It was warm and cosy. The staff were really nice. Despite having neighbours it was quiet or we couldn’t really hear other people unless they were right outside our door. We also liked the theme of the motel. LOVE the mirror in the bathroom it’s so cool.

The water temperature was a bit temperamental and when it was hot it was really hot. We noticed if the toilet was flushed or if someone used the water in another room the shower would run boiling hot almost burning us or run cold. The grout job on the shower is also a bit messy and some dusting on the skylight above the shower could’ve been done but those are just small things we could look past since everything else was really great.

I’ll be honest I was a little apprehensive at first after reading some of the reviews on Booking.com. But having now stayed here, it’s clear that some of those comments must’ve come from people with far too much time on their hands (and not a lot of real travel experience!). The motel was clean, tidy, and well-presented. Everything was just as it should be comfortable, quiet, and exactly what you need for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we had absolutely no issues. Don’t let the negative reviews put you off this place is a gem. I’d happily stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for reliable and affordable accommodation.

This place is awesome, we unfortunately had booked another accomodation in the area which wasn’t acceptable and shouldnt be even allowed to act as a motel it was a halfway house accomodation. We promptly left after viewing out room and canceled within 5 mins and at last min was able to secure 2 nights at this newly renovated inn down the road for the same price. It was clean, ample free parking, comfortable bedding, massive TV, Kitchenette and lots of eating places. We had a car so getting to places like central Auckland, North shore etc was a breeze. There is a ritzy supermarket next door, another 5 min walk or paknsave a 5 min drive. Again I would like to thank the Inn for the last min booking for us to end our holiday on a high before we flew home ( Airport is a 15 min drive ) Highly recommend this place.

Nothing its close to the likes of Newmarket, Central Auckland the motorway and the airport, you can walk 2 mins to good food or 10 mins either way on main road to more places to eat.

The location was great! Close to a lot of shops, petrol stations and restaurants. Not too far from anything. The room itself was really spacious and comfy. The owner upgraded the room for free which I really appreciated. Beds were super comfy and I love the skylight in the bathroom! Shower is quite spacious as well and the water heated up quickly! (Which I’m not used to). Staff and owner were very friendly too. Will be coming back :)

If I could complain about anything, maybe the flight of stairs? There are multiple flights if you are put in the rooms upstairs. I personally didn’t mind being upstairs but that may be because I was only staying one night and didn’t have to haul multiple bags up there

The motel itself has been refurbished, the room are spacious, clean and well equipped and we found the staff very friendly. The place is easy to access with ample onsite parking in a very handy location.. After the Harbour View Cottage, this is our second best choice for a couple in this category of accommodation in central Auckland. You also have a good selection of nearby shopping, top quality supermarkets (Farro) as well as an eclectic range of restaurants (We recommend Nippon Japanese restaurant, Status the Vege edge) and cinema (The lido), all within walking distance... If you fancy a walk or a ride in Auckland best landmark park, One Tree Hill Domain is only 10 minutes away. Going to the races or Auckland showground, Alexandra park is literally across the road. Pushing the enveloppe too far... Greenlane hospital is 3 conveniently minutes away..... What else could you ask for?

Spacious room (#2), dining table, sofa, coffee table, bed, and still plenty space to move unobstructed and throw your luggage around 🙂 Had my reservations re. unruly tenants (emergency housing, etc), as I'd been here before with an acquaintance visiting a friend, and it was a circus. Noisy and a lot of clowns. Fortunately, I was informed by the manager, the owners closed down during covid, renovated, reopened, did away with the social housing, etc, now operating as a standard Motel minus the bs. With that in mind, the Motel in general, a very quiet place, recently renovated, tidy, peaceful. Grateful for the stay, thank you.

The room was very clean, fresh and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchenette was great. Having an ironing board and iron as well as a hair dryer is always appreciated. The front of house staff were very attentive checking in with me to see that everything was okay. The location was right next door the a Faro supermarket which made it easy to pick up supplies. Having brought my car it’s great to have free parking on site and it was a quick trip to the city. All and all a great stay and would recommend to others.

The room was a great size, warm and comfortable. Good off road parking and walking distance to a supermarket. Good location if you are travelling from out of town and have appointments at Greenlane Hospital. The staff let us park in their car park during our appointment and the hospital is a 10min walk away.

Just a couple of small things, the kitchen didn't have a toaster for breakfast and sadly part of the motel is been used for emergency housing.

We stayed in unit 4 which was ground floor and our car was only a few steps from our door. Spacious unit with two lounge chairs, table and 2 chairs plus functional kitchen. Small fridge and microwave and utensils for 2 provided. Beautiful bathroom with towel heating racks and demister mirror. Makeup remover washer as an extra to normal washer. Proximity to Cornwall Park and One Tree Hill and Observatory

The staff member I dealt with was very professional showed me to my room even gave me bigger better room then wot I had paid for out of good will , so pretty much free Room upgrade. Facilities were Awsome modern new equipped room Bed was comfy ,& Inside of Room Toilet / Bathroom very clean I can't fault the service & Facilities at Knights inn . 10/10 stars given def stay here again. Highly Recommend to others
