Overall these are nice apartments that are very functional. The receptionists are very helpful and friendly. We had an issue with the lock on our door and she was very responsive helping us with the issue. She was also very helpful in letting us know how to access the parking garage.

The apartments are on a flight path from the airport, so we could hear aircraft flying overhead for much of the night / morning. Also, the hardware is older and a bit worn, so some of it doesn't work very well. For example, the lock on the door had a loose bolt and we needed help negotiating it. The older condition means the crooks and crannies are not as clean as a newer apartment.

Apartments were a good price. They were tidy and in great condition. Right across from the mall and all amenities within 100m. What was a real highlight were communications leading up and during the stay. All my emails were promptly replied. I had forgotten to book earlier check in times and or bag drop off and emailing early hours of the morning, before my flight I emailed and was replied to within minutes. Staff were friendly and professional. Very helpful. Something that is so important for stressed travellers.

That we had to leave. Could easily stay longer than the 2 nights we did.

Location, proximity to the subway/train station, proximity to the nearby walkable floor, a shopping mall, a "Dollar store" type store, a breakfast restaurant, and a yummy gluten-free pizza joint (Hells Pizza), and walkable to the northernmost pickup for the bus to Hobbiton (a must see if you ask me). The streets in the area were almost always deserted, which may be "normal", but was unusual for us. However, the surroundings seemed safe. The kitchen again was super small, but had a toaster, stove, refrigerator, and a dishwasher 'drawer'. Again, everything we needed.

While it had 2 bedrooms, it was very small, certainly by U.S. standards. The shower was more the size you'd see on a cruise ship, and the clothes washer, clothes dryer, toilet, sink, and shower were all in an efficient but small space. There was an unpleasant smell in the lobby on floor 5, apparently due to some guest shenanigans, but once the management became aware, they promptly took care of it. The 4/5 on Cleanliness and Facilities was due to the smell, which they addressed promptly once it was reported.

Close to all amenities and, the majority of the time, had a nice smell throughout the apartment complex. Comfy pillows and bedding were nice and clean. The non-stick frying pan and a good-sized fridge. The cleaning staff were very polite and accommodating to our needs.

The smell of cigarette smoke and we were on the tenth floor was really strong sometimes. The wifi connection was slow to non- existing. We had rooms on the tenth and twelfth floor, with the same issue. I guess also, the dripping from the air conditioning unit when it was annoying, especially at night, and sounded like a leaking tap.

Comfortable room with decent amenities. The washer and dryer were particularly useful for me. The location is very close to a bus station, which is served by intercity coaches, local bus routes and the airport shuttle. The range of complimentary toiletries, teas and cleaning products was great.

Aside from the bus & train station, the area isn't particularly friendly to anyone without a car. To get to local restaurants on foot, you end up walking through car parks and crossing traffic-heavy roads.

The accommodation was a 2 bedroom very comfortable and clean apartment.. Although the lounge was slightly small it did not feel crowded as there was an additional room with table and chairs and 2 x balconies. The beds were comfortable. Bonus of a washing machine and dryer. There was a kitchenette with all the necessities. The bathroom was nice and large. It was conveniently located next to a shopping centre but still lovely and quiet. There was secure on-site parking. The staff were lovely and very helpful. It was a quick drive to the airport. A great find and we highly recommend.

Everything was great.

It is conveniently located 40 minutes from the airport by Airport Link and 50 minutes by train to central Auckland. Staff allowed me to check in early, which gave me more time to plan my trip. There is a shopping mall and Pack 'n Save next door, so I was able to get food and souvenirs at a reasonable price. Washer and dryer, comfortable with everything we needed. We will use it again next time!

The frying pan was dirty with oil. The room faced the car park, so the noise was a little disturbing.

We like the Proximity. The location suits us really well. The staff are good. The facilities are usually very good. We like the place and we'll be back.

Wasn't as clean as it usually is. It is usually very clean. Not grubby just a couple of spots on sheets. There were also a lot of cars nearby with loud speakers broadcasting late at night. Not really anything that Proximity can do about it but I'm surprised that the duty staff don't call noise control.

Very clean and well equipped small studio with enclosed balcony. The bed is very comfortable. It has a small kitchen with full size small fridge, small dishwasher, pots and pan, Vittoria coffee maker, washing machine and dryer, iron and ironing board. Quiet when the glass doors are shut. The staff were lovely! Very friendly and helpful. Great location next to Westfield shopping centre and close to the airport.

The studio is on the small side with the only comfy option to sit on the bed. But this is really not an issue for short stays.

Our rooms were exactly what we needed for our little work holiday - and everything was just enough to let us feel safe and secure to settle in each night! A bonus was that our room was tidied during the day even without request!

Our key tag did not let us out of the basement car parking and we had to call and request an exit both days. The fan did not work in the bathroom of room 508 which was a little bit frustrating but nothing we couldn’t deal with.
