I’ve travelled around and stayed in many 3-5 star properties over the years and i have never been so impressed by the knowledge, competency & talent of the hospitality staff at the hotel. And most of the staff are students or fresh graduates even more impressive! The restaurant also serves really tasty food as well. Kudos also to all the staff members for making the stay amazing from housekeeping to front of house to f&b. Mall is 5 minutes away so you can stock up supplies and also try some Indonesian family cantina food, Japanese roboto grill and much more.

I stayed 8 nights and room was cleaned only once. Additional cleaning is chargeable i would just prefer to be charged more and not have to have request add ons. If the tram was not under maintenance the location would have been 10/10. Also i strongly recommend housekeeping to not use the laundry machines to wash mops and cloth as it leaves alot of crud in the machine or clean the machine after use to make sure no crud remains and run another cycle with vinegar. Also small suggestion 20min wash may not be enough to dissolve the soap so its best to charge 4 Euro and advise guests a 40 min cycle.

Excellent front desk staff! Although location is away from the city center, the buses and trams are easy to access as they are within a few minutes of walking distance. This property is also a quick 10 minute walk to a very nice mall. Studio apartment was very accommodating for my daughter and 10 year old grandson. Space is a bit tight but when in Amsterdam you’re here for exploring and not spending time in the room! Air conditioning worked great especially since it was quite humid during their visit. Lucia’s restaurant and to go food were very good! My grandson loved the cheeseburgers!

Lighting in bathroom could use improvement as well as the light in the entryway. Only 2 hangars provided….basically had to “live” out of the suitcases.

We had a great stay at Cityden Stadshart! There were six of us, and the apartment was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. We especially appreciated having multiple bathrooms and toilets, which made it easy for everyone to get ready at the same time. The soundproofing was excellent—even though we might have talked a bit louder at times, no one ever complained, and we didn’t hear any noise from other rooms. The staff was also very helpful; we accidentally left a hair straightener and a coat behind, and they immediately informed us and offered solutions for getting them back.

However, there were a few small downsides. We didn’t receive the complimentary welcome kit that was supposed to include dishwasher tablets, and when we asked at the reception, we were given only one. We also had to ask for extra toilet paper. The lighting in the bathrooms and rooms was not ideal for doing makeup. Additionally, there were no separate shampoo and conditioner, just a single all-in-one body wash.

Well equipped room, friendly, helpful staff, proximity to tram and bus stations, grocery store and other retail facilities. I requested two rooms for our group of 4 adults and a baby and asked that they be as close as possible. We were given a studio and a 1 bedroom apartment right next to each other with a connecting door and could not have been happier with this arrangement. I had also requested a cot for the baby and this was set up in the room when we arrived. We had everything we needed to prepare meals. The hotel is in a quiet area about a 15 minute tram ride from central Amsterdam. It was easy to get to and from the bustle of Amsterdam and a delight to return to a quiet environment at the end of the day.

Overall we were very happy with our stay. One of our rooms was right next to the lift well and the noise from the lifts passing by was very audible. It did not bother us particularly. However, someone sensitive to noise would find it annoying. Other than this, the hotel was very quiet and relaxing.. The hotel is in a quiet area. While there is ample shopping at the nearby Mall during the day , close options for drink/dining in the evening were limited.

Very near the #5 tram. We liked our two-bedroom apartment with a very large master bathroom that had twin sinks, a shower and bathtub. Clean rooms. Very quiet for sleeping. We cooked four dinners and prepared all our breakfasts in the full kitchen.

Hard to avoid splashing when turning on water in the kitchen sink. No spices in the kitchen. Unclear how to use the in-room washer and dryer. Not clear how to adjust room temperature.

The location was perfect to go in amsterdam center by tram, the 40 min go by very fast. The hotel restaurant lucia was very good and not overpriced. The staff were very understanding and let us do an early check in since we had a baby. We had a problem with our shower and the staff handle it so well and fast, they understood how to make us feel important. The kitchen is fully equipped to eat at home. They even provide you with a care package of dish soap, new sponge, coffee, etc so you are good to go.

The dryer was not very effective, so we still had to hang them to dry.

The staffs are friendly and helpful. We even get to use the sauna for ourselves during our stay (just need to ask the reception and they will reserve it for you!). The location is slightly away from Amsterdaam Central, which we prefer a quieter and calm neighbourhood, however it can be reached easily by tram and has a big supermarket nearby (inside a mall).

The lights inside the room is a bit dark and it'd be better if we can open the window even just slightly for air circulation (I guess it's for safety reason). The towels provided weren't clean but the staff provided new ones upon request.

Our stay at the hotel was fantastic — everything was neat, clean, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Wifi was excellent. The location was perfect, just a 2-minute walk to the nearest tram stop, with only a 15-minute ride to the city center. There were plenty of dining options nearby, especially for Chinese and Indian cuisine. I would highly recommend this hotel. Amsterdam’s public transport system is also excellent. One ticket covers trams, trains, and buses, with frequent services making it super convenient. I highly recommend using public transport instead of taxis or Uber, as they can be very expensive — a short 15-minute ride from the airport to the hotel can cost around £40.

very clean and comfortable apartments, there is everything you need in the kitchen, all the equipment works perfectly. high-quality plumbing. Usually I hate double blankets, because 2 people have to lie like a corpse all night, otherwise someone is left without a blanket. here they are huge, we were very comfortable. also these are modern "heavy blankets" under which it is comfortable to sleep. The location of the hotel is gorgeous! very quiet cozy place. A 2-minute walk from the final stop of the tram that takes you to the city center, you can always sit comfortably. Enough parking spaces, we booked underground parking, but something went wrong and we were offered ground parking, much cheaper in price. There is a shopping center nearby, you can buy groceries and everything you need, if necessary. We were very comfortable. The hotel and staff provide information, maps, links to applications for transport, etc. When we left, the reception gave us famous Dutch waffles for the road. We will come again with great pleasure. P.S. if you are coffee lovers like us, then there is a coffee maker with the smallest capsules and 4 capsules in the room. If you need more, take it with you.

there is no such thing

Clean, modern, very friendly staff, restaurant nice if a bit expensive, a small ‘grocery store’ useful for buying snacks, a laundry useful as we are travelling for over 6 weeks. A bit out of the main town but an easy tram straight into the city taking only 25 minutes.

Rooms were way smaller than expected, more a hotel room than an apartment. The kitchenette was really a waste of space because even if you prepared food in the room there was nowhere to sit and eat it. Very little storage space for clothes and luggage.
