We were in Auckland to attend the caravan show at the Auckland Showgrounds so this motel was excellent for location as it was a short walk to the entrance gates and even shorter walk to many restaurants. We were most fortunate in being given a unit at the rear of the motel which was way back off the busy 4 lane road and so we heard no traffic noise at all. I also enjoyed a dip in the pool at the end of the day after attending the show. Very friendly staff also who promptly attended to a flashing fluorescent light in the bathroom.

The motel was a little jaded and could have done with a spruce up and a bit of a jazz up around the pool area as well. Whoever painted the internal walls needs some lessons in using masking tape and achieving a tidy job.

The room was a very good size, had all the facilities one would expect, and had lovely soft carpet.

There was nowhere to store clothing. What appeared to be a wardrobe was locked or stuck and I wasn’t able to open it. My biggest gripe was the curtains - lovely and thick but for some strange reason installed too far to the left. This left a sizeable gap on the right which I had to drape a towel over.

The location was excellent being so close to ASB showgrounds, the room was clean and very tidy with everything we needed. The pool was excellent and nice and refreshing and the staff were so accommodating and so lovely with us. Will definitely stay again and value for money too. Also across the street is supermarkets and restaurants - how good!

We stayed in their big rooms and had a great time, facility was great it had privacy and we didn't feel like the staff were watching us all the time. It is an older place in terms of the space, taps, bathroom, kitchen but if you are looking for a decent stay with family, I would highly recommend

Location to Race Course and Show Grounds. Large room with three balconies. Glass dome roof in bathroom. Air con amazing to cool room. Helpful staff who let me leave my car there the day I checked out. Cheap for room size but had everything, including a spa bath.

Loved how the rooms over looked the pool, and the location was great..

The beds weren't very comfortable, the pillows smelt, the extractor fan in the bathroom didn't really extract any of the steam and you could hear word for word conversations in the next rooms. The kitchen facilities could do with some tongs.

Perfect location for us to walk across the road to catch an event bus to Eden Park.

Sadly had a couple of other guests in another room just down from us at 1:30am ish were screaming, swearing and fighting outside in the pool court area. Nothing the hosts could control or knew about at that time.

Our host was welcoming, helpful and very friendly. He helped us organise our travel plans and printed out bus routes to help us get around Auckland so that we didn’t have to use our car. Our room was clean and comfortable with a small kitchen area with hob, microwave and fridge, perfect for a short stay.

The room we were in was quiet and had a small kitchenette so we had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make our stay as good as it could be.

It was a little ‘tired’, but to us that wasn’t a problem

I liked the set up of the room and how accommodating the staff were. The location wasn't bad either. The room itself was spacious, well equipped, clean, comfortable and the balcony was our favourites

I didn't like that the only way to the top was via stairs which can make it inconvenient when carrying luggage or needing to come and go or get things from the car but it was only a small thing
