Check in through the bar, staff were great, friendly and helpful. Rooms were recently renovated, comfortable and quiet (though we stayed mid-week). Coffee facilities for one of our rooms was on the landing half a flight down, possibly shared with guests on the that side of the building. It was no problem for us to carry the mugs up and down but we have short coffees. No tea facilities in either rooms or landing, but were happily provided from the bar downstairs upon request. Staff were happy to store our suitcases after checkout. Good location - short distance to drag a suitcase from the station, and a short walk over the Maas into the old city.

Rooms could do with more hooks for hanging, especially by the door. No reception, everything is managed through the bar that only opens at 9.

I was a little concerned that the hotel was above a tavern. However, I had no issues with sound or any disruption. In fact quite the opposite. I had a comfortable and very pleasant stay. The room I was given had a balcony and the decor is bright and fresh. I asked for an earlier check in, this was provided as well as ironing facilities. The location was ideal, close to the station, bus stop, and a short walk from the city centre. There are numerous restaurants and bakeries on the doorstep.

The stairs are quite narrow. Something to take in to consideration if not so able bodied. Otherwise I recommend highly.

The bar downstairs was very convenient and had delicious food. The staff were very friendly and they were able to accommodate an unexpected early checkin for us which was amazing. The room was very spacious and beautifully decorated and the beds were very comfortable.

The room was very cold and I found it hard to figure out how to get heat on. There was also some dust/debris - maybe from the open window - all over the bathtub which had to be cleaned before I could use it. It was also on top of the bedspread though to a lesser extent.

The hotel is nice in an old building, it is located not far from railway station and in 15 min away from the city centre. The staff is good and friendly, all the time ready to help. Cosy and quiet room, working air-condition. Coffee, water and tea were offered us as a compliment from the hotel.

Bad internet connection on the upper floor. Mold in the bathroom. Broken mirror in front of the toilet. Heater was loud and not working, but they offered to fix it next day.

The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The bed was big and comfortable. The bathroom was modern, very clean and spacious enough. They also have a coffee machine which is lovely to have in the morning :) The staff was kind and helpful.

The only disappointment we experienced was during dinner at their restaurant: At the moment of paying we realized that they had charged us for the water, even when I specifically asked I wanted tap water, and they gave us such, only in a nice glass bottle (nothing special about it, no brand, no logo, nothing, just a pretty bottle with a lid) - I can understand that some restaurants do not want to give tap water, but then they should be open and honest about it, so the client can make the choice. Because we didn't know, we asked again for more water, and then we saw 9 EUR on the check (really???, 9 EUR???, almost as expensive as the wine we drank!!!). We felt a bit fooled and robbed, and this gave a bitter taste to the stay. Sadly we saw the charge later on so we didn't complain about it.

I would have rated this a 10 but the restaurant downstairs was closed for renovations and which was unexpected and which we would have liked to have known in advance. I ended up getting locked out when I took the wrong key and which would have been easily fixed with staff downstairs. The room was beyond gorgeous though. Really spacious for a family of four with so much room. We were so impressed with it and the huge bathroom with big tub. Very close to the bridge so excellent location. Fab amenities in the room - we didn't want to leave!

That the restaurant was closed. Parking was a bit of a pain - we parked in the Q by the train station.

The staff was very friendly and willing to help. Tye room is clean, comfortable and in Great location, walkable to everything. I had a great time here.

There is no elevator so with large suitcase, it is very difficult. Also, there was no proper lobby, so checking in in the restaurant was kinda awkward, but the staffs were very friendly and accomodate me well.

The room was delightful to stay in - really light, airy and clean and beautifully decorated! The bed was also extremely comfortable! We had a great meal in the restaurant - would recommend the house beer! Most importantly of all, the staff were so friendly and welcoming … just what we needed after a long couple of days travelling. Easy parking and a short walk into the centre.

Nothing - everything was perfect!

Freshly renovated, great location, great staff. There’re a couple of narrow stairs, but a bit of a workout doesn’t hurt no one.

We stayed two days, and there was no room/cleaning service. Had to ask for coffee refills and clean cups ourselves. The breakfast is from 9 till 12, which is nice, unless you’re staying there for work. There was construction/renovation going on within the property.

The room basically had everything that we needed, lovely people that work there, great breakfast!! Perfect location! Near the train station and near the centre. They even had a room where we could put our bags in after checking out. It was perfect!

I kinda missed a chair where I could place my clothes on, or sit down on while putting on my shoes. Other than that, it was lovely.
