Very close to shops and heaps of car parking. Excellent staff.

Room was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. Location was great, not far from stores. Staff were friendly. Bathroom was lovely. It was nice and quiet, couldn’t hear anyone else during the whole stay. Just some things to be aware of: - all rooms are upstairs, you need to walk up a flight of stairs (there’s no lift) - in the room we were staying in, there is a microwave, mini fridge (with a small freezer) and tv - bond is $150 (I didn’t need to pay bond as long as I had a debit card for them to keep on file (they copied it) - wifi is great - there is no sink in the little kitchenette so we used the bathroom sink - there is a cupboard to hang clothes - no balcony but there were windows that could look out to the carpark - there is plenty of parking but it is shared with the businesses that surround the lodge so usually during the day, the carpark will be full but later on in the evening (after business hours) there will be plenty of space available

Not a major issue but for me, the pillows were too soft, I had to use a cushion under the pillow but this is more of a personal preference. My sister didn’t mind the softness

We’re a family of five and found this place to be a great fit for our needs. The room was clean and spacious enough for all of us, and the staff were really welcoming and accommodating. It’s nothing fancy - its clean and tidy, it had everything we needed - comfy beds, hot showers, and even a small kitchenette which made things easier with kids. Great value for the price, and the location was handy to shops and attractions. Would happily stay here again for a fuss-free family trip! Khanz over the road for dinner was also a highlight. Parking is shared with local businesses in a large carpark, at night we just moved our car closer to the accommodation, we felt our vehicle was secure with cameras on the lodge and on the neighboring business buildings.

The room was amazing. A really Big space & the bathroom was too. Very clean. Rooms were clean & tidied up every second day, staff were very respectful of personal items. The location was good too, we were only a 20-30min drive from most places that we wanted to goo, the area is very busy during the day, but still easy to navigate. Also outside smells amazing with all the different restaurants close by cooking

Probably only small issue was TV. There was a Tv though it only had Netflix & YouTube. No free tv channels or anything. But that’s very minor. Everything else was amazing

This was just what we needed for a one-night stay before catching an early flight. It was only about a 15 minute drive to the airport, the price was reasonable, and the room quality was great. The bathroom was huge and clean, and there was comfortable bedding for all 5 of us. It was quiet inside, and there were no weird smells. It's within walking distance to numerous restaurants, and there's plenty of free parking outside. Additionally, the receptionist was very helpful in getting us checked in, making sure we were comfortable and satisfied. If we ever need a place near the airport again, I'd be glad to stay here again.

The hotel doesn't have a "conventional" location or appearance from the outside, so initially it created a little apprehension on arrival. It felt like being in a "back alley", or mall parking lot. There were strong cooking smells outside from the nearby restaurants (which is the consequence of being next door to restaurants I guess. Lol!) But as I wrote above, once inside the hotel, all of that apprehension disappeared, because the room was clean and orderly, bathroom was lovely, staff were very helpful, etc. And to be honest, the location amongst all that "commerce" really is very convenient, if just a little unusual on arrival. Now that I know about that, I won't hesitate to book again.

Aircon was a hit, heated floor & toweling rack in bathroom, room was very spacious, location was good, close to all the amenities, friendly and helpful staff, appreciated the fridge/freezer.

Having to ask for a rubbish bin empty and requesting for clean towels, had to buy our own toilet paper, there's a TV but no access to channels, just Netflix & you tube, parking was hoha, climbing the stairs to get to our room, no info provided in the room about the Lodge services, the bathroom should have been swept.

Ease of booking. The checking in process was seamless & the receptionist was extremely helpful. Car parking was free. Plenty of eating places within minutes of the accommodation.

There were cars doing 'burnouts' in the large carpark next door during the night. It was ust a little further away from the airport than we are used to, but it was a last minute booking due to travelling to Auckland a day earlier for a next day flight because of predicted cyclone the next day.

Pleasant suprise once you open the door to the hallway on level 1. Hallways and Room were super clean and comfortable. Love all the little nature themed design elements. Well equipped. Location- easy walking distance to restaurants and shops, huge room and bathroom, there was more than enough space for the four of us in the room with 2x queen and 1 single. Excellent customer service.

More suggestions for improvements than dislikes. There was a leak in the bathroom sink- didn't affect us too much, but there was a small puddle on the tiled floor underneath the sink with every use, which we threw a towel over. There was no fan in the bathroom, although there was a dehumidifier in the room. Could use with a retractable line in the bathroom. Hard to locate turn with GPS.

Family room with two king sized doubles. A comfortable sleep. The bathroom was a good size with a large shower area. There was good pressure from those detachable style shower rose. They had Netflix, so I could finish watching my show! The proprietor helped me by carrying my 20kg suitcase up the stairs to our room. He then recommended three amazing local places for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! My sister and I will stay here again!

Easy check in, friendly helpful staff. excellent location, close to shops 2 min walk to the Papatoetoe night market and Hunters corner Plaza. Very clean room comfortable bed massive bathroom shower, Kitchenette nice. Definitely value for money, get a ground floor room.

The Public carpark is next door to the lodge, heaps of parking is available for cars. But not ideal for parking a transit passenger sized van.
