The garden dining and restaurant are fabulous. We were able to upgrade to a twin share room on the Novotel side for not too much extra as the ibis twin single beds room was a bit small.location perfect for my daughter to have surgery at Ascot hospital early next morning

Ibis rooms are smaller than I realised and no opening windows . Room was too light at night with aircon light bright near the beds and no other source of air so couldn’t turn it off.

The location was great for Alleviate Hospital. The bed was very comfortable. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious.

Being charged to park the car! The food was nearly gone at breakfast, even though there was still 1.5 hours before the end of service. Lack of food optional and drink options made my continental breakfast a very expensive $30. Which was disappointing. I spoke to one of the young wait staff. But she just made excuses.

Very nice and comfy bed, lovely clean and cosy room. Great value for money for a short term stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The car park is right outside the hotel, so very convenient and feels safe to leave your car overnight. Great location with the city centre only being a short drive away

The corridor on our floor was a bit dark and gloomy, could do with better lighting or a warmer coat of paint. Parking is not included in the price, and is on a first come first serve basis, so may not be great for peak times. We didn’t have any trouble finding a spot though, and there is another car park further down the road

The staff where all very friendly and welcoming. Really loved the dining/lounge area, and had the most attentive service from Muni and Leonie in the restaurant, who made sure we were enjoying the evening and making time for a friendly chat.

Would have benefited from one more shelf to put a second large suitcase. There was a cupboard, but adding that extra shelf (definitely room to add it) would work better to keep things organised.

Ibis Ellerslie is just off the main motorway making it easy to get to and a great place to use as a base to access the city and surrounds. The staff are efficient, helpful and friendly. I had an issue with parking which they solved easily and with a positive attitude. The room was incredibly clean and quiet.

The breakfast selection was varied but had been in the warming trays for some time. It was filling but lacked freshness.

Me and my partner found ourselves almost In love with the desserts, and the speed of which the food was given to us from the time of ordering was rather quick, the hotel was conveniently placed aswell amazingly easy to navigate, all staff members were helpful before, during and after our stay, would recommend.

Trying to locate the hotel from our daily activity was a hassle, the traffic was horrendous, using Google maps wasn't fun at all for it led us to a car park that has nothing to do with the hotel itself.

Wonderful staff, clean rooms, reasonably quiet and great location for me. Food was good. Just very relaxing and great value on top.

The parking. There were a huge amount of suvs driven by the other guests. This did make it difficult for me (on one night only) to make sure I had enough room to get out of my vehicle as I have mobility issues (but not normally bad enough for a mobility park). And I’m not blaming the hotel, I think it just happened to be like that one night.

I didn't have breakfast. I changed my mind, due to staff not telling me options before I sat down. Didn't explain about the buffet or cooked breakfast menu. As I was by myself as partner couldn't might it for the weekend. I was left feeling uncomfortable and changed my mind about breakfast and told staff member that I had changed my mind about breakfast and left.

We arrived early & thanks to the lady at the reception Ms.Mckanzie (?) our room was ready and gave us key for early check-in. Everything else about the property was as we expected . The bar area was good to lounge. Super Shuttle for the Auckland airport services this hotel.

The google maps need correction & not accurate (especially if you are driving ). We went around for sometime before we could locate it.

Very convenient location just off the motorway while still in quiet, parklike setting. Didn't hear any traffic. Very lovely staff. Good size room and comfy bed. Good size work desk with handy plugs. Easy on-site parking.

breakfast was a bit hectic with a few items like spoons, bowls or glasses missing but staff were super friendly
