Nice warm room, good internet

As a smoker being made to smoke out by the front door felt a little like we were being put on display, why cant we just smoke away from the building? Ordered a Chicken schnitzel on a Friday night at 6.00pm and was told they were out of stock

Our stay at Holiday Inn Auckland Airport was nothing short of amazing! The environment was peaceful, family-friendly, and surrounded by greenery. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The bathtub was a great addition, providing the perfect way for our family to unwind and relax. The quality of the products was excellent. We also loved the free parking right next to our room, and the gym was well-equipped. The pool was pleasant, though a bit cold. One extra star goes to the pillows—each of us had two, and the pillowcases were embroidered with "Firm" or "Soft." It was an incredible touch to ensure everyone’s comfort. We were impressed with the luggage scale at the entrance and the efficient check-out process. When my son accidentally left his ring at the pool, we called after we had already left for Hamilton and Rotorua. The staff had kept the ring safe and were happy to hold it for us until we could pick it up. The toilets near the entrance were spacious and spotless, and the indoor garden area was simply beautiful and calming. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return!

Close to airport with regular bus service to accommodation, front of house staff was very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable with plenty. Rooms were relatively clean though several marks were on carpet. Complex facilities were great both gym and pool areas were clean and easy to access. Room service was delivered early with a large variety of options. Offer luggage storage and scales for weighing luggage at reception area.

Room service breakfast items weren't the same as ordered on the menu. Only requested one serving of Croisants/muffin/cinnamon scroll yet was provided two lots and charged for these only noticed once i opened the dishes up.

This is a little oasis in the middle of a very busy area. We had a downstairs King room with its own little garden outside area near the pool. It was very quiet and it suited us with our car hire return one minute away and the airport close. There is a regular bus if needed . We took half board which was good value for the money and enjoyed our stay.

For us the buffet dinner was not quite what we like to eat, but we noticed the bar food was freshly cooked. Breakfast was good and the fresh eggs were excellent. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and the whole hotel had a nice atmosphere.

I chose this hotel as it had a swimming pool and I figured I might want a swim. Pool was good and grounds have a resort feel. Pool towels at reception but wasn’t obvious to ask for them. A relaxing place to stay before a flight. Is also on the Yellow bus route so getting to and from the airport is easy.

Staff a front counter didn’t seem very well informed about room service options. No room info but apparently this was accessible via the TV screen but this wasn’t obvious. No lift to the 2nd floor - this was ok for me (and is mentioned) but best to be aware of this.

Lush garden that makes your forget you are near the airport Nice little swimming pool Excellent breakfast buffet Lovely staff Super long corridors going around the property - a favorite of our 1.5 year-old who loved walking around endlessly! Neat little gym open 24/7 - nothing fancy but has all the basic equipment. The shuttle bus to the airport costs 8$ per adult and the service was great and easy! Large and nice bathtub. The nightlight in the bathroom is a nice touch.

Took a while to get pool towels while the kids were feeling cold, even though we had told the staff twice they were out of towels. Something just to plan better in the future, make sure since the pool is not heated that towels are always available. A few crumbs under the armchair - not a deal breaker, but tricky with a baby who likes to explore what’s on the floor. The shower head would not hold in place, which was annoying but my partner put some tape and made it hold in place no worries.

Unfortunately there was a mix up with rooms, I had booked a twin room, two beds, with balcony. rang to confirm and also queried bond payment. Was told $200 bond over the phone and room was confirmed. 👍🏽 I get there to find they had actually overbooked, I didn’t have the room I originally booked, they had to bring in a sofa bed and initially the other room did not have a balcony. After speaking with a lovely receptionist, she managed to put us in a room with a balcony, and assured us the sofa bed was comfy (which it was) she apologised for the mix up however other than that everything was great and I will add, the lady I spoke to at the reception was a huge help and greatly apologetic, I understand this was not her fault however.

The receptionist was very welcoming and friendly (loved the huge fishtank behind them in the wall). Comfortable clean rooms. The buffet looked small but was good with continually changing food options and great price. The lounge bar atmosphere was lovely, had different options of seating and kid friendly. There is plenty of parking, which is great. Close to the airport. Would definitely stay here again when flying in and out of Aotearoa. I chose to stay here due to the feedback rating.

Hallways were a bit dated and carpet stained. Alcoholic drinks were near club prices. 3 adults and 1 child stayed and were only 3 towels in the room.

I booked online from the airport when my evening flight was cancelled. It was a very stressful experience but the hotel staff were lovely and really helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and room service food good

The shower inside the bathtub was a little difficult for me to navigate. Room service didn't answer the phone and I had to walk a long way back from my room to the restaurant to order food. The price was higher than initially quoted on the booking.com website which might be problematic getting reimbursement from the airline but by the time I was able to secure a room I was too exhausted to change my booking.

- Amazing customer service from ALL staff - Clean, comfortable, and well-equipped rooms - Great shower pressure - A lovely pool for the kids and their dad! Highly recommend for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

Two areas for improvement: - The air conditioning could be more effective, especially on warm nights. We had to leave the balcony doors open, which let in a few mosquitoes. - Additional signage is needed in the pool area, where the depth drops off suddenly. We witnessed another family's close call and were fortunate to be there to assist.
