Great facilities for kids, clean, private bathroom cells which was really nice, much better than a huge communal space with cubicals etc. Kitchen was a good size, and clean, and lots to do for the kids. Loved the real fruit ice cream and coffees, was a good bonus. Everything was tidy and well run. We enjoyed our stay.

A think a no smoking zone outside the bunk room buildings would have been great, neighbors smoked right outside our room and it was awful. Also rooms are VERY air tight and overwhelmingly hot, only option was a fan and a window open. Couldn't use the top bunk it was so hot. Really need better ventilation or air con in those rooms.

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment and would highly recommend it! We have an autistic teenager who is very particular! We didn't have to use any of our regular antibacterial sprays or extra cleaning that we have to use in other places. Everything you need is at this place! Laundry services 10/10, sky room 10/10, dining room 10/10.

Tidy, clean and spacious accomodation, solid wood bunks (yay no squeaky shakey metal!) Nice kids area. The giant pillow is always a Top 10 highlight! And nice kids games area. Mini golf right there and right on the beach. Exciting being right next to the air strip too! We had the two bedroom cabin so own kitchenette and bathroom which had all the things we needed and great shower.

I stayed in the single cabins with bed only. A bit sparse. Had trouble to standing and walking around bed due to sloping walls and I am 6'1" / 1.85M and not much room. My luggage would only fit in doorway as not enough room. But I loved the site, great amenities, clean and bright. So I should have rented a cabin higher grade? Thanks for the pleasant stay!

The staff are friendly, room was very clean and close to facilities. The facilities on site make it enjoyable for the kids to play til late and know they are safe and having fun. The showers and water is nice and hot. Very enjoyable, we extended our stay.

A great stay! Clean and tidy and exactly what I expected.

I seemed to have an issue getting the TV to work, but when I did I couldn’t find much for kids to watch. When making a booking online I added two children, but didn’t see that I had to add the ages of my children. It wasn’t obvious, so when I arrived I was asked to pay an extra $25. I think this could be made a little more obvious. Overall a great place (just a little constructive criticism) I will return with my family again in the future.

The showers were modern with underfloor heating which was lovely to stand and walk on, and dried any residual water on the floor. The cabin was very nice although the bed was hard. And it was only a tiny walk to the kitchen and ablution block. And not to be underestimated, was being allowed to leave the car overnight in a safe locked compound while off cycling.

Great whānau friendly and family run holiday park. Plenty of options for all budgets and sized family from solo traveller's to big groups. Heaps for the whole whānau to do including mini putt, walks to the beach, jumping pillow and playground for the kids, karts and a spa pool. We'll worth staying and returning to. 😀

Helpful, friendly staff. Nicely presented, clean cabins. New, clean, ensuite-style bathroom facilities. Close to beach, handy to town and main roads in and out of Greymouth.

The mattresses on the beds - I could feel the hard wooden bed base (We were in a cabin). Adult kids said their mattresses were awful too

The playground was great and suitable for a range of ages. Beach access was super easy, the accommodation is next to the beach don't even cross a road. Good kitchens and eating spaces, pizza hut is super close if you don't want to cook, need your own crockery they don't rent it here like at others. Heater was very effective at heating the room. Bathroom and showers are new and clean (can't control how they are after others have used them).

More a suggestion, rubber mats or something in the shared bathrooms, the room was very wet after people showered and quite slippery.
