Second stay this year. Chosen because it's convenient to main bus routes, restaurants and supermarket/mall. Housekeeping and in-room facilities excellent especially the hairdrier, plus access to the laundry.

I was in Room 8, right at the front i.e. close to the road and with the access ramp to the cafe right under my window. The noise levels in this location were distressing along with inconsiderate door-slamming and restaurant furniture moving.

Convenient for my do and had the Friday night market across the road by the Hunters Plaza mall. Enjoyed Sky Sports to watch the NRL games over the weekend too, which was great. Great shower, was there for two nights. Like home away from home. Will definitely remember this place. The lady that checked me in had a very gracious manner. Made you feel welcome. Keep it up Kolmar !! You were recommended by a friend and they were definitely right 👍😘

I did like the property. Was great to be able to leave my car outside near my room. Thank you to the male manager in the laundromat, big ups. Staff were great in helping and super friendly !!

Arrived at 9.00pm and did not see a reception sign or even a Motel entrance sign till the morning when leaving, So basically the entrance is kinda unmarked at night, it’s an unlit sign high above the door. The entrance suggests that they are watching you and you need to wave to get their attention! But that’s just stupid security nonsense. Eventually spotted a phone number on the desk inside the window and got entry instructions, All sounds stupid afterwards but that’s what happens when you are tired and disoriented arriving at a new place, No milk in fridge, spotted the cream sashay later, TV turned off at wall behind the TV so took ages to get it to go as remote had no response. Easy things to improve

Location is great it's central to the Plaza for shopping, public transport close by. Plenty of eateries around. Staff were lovely, house keeping and cleanliness very good. Will definitely book again.

Shower door a bit small for plus size people - i know it's designed that way as there will be hardly any space for a door to open. The fixture about the toilet for towels was loose and half hanging off the wall in my room. The room does look bigger on the website but other than that it worked well and still was a nice space.

Excellent price point for somewhere close to the airport. About 10mins drive (in early morning traffic) from here to airport carpark. The room was compact but clean, and it was very quiet despite a busy restaurant next door. Good sound proofing, I think. The TV was very clear with lots of channels to choose from. I would stay here again.

We arrived at night time and the general area looked a bit…like the kind of place you might not like to walk around at night time on your own. I was a bit worried about parking our car in the carpark, which also seems to be a shopping carpark. It ended up being fine.

Very clean, Modernly decorated room, Smaller than looked in photos but very impressed with cleanliness and facilities. Great WiFi.

Air conditioner was noisy, especially on higher speeds, Chair base was loose and rocked a bit. No information book in the room so had to ask about checkout time, Glasses/Tea Coffee equipment was provided but no washing facilities other than bathroom sink so wasn't sure what I was supposed to do with used glasses/crockery. These all minor issues though and I would happily stay again!

Comfortable beds, daily housekeeping, free parking free internet. Restaurant and cafe next door which guess can access through hotel hallway The lady at the reception has been really helpful towards my family since day 1 has we have to extend our stay a few times for we have renovations getting done at home. I have never experience such a lovely person who takes pride in helping her guess feel welcomed no matter what. Everything is at arms reach across the road 5min walk to hunters plaza they have Woolworths(countdown) kmart(12am close) mini food court,chemist warehouse clothing shop, 2 degree phone store so much more,also my favorite lil orbits mini sugar donuts and every Friday night is night-market 5.30pm to 12am or till they sell out of food. 10mins to the airport.

Can here footsteps and banging sometimes people slamming doors when you swipe in front or back door. Parking can be a hassle sometimes restaurant is really busy different days share parking with hotel so first in first serve.

We arrived on a Friday night, so we're able to walk down to the Night Market at Hunters Plaza which was only a short 2 minute walk. I also read a review about someone getting cancelled for not arriving before 8pm so was worried we wouldn't make it on time traveling from Paihia, however I communicated this concern with the staff who were aware of our situation and told us just to call them if it looked like we would arrive later so they could make a plan for us.

There was bedding lying in the hall way outside of someone's room. Just looked messy. Would have loved another rubbish bin in the bathroom for sanitary items.

Rooms are very clean and tidy, beautiful decor and everything seems quite new. I arrived quite late but there was still someone at reception which was nice. There was a microwave, plates and cutlery etc.

Not really the rooms issue but was a bit worried about being right next to the entrance door to the hallway but it wasn't an issue. There was a family I think that were staying in seperate bedrooms and they kept knocking on each other's doors which was quite annoying as I trying to go to sleep because I had to get up at 4.30am for a flight. The Inn seems to be situated in an industrial area and at first I thought we were in the wrong place as it doesn't really look like a motel from the outside at night.

Perfect location. Surrounded by shops and even a shopping centre across the road. Very nice room. Clean and just right for a couple. Definitely coming back and highly recommended

The girl that was at the desk on Saturday morning 10th Feb was very snobby, not approachable. Not even a good morning or hi compared to the lady we first talked to when we arrived (beautiful Indian one). Suggestions: it would be nice to have a stool or a chair in the room to sit. Otherwise enjoyed our stay.
