Breakfast was superb

The short distance from the airport. Parking was available for a nominal fee which was very good for me. They have a very good restaurant for evening dinners and a decent breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. It is in an industrial area but still the views from the hotel were good.

Nothing to do with the hotel per se, but if you are looking to eat out or you need the pharmacy, there are no facilities nearby as in by foot. But then are some within a 1-2 km distance. Uber is readily available and cheap, if you do not have a car.

Close to airport, great prices, has great amenities (pool, gym, restaurant). We enjoy the Sudima and it is always one of the top choices for stays in Auckland.

There was some confusion about our second room not being ready (it was after 3pm) and then we find out it was another room which was ready. The use of the welcome info and restaurant menus (sometimes you were unable to access these, or would be updated in such time when stating 24 hours). Couldn’t pay for parking from your room or the app. You had to go downstairs which I had to do the following day because it was too late prior and my baby was asleep.

We checked in very late around 1.30am and the staff were still friendly and wonderfully helpful. We were hopeful to get a few hours of decent sleep before continuing on the rest of our journey and that was easily achieved in comfortable beds, added bonus the room had blackout curtains & there didn't appear to be much noise pollution from other rooms but I am not sure how occupied the hotel was at the time of our stay.

Having to pay extra to park my car at the hotel (it is free out on the street by the way). We fell for the trap of paying for the buffet breakfast for 'convenience sake' but of course couldn't eat enough to make it worth the price. Quality of the food was ok though

This hotel is clean and modern. The staff were polite and professional. There is a gym and a pool and a bar and restaurant. It is basically what you would expect from a decent modern hotel anywhere in the world. We took a taxi to the Manawa Bay mall but would have been cheaper to get shuttle busses. We liked the robot, it was cute!

The location is only really good for access to the airport via shuttle bus. There is nowhere else of interest nearby to visit or to eat out. The restaurant was pretty pricey and it would be nice if there were some simple options available.

A booklet hard copy explaining everything is an absolute must rather than just relying on the TV screen - we could not work out the scan process which was incredibly frustrating. Relying on IT 100% is a shocking strategy.

As described above. Everything and the pool and staff were excellent

the breakfast was decent although not as good as in Kaikoura in the same hotel, relatively close to the airport but had to take the yellow shuttle bus. The pool was nice too although very slippy around which wasn't great for kids.

it seemed like we got a lot of no's from the staff - for example asking if we could get some bread for kids that were starving and couldn't wait for the dinner to be made. I find it hard to believe there was no bread in the kitchen. There were no robes/slippers in the room so it was a bit awkward walking around in a swimsuit. The location also wasn't ideal - I'd probably go with Novotel just outside of terminal the next time.

Close to the airport. Efficient staff at reception. Good sized room. Clean. Google Alexa was fun and very helpful in our room. Chromecast tv good. Swimming pool, internal and heated was great to have along with gym Restaurant was good though expensive.. parking on site.

The room was musty smelling. The air conditioning was locked and we could not adjust to our needs which is not acceptable as when you book a room it should be to your comfort as you are paying for it. 😡. This meant I could not do anything to eliminate the smell. Which is not good when you have allergies.

Comfortable rooms, very efficient room service! good shuttle bus system (8 NZD each way). We also had a relative visit us for the evening, and there was space to catch up. The sustainability initiatives at this hotel were great - refillable toiletries, separated waste for recycling and milk that was delivered in little glass bottles. This always makes our stay more enjoyable and earns an extra star!

There was confusion on the night about what food was available, given there was a food festival in the restaurant.

We stayed in a premium king room which was very comfortable and well appointed. Bed and pillows very comfortable. The insulation and triple glazing resulted in a quiet room despite its proximity to busy roads and the airport. We always book the Sudima Airport because of the great restaurant there. It is amazing to find an airport hotel anywhere in the world which has a good restaurant serving interesting, delicious food sourced locally with a good local wine list. Most airport hotels offer the standard awful prefab, reheated pizzas, burgers and chips. It was so nice to once again finish our holiday in NZ with a lovely meal and glass of wine.
