The room was newly decorated and of a high quality (motel was recently impacted by extreme weather and flooding). The bed was warm and comfortable. Late check-in worked smoothly. Staff were friendly and very helpful, giving us a shuttle to the airport when we were ready in the morning, and earlier than the published time of 9am.

This is an issue with airport taxis, not the motel: We arrived at Auckland at 7:30pm and had to make our own way to the Motel as the shuttle had stopped, which we knew. Taxi drivers at airport were unhelpful and did not want to take us as it was a short trip, making a 5-10 minute journey take 45 minutes. A taxi driver directed us to the 38 bus, but as the bus didn't go past the motel and it was dark, the bus driver was worried about our safety so he took us to Mangere City Centre where we had to get the 36 bus that dropped us opposite the motel. Shout out to the bus company and drivers as neither would accept payment from us and the bus stop at the centre was a well lit location and bus company staff were present and very helpful.

It was nice and clean and staff were amazing. Huge thank you for ringing us when our miss 6 left her shoes in the room.

Photo's made the room look bigger than it actually was on the ground floor. Not really an issue that can be controlled but 5am in the morning someone in the next room was having a tantrum up and down the stairs and banging on the wall which freaked out our children who were woken, it was so loud they thought it was one of us adults had fallen on the stairs and was banging for help. Please note non of the above would put us off staying again the staff are awesome which weighs out niggly things by far.

The room was surprisingly spacious, very clean and so relaxing which is what you need after some long days. Comfy beds and the air conditioning countered the hot days in Auckland! Handy location as it was only a hop, skip and jump away from the airport! Good service at reception and the lady who served me was welcoming and attentive! Fresh milk was ready in the fridge for us everyday for the many cups of tea/coffee/hot chocolate needed. Big bath towels and ample free parking which was awesome. It was also a bonus that we were able to have side by side rooms for my family. Value for money for sure!

We were not informed beforehand of roofers/ workmen doing very noisy work before 9.00am on our last day before we checked out at 10.00am which killed the relaxing vibe in our last couple of hours which was unfortunate.

Great sized room & at a great price! Clean, tidy and had everything we (my toddler and I) needed for a comfy two night stay. Our room was cleaned & replenished even after one night which was great! Close to the airport and Mangere township is only a short five minute drive away. Free parking available right outside our room. Easy enough to check in, did not meet reception at all as keys were left in a small locker and locker access details were emailed to me prior to arrival. Would stay again - thank you!

Not even worth mentioning really but room smelt slightly musty on arrival and few stains in the carpet. No biggies at all & didn't affect our stay.

Check-in was smooth and professional. Big welcoming smile from the Concierge. Parking was right outside the door to the room. Super handy. There's a laundry room if you want to wash n dry clothes. Carpark was clean, no trash. No road noise even though you're on a main road. Rooms are very clean and set up for 4 people. Beds are comfortable, shower runs hot, and the HVAC blows cold. Easy to get to from the motorway, and the town Centre for any shopping is only 5 mins away. The neighbours across the road are dead quiet.

Minor stuff really, nothing that's a deal breaker. Some little tubes of toothpaste would be a nice touch. The sort that have the little plastic toothbrush kinda thing. Some dishwashing liquid would also be helpful. A couple sachets of that would be a nice touch too. I like to wash my dishes; it's a personal thing. The toilet needs to be siliconed down. Nothing more disturbing than a toilet that moves more than you do...lol😂

We stayed here after international flight and waiting for domestic flight the next morning. It was far superior to any other airport accommodation we have stayed in was clean and the beds are very comfortable. We had three in our room and it worked very well. Great staff were very accommodating and communicated well And we got a free shuttle to the airport in the morning at 10 am.Shower great. Linen great and will definitely stay there again if we need an airport stopover over. Only five minutes from the airport and $12 for an Uber to get there Thank you so much.

The property was perfect for our group. It had all the amenities we needed & it was the perfect place for space when we wanted our own time. The staff 100%.

There wasn’t much. I think for future reference maybe state that the facility requires noise levels to be at a certain level at certain times. We had a large group who’s music was too loud or our voices, or the laughing. It became a bit ridiculous really especially at a decent time like 6pm! Annoying. We didn’t have breakfast either which was a bummer, no communication on how we were to receive it. Howeverrrr, at the end of the day it is a flight stay or stopover so we did accomodate but realistically albeit the above we did get a few warnings overturned which we are grateful for.

I had a comfortable stay in the 1-bedroom apartment at Auckland Airport Motel. The beds were cozy, and the apartment had everything needed, like a fridge, microwave, TV, and kettle. The two-story layout was convenient, with an open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area downstairs, including a single bed, fold-out couch, and bathroom. Upstairs had a bedroom with a queen and single bed, plus air conditioning on both levels. Love the front entry sliding lock as its kid friendly and door cannot be opened without a push of a exit button (Well done) The onsite laundry and free parking were also great perks. Overall, a fantastic option for a convenient airport stay. Location is close to the beach, mangere mountain for nature walks and so many food store, grocery stores too

The only drawback i could think of was the TV had only basic Sky cable rather than a smart TV, so streaming shows online wasn't possible. There were also no cooking facilities, and the toilet and shower were very close together, which may not suit everyone. Despite these, the apartment accommodated my family of four well and provided good comfort and convenience overall.

It's such a good feeling walking into a beautiful tidy room with a looking fresh sheets beds every day. The location was convenient for the laundromat and shops and the airport. Convinient to the Mangere Bridge Shopping Center. It is useful for anyone who is looking for 1 week of accommodation dealing with tertiary students with scholarship offers at MIT and the University of Auckland. The only thing that was missing was an iron. I couldn't find an iron to iron my shirt quickly. Thank you for having us.

Very short layover stay. I loved the efficiency attempts such as the lock boxes, the electronic doors and bins, but the lock boxes need to be more user friendly. They're fiddly. The combination ones are easier and sturdier. Also the bins needs batteries to work, which is why I just removed the lid entirely. However I love that you're trying that! Otherwise very comfortable short stay and efficient cheery reception staff and airport shuttle. It would be great to know shuttle times in advance, but still worked out fine.
