I liked that it was really bright to cover the fact that there was no windows, everything was new, good ventilation, hot water all the time. BEST MATTRESS OF MY LIFE. There was hair dryer, kettle, etc. to borrow. Staff and cleaners were super!

It was too far away from the tram station, it didn't have windows (we knew that before booking, but still pretty shocking), you could hear everyone in the hallway. They didn't have any carpet, floor was freezing. It took too long for ac to start heating. When showering there paddle was made in front of toilet and it didn't dry off. Plus, when I payed for noodles in vending machine, they charged me 25€ instead of 5€, they gave me back money but it was all I had left at the time...

Very friendly staff, brand new hotel, close to public transport, nice bikes to rent, very special capsule hotel experience, with private bathroom and toilet. much cheaper than other hotels in Amsterdam.

We had a great stay at Diamond Capsule in Amsterdam! Staff were lovely and very welcoming, you are provided with complementary coffee, juice, and croissants in the morning which we appreciated, and although the rooms are small, they are cosy and kept exceptionally clean. Keep in mind when booking that this is a fair distance from the centre of Amsterdam - it is a 10-15 minute walk to the nearest tram station, and from there you will need to catch a tram and a train to reach the centre, which ended up being around 50 minutes of travel in total, but this did not bother us too much! All in all, I would recommend Diamond Capsule if you are looking for more affordable (but still very nice) accommodation around Amsterdam.

This was the first capsule hotel I have ever been to. And if you also have not yet been to such hotels, definitely do not be afraid to book this one. Once you book, the hotel sends all the instructions you need and answers all your questions right away. On the whole we liked everything very much. The hotel is clean everywhere, friendly staff, has a convenient check-in and check-out system. There is a tram stop 5-7 minutes away, there are shops and a launderette nearby. The neighbourhood of the hotel is very quiet, peaceful and close to canals where you can see different birds. Maybe the hotel is a bit far away, but definitely worth the money. And there is an opportunity to see non-touristy places of the city, which is also important. We were satisfied with both the hotel and the trip. And I would definitely recommend this place to my friends. And I would like to say thank you to all the staff for their care and love for all their guests 🙌🏻.

The bathroom has a rain shower system, which is not convenient for women. It would be cool to add a regular shower head. We also didn't figure out the air conditioning system. In our room, the modes switched independently and it was impossible to set the desired mode. So it would be great to add a little instruction on how to use this system.

Very clean and modern room. Very nicely equipped bathroom. I stayed in the room with a window overlooking the pond, so the the room was bright and cosy. Comfortable bed. Interesting shiny grey walpapers, probably to compensate the limited space. The best thing is the free parking next to the hotel and coffee with croissants in the morning. Perfect option for several nights and if you do not have high requirements for the accomodation.

Very small room, some rooms withouth windows. If you want a room with a window, it cost more and you need to ask for it when making a reservation.

The rooms were really cool. Loved the pattern, colours and design. Free tea and coffee whenever you need and access to a mini fridge in the dorm area. Very nice neighbourhood with access to the shops and restaurants at the nearby university. Lots of walking trails nearby.

It was quite a bit further from central Amsterdam than I thought, and the tram is a walk away. There are no windows in the rooms, making it harder to wake up in the morning and things feel a little claustrophobic after a while. You can hear when people are coming, going and talking in the other rooms.

However, if you prefer more spacious rooms with natural light, this might not be the best choice.

The hotel is very easy to get to, especially from the airport. I followed the directions sent by the hotel. Cleanliness is excellent. I love the concept and found my single room to be very comfortable. During my stay I spoke with 4 different front desk staff, a cleaner and a lady in charge of the dining/breakfast room, all of which delightful, friendly and polite. There are 2 different quantities for breakfast either €5 or €10 plus unlimited coffee. Personally I found the €5 amount sufficient. For those wishing to access the hotel via car, the carpark is large and easily accessible from the main roads. My sleep was completely undisturbed. Which was a concern, also the room is heated via a temperature controlled AC unit. The shower strong and hot and shower gel/shampoo provided too. There's also a vending machine in the foyer providing snacks and beer. First trip in a while on my own and the accommodation enhanced my trip exponentially. I look forward to returning ☺️

I'm struggling to find a negative, but I did find the back of the chair in the room a little uncomfortable. Easily solved with a pillow though.

It feels like a trip to the futer, the hotel placed in peace of heaven every thing is clean and beatutiful from the parking to the loby and the room (capsule). The capsule looks like a room in a space ship. I got everything i just could wish. The food came with delivery, there is Albert Hein in 5 minets drive. And the loby have machines for snackes and drinks, there is also hot drinks available. Very clean, every thing is comfort and the staff is so nice and warm, i got a feeling of a family memmber.
