I think it is ridiculous they charge $300 for a bond which exceeds the room rate, if they imprint your card they can charge on it so there is no need to put such an amount on it. Plus they do not instantly refund upon check out. This is something they should check on. Especially for valued guests. There should be no need to do this

It was modern and bed was comfortable, plus it had a nice bathroom with flexi hose shower. I hate fixed shower heads. There were places to eat within easy walking distance.

There was only one person on reception, so check-in took a while as there was a queue. There was nowhere to sit in the room other than the bed and one cube shaped foot stool.

Did you offer breakfast? The bathroom mirror was lovely, the missus could not get away from it! The beds were very comfortable and clean! Unfortunately the TV viewing was limited, but did not hinder the overall experience.

Only criticism I will provide is the television viewing experience is very limited unfortunately.

Clean and tidy in a good location for what we were going to do in Auckland

Just a bit difficult to get to on the gps. It’s in a little shopping centre and the gps had us a the destination out on the main road. Had to go around the block and come in a different way.

Went for warriors game, so close and convenient for this. Was super clean. Shower pressure was amazing! They let us check in early because our flight was so early so huge ups for that! Bed was super soft and comfortable. House keeping was done without asking even just staying 2 nights so was very nice to come back to clean bed and towels. Room was very tidy and clean. Only suitable for a couple nights and 2 pax as quite small. Aircon was a treat as it was soooo hot and muggy in the hotel and everywhere in Auckland so stepping into our chilly box was devine.

No food options or restaurant etc at the hotel itself. I know there is restaurants pretty close! But it's odd for such a large hotel to have no food options on site except for a vending machine in reception.

The hotel has excellent amenities for someone in a wheelchair with great space and great accessibly with the bathroom space. The room is always clean with good quality linen and super helpful staff. We have stayed on 3 separate occasions while attending appointments at Greenlane Hospital. It is not far to travel via vehicle and great access to a variety of food outlets nearby. We will be more than happy to continue staying when needing accommodation in Auckland again and having used many other Hotels/Motels previously the Laquinta Wyndham Ellerslie is great value for what you pay compared to many others. This was our second time staying at La Qunita and we opted for a slightly larger room. Appreciated the washer and dryer as we had just spent a few days camping and needed some fresh clothing for our flight home. Room cleanliness was good. Staff were also quite accommodating and made check in and check out very easy. Parking I found to also be much easier than in the CBD and a reasonable price.

There is no restaurant within the hotel and because we visited during the holidays most of the food and drink options within walking distance appeared to be closed. Not a big deal but something to note if you’re wanting an all inclusive type hotel.

We enjoyed staying at La Quinta by Wyndham very much. I chose it because it was within walking distance of where we had to meet our bus tour, Moa Tours, for our recent trip to Coromandel. It was so convenient. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating. Everything was very professional. We even had our room upgraded for our return stay. That was unexpected but gave us a wee bit more room which was nice.

It would have been great if there was a restaurant there, but there were amazing cafes only a few minutes walk away at Central Park. It was not so easy to find something to eat at night.

Very new clean rooms with new furnishing and appliances. Loved the little gym. Great location, can walk to train station. I felt very safe.

Parking easily accessible but must pay daily rate. TV was new but it required Google login to use.

The room was warm and spotlessly clean. Shower was great. the bed was larger than expected and reasonably comfortable. The kitchenette had all we needed, with a toaster, jug and good sized coffee mugs. A folder with local amenities and services offered by the hotel, such as breakfast would have been useful. Very impersonal hotel but ok for us as we were out all day. An extra $25/day is charged for parking, even on the street frontage.

The staff member on the desk when we arrived was pleasant but confusing to deal with. They charged a $300 bond, haven't been asked for a bond anywhere else we've stayed at for many years. The cost of our room was taken from our credit card without checking how we wished to pay. There is no info in the room on how to use the electronic devices, TV or aircon. You can hear the reticulated air system humming 24/7.
