Great location, large airy bedroom, good breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. The digital check in and keys worked well.

Would have preferred a proper door to the bathroom rather than the shutter- type one. But the bathroom is a good size, too.

The apartment is stunning, it's a very large flat, very clean, with comfy sofa and chairs and very comfy beds. It's also warm and cosy. It's right in the heart of Leiden and so you have lots of cafes, shops and restaurants right outside the door. The view of the canal from the lounge is lovely. Its a 10 min walk away from the main hotel where you collect your keys, but that was fine for us. The photos were taken when we were leaving, rather than when we first arrived, hence the slightly untidy beds and sofa. It was perfect when we arrived.

The location being central means is it noisy in the evening, so as long as you bring ear plugs you will be fine. Also my partner is 6'1" and he had to be careful on the inner staircase as there's a low beam, just something to be aware of, but shouldn't stop you booking this beautiful place.

The location is excellent. Walking distance from the Train Station and also from the Centre of Town. The Breakfast is excellent - the rooms comfortable Since the air con was non-functional in one of our rooms, the Host gave us a complimentary breakfast which was nice of her.

The contact numbers mentioned on the front door are not reachable - as we tried to get in touch but were unable to. The Air-conditioner in one of our rooms was non-functional and despite attempts to have it repaired - it was not possible for the duration of our stay But, for one night out of the rest of the stay we were given the option to use another room which was good - only made us realise that without a functional air con its not comfortable!!

The location is perfect; the train station is like less than 10 minutes walking from the hotel. There are several restaurants/pubs/ supermarkets around, so do not depend on the breakfast offered there. Safe zone. The hotel has a terrace to enjoy the good weather and the staff is really nice.

The reduced time of the onsite staff (there is only one person till 2 pm in reception). This means, for example, that if you travel in the evening, and you do not want to take your luggage with you the whole day before leaving Leiden, the only option is the train station, where you can find lockers for 5 euros per day. In view of the price you pay for your stay, I think this factor is relevant.

The photos did not do justice to the beauty of the apartment. It was simply but beautifully decorated with an emphasis on comfort. It had gorgeous views and was located close to public transportation. My only regret after seeing it was that we couldn't stay longer. It was a highlight of the trip.

The apartment was not near the hotel itself, so there was a bit more walking with luggage than planned. That said, it was in an even more beautiful location than the main hotel.

Easy to find from the train station in Layton. The hostess Mickey, was very helpful and friendly. Our room was on the top floor with a view of the windmill and the bed was very comfortable. Market day is Wednesday and Saturday and we thoroughly enjoyed visiting the variety of stalls with colorful flowers and vegetables and everything else.

If you are a larger person you will have difficulty fitting into the toilet space and the shower space. All else is great at this hotel except at late evening when the beer taverns across the street get crowded and extremely noisy. The room is quite well insulated. And we enjoyed our stay. Leiden is a wonderful town to walk around.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable with a good shower and nice bed linen. The location is great with the train station and the beautiful historic town just a few minutes walk away. There are some good restaurants nearby. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel but enjoyed breakfast at some of the excellent local cafes.

Initially, I did not like the fact that the reception wasn't manned throughout the day and that entry to the hotel and my room was by keyless entry with a digital app. My phone signal wasn't great which made it slightly problematical to gain access to the hotel and room. But once set up all was straight forward.

Spacious, spotless and very comfortable room. The location of the hotel is perfect for easy access to the train and bus stations as well as the city itself. Despite the wonderful location the room was very quiet with no disturbances from outside. The presence of a fridge and kettle is also important to me.

Hotel reception is not 24/7 which is not really a problem in a very secure hotel but it did mean that we had to leave our bags in a locker in the train station on the last day. Not really an issue and it would not stop me staying at the hotel again

The location is close to Leiden Central train station, many restaurants and bars, and a bus stop making it super easy to explore Leiden. The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions and needs. The bed was soft and comfortable. It also has an elevator!

Our room was in the front making it a great people watching room, but also making it loud at night. The bathroom is a tight fit and plantation shutters as doors look cool, but do not offer much privacy. The shower is roomy, but the floors are slippery.

Right in the centre of the old town and still very close to rail station and bus terminal. Ideal location for using public transport to surrounding towns, like Delft, Den Hague and Amsterdam itself. 20 minutes from schipol too. We even took a short bus ride to the coastline. Could not be happier with the location of the hotel.
