We recently stayed here while visiting Auckland with our kids and some friends, and overall it was a great experience. The location was perfect for where we needed to be, and having a car park right outside our door made things super convenient. Both rooms we booked were tidy and well-equipped, with clean, spacious bathrooms, we especially appreciated the excellent shower pressure and temperature. The kids found the single beds very comfortable, and the keycard entry with automatic locking was a great modern touch. While we did hear a bit of traffic noise, it wasn’t enough to disturb our sleep. The staff were friendly and very helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

On the downside, we found the double beds a bit too firm for our comfort, and a few extra blankets, especially for the kids would have been appreciated. One of the rooms (Room 15) could have used a more thorough dusting above the headboards and bedside lights. Our daughter, who has asthma, had a reaction and needed to switch to the other room (Room 16), which was fine so we suspect this may have just been an oversight in cleaning. Despite that, we felt it was a good, practical place to stay with children and friends, and we did enjoy our stay.

The staff were so helpful and understanding. Unfortunately, we had an emergency, which led to us needing a room with them at the very last minute over public holidays - they were able to accommodate us and any of our visiting family easily; truly above and beyond service! We weren't sure how long we needed to stay, but again, they were absolutely lovely in helping us out in our very stressful time. The rooms were always kept very clean, the laundry facilities were great to have nearby, having kitchen essentials like a kettle, microwave, fridge, and the onsite parking fit everything we needed. The motel location was perfect for us as it was only a 4-minute drive or a 15-minute walk to Middlemore Hospital, and there were plenty of food options within the area. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay, and it made our situation much more pleasant. Thank you!

Middlemore Motel is an excellent place to stay! It has everything you need for a comfortable and convenient visit. The beds are cozy, the rooms are clean, and the staff are very accommodating. There's free parking,Wifi, a smart TV with Netflix and YouTube, and a full-sized shower with great water pressure. The kitchenette includes a fridge, electric pan, kettle, and complimentary tea, coffee, and sugar. The space is perfect for relaxing, and it's affordable, making it an ideal spot for families with kids. Highly recommend!

Close distance to family and friends. Iv lived in Auckland and this place was good value for money for a 5 night stay of 2 adults and 2 children and close to most of the planned activities. I prefer to clean and service my own room and they accommodated my request to not be disturbed. When I wanted to use the vaccume and get clean sets of llinen it was done in a quick manner. Guest laundry facilities avaliable onsite was a bonus. Will be staying again.

Lovely and clean. Comfortable bed. Keybox at the front door is great for late arrivals.

Pillows too big. I think there is the potential to swap out two of the big pillows on each bed for less high and softer pillows. Separate shampoo and conditioner would be appreciated, not 2-in-1. Also some moisturiser bottles would be good. Also needed to provide an extra blanket for the other bed as it's been really cold.

Two adults and two children. Our motel room was clean and tidy, I have to say for the price of this room x̌ 1 night it was well worth it. The beds were super comfy, 1 x Queen, 2 x single. Kitchenette and bathroom very clean and modern, it smelled clean. Would definitely stay there again.

I think I would prefer a better lock on the back door, looked a bit flimsy but that was it, the room was great. 9/10 ☺️

The property had everything we needed, fridge, microwave, kettle etc, even a washing machine and dryer was available

The room smelled a little off, like they did try to spray some sort of spray to disguise it but you could smell it. They missed the sign to make up our room so when we returned in the afternoon I had to ask the receptionist if we could get clean towels etc which she did do straight away. Nice lady. The next day they did give us clean towels while we were up but don’t make the bed up.

I just want to give a Huge Thank You to the Middlemore Motel Staff whom worked with me during my stay for my Mothers Tangi - She Passed Away at Middlemore Hospital so I had to booked an extra 4 Nights directly to be close to Mums. Thank you for allowing me to decide day to day whether I was coming or going and for all of the Early Check Ins and Late Check Outs. Thank you for my Favourite Unit there and for your Kindness towards me during my emotional experience. Your Cats are So Lovely too.

Parking is tight but not a big deal. Just Park like a Pro!

We appreciate the proximity from the middlemore hospital and from shops in the nearby area. Carpark was in front of the unit with plenty of space.The beds were soft and comfortable. The unit was very clean, stylish, and fresh. The bathroom shower has great water pressure, and the towels are fluffy and soft. We could hear the traffic at certain times, but it didn't bother us too much.

We love everything about the room we rented. The beds were comfortable; the kitchen was lovely it had everything we needed. The shower was great. The location was so much near where we went for our church meeting on the weekend.

Nothing, it was all we wanted to have. very warm at night. the room was secured, and it was wonderful.
