Excellent location so close to the city. Free parking and great salt water pool 🤔(well I think it was salt water) reception was great as we arrived after reception closed, they left key in lock box for us. Room was tidy and comfortable for our needs.

We stayed in Room 11 - The double/bed was hard and difficult to get around to far side, it seemed too big for the room and badly placed. The shower was weak. The unit was dated BUT it was tidy and clean for its age. Still a great place to stay.

We stayed in studio (2),2 nights, running a little late 4 check in as planned but nice warm greeting by owners upon arrival,fully contained,studio,incl. Coffee, tea, sachet stand,able to relax after day on the road, was nice country feeling Quiet,could hear the birds singing 5am in the morning,which I recorded lol.. The accommodation had that nice homely feeling for us,so would highly recommend if you not fussy lol...but it served us well for 2 nights,it was not far from our event, grandchildren & I enjoyed the pool too,wishing proprietors all the best as new managers. My shower gear got stolen my fault I forgot to grab it out of the shower

The location. It was close to everywhere I was going to. This is my second time staying there and the owners were just as helpful and friendly as the first time I was there. The room I was in is the same one I stayed in in my first visit and was the perfect size for me.

The cleaning staff didn't service my room and I ended up going to ask the owners for more towels etc late in the afternoon. Also some of the dishes were dirty like plates, cutlery etc

Our family had the pleasure of staying in the air bnb house. The team were very accommodating to our needs and provided our family with exceptional accommodation. If there is anything wrong or you need please let the team know. They wont know unless you say. The location was central for all our activities and it felt like home away from home.

Booked a basic cabin for 1 nights stay which was clean and comfortable. Friendly, helpful staff. Quiet and close to Auckland CBD. Loved the pleasant surroundings of Touchwood Motor Inn and the swimming pool was a bonus. Would stay there again.

The owners are really friendly and just awesome people. They go out of their way to make sure their guests have everything they need and some.

Welcoming and friendly owners. Perfect space for a family of 5 to cook, shower, play cards, do washing, and relax in a nice, quiet and private establishment. 5min walk to a bustling pub, 4 square, fish n chip shop, Korean chicken shop, Burger Wisconsin and other eateries. Kids would of enjoyed the pool if we had arrived earlier and stayed longer. Will definitely be back! Thank you for having us.

Staff were very nice. I went off previous reviews and had sent an email to the motel in regards to these reviews once i arrived there i was offered a walk through of rooms and if unhappy then i was offered a full refund. We had three rooms. (Two family suites and 1 standard double room) all 3 rooms were spacious, clean and tidy. And kids enjoyed the pool also. Towels were provided for once requested, rubbish was collected from grounds very regularly, pool was clean and refreshing

The staff were very helpful at check-in and throughout. The pool was perfect natural salt water and slightly heated. Nice and quiet , a good place to relax in the city. I would recommend this a good place to bring the kids,

The carpet could do with a clean , but overall wasn't too bad.
