Excellent English breakfast that I paid extra for, and the cook took my suggestion to replace the hash brown potatoes with fresh diced potatoes with the skin. The room had a panaramic view of the rail station and mountains facing the sun to the north, and a well equipped kitchenette. There were recycling bins in the room: a good touch. My room was on the balcony, and a bench for relaxing was provided.

The bathroom was small, without a vanity top for storing toiletries, and the shower rose faced the door, so the first time I turned it on, the bath mat got sopping wet. There was no fitted bottom sheet on the bed, just a top sheet that crumpled up, and had to be straightened out constantly. The location at first appeared to be very close to the supermarket, and shops, but the town hadn't taken into consideration that not everyone drives a car. The motel is on a busy highway.

A quick overnight stop before and after completing a multi-day tramp. Accommodation was great - good location, comfortable room, great comfy bed and had everything we needed. We stayed in two different rooms on each occasion and both were excellent and very comfortable. Fresh milk and choccies in the fridge were a nice touch. The staff were all lovely.

Nothing to dislike. It would have been nice to have both body wash and shampoo in the shower rather than just shampoo, but fine for one night. No complaints.

Here for the Trans Alpine train. This Motel is very proximate (about 10 minutes walk) for this and reasonable walking distance for the rest of Greymouth. Picked for price point, the motel exceeded expectations in terms of friendly welcome from Abby, good size room, clean, able to do simple food prep. Would use again.

A couch to sit upon would have been nice but acknowledge this would have cramped the room. The table and two chairs provided were adequate for our needs for a single night.

We were only there for one night The room had everything we needed and it was very clean .It's very handy to Supermarket and the township.Excellent parking as we had our ute and trailer 😀 The lady that was looking after the motel was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are a good size.Cleaners were friendly and great,as I had left something in our room but she came over to us before we left .

We had a issue with the TV not having signal. But it wasn't a problem.

A great motel, with all needed facilities in the rooms. Great personnel, very helpful and friendly (they helped us with a very late check-in and a forgotten mobile phone charger in the room). Lots of available parking spaces for those who are driving. A New World supermarket and a Subway fast food restaurant very close to the location, for those without breakfast included in the room(s) booking.

There was nothing to dislike about it.

Lovely warm welcome. Everything explained very clearly. Lovely quiet room with parking outside the door. Spotlessly clean with very comfortable bed and pillows. Nice big bathroom with great shower. Nice to have the use of a laundry. Good location close to town.

Only complaint from us was the crockery etc at the bottom and back of the sink cupboard. We felt it would be much better placed up higher on a shelf or in a cupboard above the sink (we both suffer back problems so had trouble reaching it).

Comfortable bed. Good shower in bathroom, plenty of hot water. Friendly staff. Motel was secure and safe for a solo traveller. They collected me from station free of charge, This was really helpful as my luggage heavy and the road is a steep bend to the motel, plus very busy road at times Supermarket nearby for food, walking distance. Stayed just one night after TransAlpine Trip, took the bus to Nelson the next day. Visited Shantytown nearby, interesting place, all about the gold mines.

Not much to do in Greymouth. Looks a bit run down in the town centre. Bathroom window has net curtain but it could do with a blind or a curtain for better privacy Motel room could do with new bed covers, maybe get rid of carpets, but that's all, my stay overall was good.

The staff were lovely - super friendly and helpful. The room was immaculately clean and had little extras like some chocolate in fridge and everything else we needed - even an ironing board! The shower pressure was awesome - much appreciated after 4 days of hiking with no showers.

Could have used a 2nd key on arrival as we were a group of 3 - but staff very happy to give us one later on.

As we had taken the Trans Alpine from Christchurch we decided to find a motel close by. They picked us up and took us back to the motel. Husband and wife team, very friendly and helpful. Found the unit very clean especially compared to out Christchurch motel. Made to feel welcomed and any problems just let them know. Would definitely use them again. Another great touch was the Whittakers chocolates in the fridge.

Nothing really except maybe have tissues available. Now used to all hotels and motels we go to having them.

A 10 minute walk from the Greymouth Train Station. Due to rain, the hotel graciously provided transfer from the station to the motel and back the next day. A nice large apartment with shared balcony. Clean, comfortable, and well set up.

A bit odd to enter and exit the studio via the balcony door, especially with the rain.
