The hotel is in a perfect location, right in front of the train station making it very easy to go to other cities, and is also right next to the center. The staff was extremely friendly and always greeted us as we walked in and right before we left, the rooms are spacious and always thoroughly cleaned the bedsheets and linens are also changed daily. Some items are not placed inside the rooms however if you ask for it they will provide you with it right away. I initially booked a shorter stay at this hotel and was looking at other hotels to see which is the best in Maastricht and I ended up extending my stay here because it honestly is the best hotel in Maastricht and I highly recommend staying here when you visit. I will definitely book this hotel again if I come back to Maastricht

The location is excellent, right opposite the train and bus stations, and the city center is a pleasant 10-minute walk away, there are a lot of restaurants and shops nearby. Large comfortable rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, all the necessary amenities in the bathroom. I really liked that there was a coffee machine and a seating area in the room. It's good that the restaurant is open until late at night.

Nothing special, but the air conditioning was a bit weak, it couldn't cool the room enough in the afternoon, but at night we opened the windows and it was very pleasant.

The hotel is excellent and located in a very nice area. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there’s a lovely indoor swimming pool. I especially loved the sitting area by the room's window - a perfect spot to relax.

The only thing I didn’t like was that the double bed was made up of two single mattresses. It was impossible to sleep in the middle, as you’d fall into the gap between the easily movable mattresses. I was also expecting one large blanket for the whole bed, but instead, we were given two single blankets—one per person. Not ideal for couples.

Grand old hotel lots of character. Tried booking an afternoon tea on our arrival, (12/12)was told to come back as kitchen not open to confirm. Went back each day, on one occasion we were told to check with the restaurant , who told us they were too busy. Subsequent visits to the reception desk still had no confirmation. another staff member was looking into it and asked us to come back after the Andre Rieu dinner, we did but she wasn't there and other staff did not know. When checking out there was a charge for the tea on our bill, we had no idea that it had finally been booked as no one had left a message for us.

Good location, just across from rail and buses. Loved the Christmas decos, really added to the festive feeling. Hard beds , handgrip on bathtub in unsuitable place considering the height of the tub and older guests with mobility issues. Disappointed that smoking is allowed in restaurants especially as I suffer allergies and come from a food space smoke free country.

The Staff were exceptional, the service was great from them, they will go above and beyond for the guests, the rooms are clean and well maintained

The bar in the hotel, the manager is very abrupt and he has no decorum, We asked for a menu and he said he was fully booked, in the dining area yes, but in the bar area (which is all connected) there were plenty of available tables, but apparently you are not allowed to eat there, go figure, He said we could have room service, so again I asked for a menu and his reply was there is a room service menu in the room, A cheese toastie, burger and some other stuff, over priced and not fit for purpose, this was at 8pm not 3am in the morning, we had to go out in the freezing cold to eat somewhere else, this is the only thing that would stop me recommending this hotel to anyone

The hotel is in a fantastic location! The personnel is very polite and helpful! It’s a very beautiful old historical building in front of the nice train station of Maastricht! The restaurant of the hotel have tasteful food and cozy environment! The hotel is very close by walking to all the attractions, shops and restaurants! The best hotel to stay in Maastricht!

I received around 20 autogenerated spam mails, before, during and after my stay. I will have to think twice about staying at the place again, as I don't want my mail box to be filled with pointless spam. I am always juggling with several hotel reservations at the same time, as I travel for a living. So I want only a confirmation of my booking. Not a bundle of other spam mails.

Very nice and comfortable rooms. Tasty breakfast. Perfect location in front of the station (and not too far from the city-center neither). We enjoyed spa bath for the first time in individual hotel room which was excellent experience. The lady at the reception was very nice and changed our 2 rooms to make near to each other. Our family all of us really liked here so much and would love to repeat. One of the best and cost-value hotels.

There were some minor cleaning service and room facilities that were not up to scratch. But these did not affect the comfort of our stay in any way. One of my family who was sleeping in an extra bed aside the window in front of the station woke up early morning because there were shouting person outside, others did not notice anything and had a very good sleep.

The room was clean comfortable and a good size with balcony Breakfast a good selection from all over the world. Location was Excellent could not fault the Location at all.

The room had no USB ports, and the Mattress's were old and tiered. Breakfast would have been even better had there been either Beans or Tomatoes and English Tea bags. The hotel location was Excellent. Overall in my humble opinion to improve your Hotel I would put USB ports in , Bigger cups, replace the mattress's and I would also drill some ventilation holes in the top of the cupboards that house the refrigerators. Ohh and also put the shower spray head which has great pressure on the end wall. And you will have a great Hotel geared towards the future. Great Britain.

AS I said previously, the location is excellent, the staff upon arrival, much later than anticipated, were verykind. Breakfast was good

I wished to spend an extra day in Maastricht, was told that my room was available, but they would not honor the price paid for my first night. Surprising as the hallway was soked due to a massive flood, pipe bust, I think. There was no water at least not all day. Contrast that to a comparable hotel in Berlin, where unsked, the hotel gave their guests a 25 Euro discount and free breakfast because the a/c had failed. I decided to stay the 2nd night elsewhere
