The staff were so helpful and understanding. Unfortunately, we had an emergency, which led to us needing a room with them at the very last minute over public holidays - they were able to accommodate us and any of our visiting family easily; truly above and beyond service! We weren't sure how long we needed to stay, but again, they were absolutely lovely in helping us out in our very stressful time. The rooms were always kept very clean, the laundry facilities were great to have nearby, having kitchen essentials like a kettle, microwave, fridge, and the onsite parking fit everything we needed. The motel location was perfect for us as it was only a 4-minute drive or a 15-minute walk to Middlemore Hospital, and there were plenty of food options within the area. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay, and it made our situation much more pleasant. Thank you!

Middlemore Motel is an excellent place to stay! It has everything you need for a comfortable and convenient visit. The beds are cozy, the rooms are clean, and the staff are very accommodating. There's free parking,Wifi, a smart TV with Netflix and YouTube, and a full-sized shower with great water pressure. The kitchenette includes a fridge, electric pan, kettle, and complimentary tea, coffee, and sugar. The space is perfect for relaxing, and it's affordable, making it an ideal spot for families with kids. Highly recommend!

Close distance to family and friends. Iv lived in Auckland and this place was good value for money for a 5 night stay of 2 adults and 2 children and close to most of the planned activities. I prefer to clean and service my own room and they accommodated my request to not be disturbed. When I wanted to use the vaccume and get clean sets of llinen it was done in a quick manner. Guest laundry facilities avaliable onsite was a bonus. Will be staying again.

The property had everything we needed, fridge, microwave, kettle etc, even a washing machine and dryer was available

The room smelled a little off, like they did try to spray some sort of spray to disguise it but you could smell it. They missed the sign to make up our room so when we returned in the afternoon I had to ask the receptionist if we could get clean towels etc which she did do straight away. Nice lady. The next day they did give us clean towels while we were up but don’t make the bed up.

I just want to give a Huge Thank You to the Middlemore Motel Staff whom worked with me during my stay for my Mothers Tangi - She Passed Away at Middlemore Hospital so I had to booked an extra 4 Nights directly to be close to Mums. Thank you for allowing me to decide day to day whether I was coming or going and for all of the Early Check Ins and Late Check Outs. Thank you for my Favourite Unit there and for your Kindness towards me during my emotional experience. Your Cats are So Lovely too.

Parking is tight but not a big deal. Just Park like a Pro!

The bed was nice and big. Storage and space was really good since we travelled there to buy ALOT of big things, everything was able fit in the room.

The water ran ran cold 2 out of the 5 days we were there. Never happened at motels I’ve been too in Auckland. There was a used cotton bud and hair clip on the side of the bed. It’s also very noisy being close to the hospital but cars also, the same car was racing up and down the road every night we were there backfiring. It’s a great place for the money though.

Easy check in, friendly welcome, shower pressure was amazing. Beds super comfy. Cleanliness was great. Location was good and easy access to main rd (although very busy at peak hours) and plenty of food places nearby. Felt safe there and rooms were sound proof. I had my infant and toddler with us.

Nothing I could point out.

The shower was really good, room served its purpose for what I needed whilst visiting. Close to Middlemore, train station and few restaurants / takeaways near by. We'll maintained interior of room.

Pillows. Pillows could do with a change. Exterior can be off putting when you first drive in, but nothing a fresh coat of paint would change the appearance of the outside.

The room was excellent, nice and clean, comfortable bed, clean bathroom. All very nice.

Location is next to a noisy highway so there was a lot of traffic outside. In spite of that the room was surprisingly quiet but there was still some traffic noise

Modern & practical. Nicely decorated and presented. Loved the shower, mounted hair dryer and presence of the 2 motel cats.

I think another towel rail above existing one would be helpful also small one by sink for hand towel
