We recently stayed here while visiting Auckland with our kids and some friends, and overall it was a great experience. The location was perfect for where we needed to be, and having a car park right outside our door made things super convenient. Both rooms we booked were tidy and well-equipped, with clean, spacious bathrooms, we especially appreciated the excellent shower pressure and temperature. The kids found the single beds very comfortable, and the keycard entry with automatic locking was a great modern touch. While we did hear a bit of traffic noise, it wasn’t enough to disturb our sleep. The staff were friendly and very helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

On the downside, we found the double beds a bit too firm for our comfort, and a few extra blankets, especially for the kids would have been appreciated. One of the rooms (Room 15) could have used a more thorough dusting above the headboards and bedside lights. Our daughter, who has asthma, had a reaction and needed to switch to the other room (Room 16), which was fine so we suspect this may have just been an oversight in cleaning. Despite that, we felt it was a good, practical place to stay with children and friends, and we did enjoy our stay.

The staff were so helpful and understanding. Unfortunately, we had an emergency, which led to us needing a room with them at the very last minute over public holidays - they were able to accommodate us and any of our visiting family easily; truly above and beyond service! We weren't sure how long we needed to stay, but again, they were absolutely lovely in helping us out in our very stressful time. The rooms were always kept very clean, the laundry facilities were great to have nearby, having kitchen essentials like a kettle, microwave, fridge, and the onsite parking fit everything we needed. The motel location was perfect for us as it was only a 4-minute drive or a 15-minute walk to Middlemore Hospital, and there were plenty of food options within the area. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay, and it made our situation much more pleasant. Thank you!

Middlemore Motel is an excellent place to stay! It has everything you need for a comfortable and convenient visit. The beds are cozy, the rooms are clean, and the staff are very accommodating. There's free parking,Wifi, a smart TV with Netflix and YouTube, and a full-sized shower with great water pressure. The kitchenette includes a fridge, electric pan, kettle, and complimentary tea, coffee, and sugar. The space is perfect for relaxing, and it's affordable, making it an ideal spot for families with kids. Highly recommend!

Close distance to family and friends. Iv lived in Auckland and this place was good value for money for a 5 night stay of 2 adults and 2 children and close to most of the planned activities. I prefer to clean and service my own room and they accommodated my request to not be disturbed. When I wanted to use the vaccume and get clean sets of llinen it was done in a quick manner. Guest laundry facilities avaliable onsite was a bonus. Will be staying again.

The property had everything we needed, fridge, microwave, kettle etc, even a washing machine and dryer was available

The room smelled a little off, like they did try to spray some sort of spray to disguise it but you could smell it. They missed the sign to make up our room so when we returned in the afternoon I had to ask the receptionist if we could get clean towels etc which she did do straight away. Nice lady. The next day they did give us clean towels while we were up but don’t make the bed up.

I just want to give a Huge Thank You to the Middlemore Motel Staff whom worked with me during my stay for my Mothers Tangi - She Passed Away at Middlemore Hospital so I had to booked an extra 4 Nights directly to be close to Mums. Thank you for allowing me to decide day to day whether I was coming or going and for all of the Early Check Ins and Late Check Outs. Thank you for my Favourite Unit there and for your Kindness towards me during my emotional experience. Your Cats are So Lovely too.

Parking is tight but not a big deal. Just Park like a Pro!

Great last minute deal was excellent value. No fuss quick and easy check in. Walking distance to Middlemore Hospital and Train station. Burger King, Maccas, are just two of the many different types of fast food outlets to choose from that are 1min drive away from motel.

NO dislikes about my stay at Middlemore Motel. Highly recommend as last minute deal.

The room was clean and had everything I needed. Laundry facilities on site was perfect. The instructions in the room were helpful when using the wifi and aircon. Rosie was very courteous and responsive

The bed was too soft and may not be suitable for people with back issues.

Big room, very clean and equipped with everything I needed. Super friendly staff. Easily arranged for check out to be an hour later, thank you! Location is conveniently close to the airport.

Only thing was the busy road being a bit noisy at night. So bring some earplugs if you're a light sleeper like me.

The bed was nice and big. Storage and space was really good since we travelled there to buy ALOT of big things, everything was able fit in the room.

The water ran ran cold 2 out of the 5 days we were there. Never happened at motels I’ve been too in Auckland. There was a used cotton bud and hair clip on the side of the bed. It’s also very noisy being close to the hospital but cars also, the same car was racing up and down the road every night we were there backfiring. It’s a great place for the money though.
