Pricing was good. Building was clean and comfortable. Hot water in the the shower was good. Breakfast tasted great and was pretty varied. Staff was kind and helpful.

Access to the building is baffling. You have to find your way around fences and gates, but the outside has no paved walkway. The worn-down path is overgrown with grass and other weeds, and is exceedingly muddy on a rainy day. The price of the hotel was good, but not great. At this cost I would think breakfast should be included, or that there might be some bottled water. There are no stores or restaurants nearby so if you're hungry and arriving late you just doomed.

I came to Utrecht to attend the academic conference, which was held at Utrecht Central. At first, I was concerned about the distance. But when I arrived here, I found the traffic was convenient. There are tram stops and bus stops near the hotel, which make my travel to the central station easy (about 13 minutes). Also, the environment of my room in the hotel is good and the people here are nice. Not bad. I recommend Bastion !!

Better tell the guests that the bottles of water here are not free. The bathroom is a bit small and there is no space to place my bathroom supplies.

We had everything we needed in the room for a one night on the way to Amsterdam. Price was the deciding factor - Comparing to other prices, this was a super value with 2-digit euros for a night - nice shower, fan, big bed, spacious room. Relatively quiet in the room, considering it is next to the tram trails and 4 track motorway.

Could be more clean on the floor, all other was sparkling. The fridge was there, but not working.

Breakfast excellent, location convenient for transport by car or bike, on foot it is strange. The pedestrians are almost extinct species here. The hotel staff is very helpful. Room was very clean and quiet.

The floor in the room dissipates heat very well, so walking barefoot or in socks is not very comfortable. And not many people pack slippers on a business trip. Room equipment is very spartan - capsule coffee machine, but only sugar and powdered milk available Cyclists cross the street smoothly, pedestrians are ignored by cars. But this is not the hotel fault 😊

free private parking at the hotel (both underground parking garage and in front of hotel, secured), room is fairly comfortable, quiet neighborhood, staff is nice and helpful, breakfast (extra fee) was very good in the morning, elevator and card access even on floor (not only to room), bars downstairs

it feels overpriced (at least for me), location is a bit far from city center (1 hour walk) or using public transport (20-30 minutes), toiletries are rather basic, the overall feeling you get is that is needs a bit more care

The location is very good, since there are bus & tram stops very close to the hotel. This made getting to the Utrecht central station very easy. The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was nice and clean, though not very spacious.

The bathroom was really small, and the sink was tiny. This made washing up quite difficult and bothersome… (see photo)

Simple and comfortable room with big and nice bed. Good breakfast. Very friendly staff. Easy and free parking. With the tram you are in the city centre in 15 minutes. Good value for money.

Room bit outdated.

The beds were very comfortable and the room was good. There was a parking garage (free) and public transport nearby to go to Utrecht central station.

A small gym is available with treadmill, hometrainer and bike, but they make a lot of noise when using them. Also they offered shampoo in small bottles, I would have preferred big dispensers to limit plastic waste.

The place is really clean

They charge me tax. Even if I didn't broke anything. I don't know why they charge me tax. They said everybody do it. I don't understand it.

Great Location wise very close to tram station. It was comfortable to leave the car in parking and use public transportation to the city center. Within a couple of minutes. Great friendly personnel. If the price could be slightly less that will be 10/10... But overall great experience.

A bit of the price is high.
