The hotel room was great, very clean, comfortable bed and the inclusive breakfasts were delicious. The staff were very friendly. Great location and so handy with the Explorer bus stops close by.

We arrived at night and it was very difficult to collect the key from the lockbox as no light above these. There were no instructions on how to open the lockbox in thee we envelope left for us, just a code. It would so much easier to have a pin code on the hotel entry door. It could be changed after each stay. The main hotel door was really difficult to open with the key.

Location was good for the purpose that we were there For a 12m² room with no view it was a very expensive stay. In comparison, our friends had a three bedroom apartment with a beautiful view for less than we paid at the Oyster inn

Housekeeping was not done for the three days we were there until we asked for clean towels. Used caps in wine glasses were not replaced, but left in the room. The bed was only made one morning.

The breakfast was delicious but was slow service, and we needed to get the ferry. We had been there half an hour and I ended up going to ask for it to takeaway. The chef could not have been more apologetic and it was delicious cold anyway. There was no obvious reason the service should have been that slow- there was one other couple in the dining room. It doesn’t change my overall experience which was fabulous

We did not have breakfast at The Oyster Inn . We were too early for it so went over the road.

I think the check in procedure could have been better but it was a very busy time of the day. We had to put a bit of pressure on to get into our room but all worked out in the end.

The property was very central being on the main street of the main town in Waiheke. The room itself was excellent with all the amenities you could really need and good quality toiletries and complementary food.

A midday nap may be difficult given the music from the restaurant but they even give you earplugs so I can't really say this is much of a negative.

The cooked breakfast was excellent every morning. The dinner at the restaurant was fabulous. The service was all round excellent

Would have been nice to have a bit more of a view from the room, but that's how it is. Didn't spend a lot of time in the room anyway, the views from just walking through town were awesome.

The rooms, although simple were perfect for what we needed. The location is terrific, restaurant is wonderful and the surprise package for us was how delicious the included breakfast was. The staff were also excellent.

Only being super picky - it was quite hot when we arrived so took a little time to cool down the room.

Handy to restaurants, shops and beach. Breakfast; Note that the Oyster Inn restaurant is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but they provide a voucher for breakfast at the restaurant next door on those days. We had breakfast at both and both were excellent.

breakfast was excellent, but starting at 9am was far too late. We has to skip breakfast on final day as we had to connect with a ferry back to Auckland

Noise. The kitchen staff made a lot of noise, This included bashing ice blocks beside our room and general high volume conversations- which you couldnt escape from room one. Unbelievably, a truck with loud pump turned up early on Sunday morning. We know they have to service wastewater etc facilities oin the island- but at that time of the morning!!!

Cute and cosy, great location. Little treats in the room were a great touch. Breakfast was delish, and dinner at the restaurant was so nice. It was quiet.
