The most cute cottage we have ever seen, and all to ourselves! Tons of off street parking, we felt very safe and secure the whole time, and could not believe how quiet it was! Everywhere we wanted to visit was only five to ten minutes away, so central and yet so peaceful. The Hosts were the most welcoming we had ever met, tons of tips and ideas of where to go, and could not have been more helpful.

The stairs are a little steep, but they made up a huge bed for me downstairs, and my daughter loved having all of the upstairs bedroom all to herself!

A quaint cottage beautifully decorated. Very comfortable with everything we needed while we (a couple) were on a 2 night lay over, visiting family in Auckland. A very central property, handy to airport and motorways, located in a quiet neighbourhood with great shopping nearby. Christian (our host) was quick to sort out some booking issues upon our arrival and we enjoyed immensely, the company of Marlon Brando the cat. Would return again.

The property was exceptionally clean and tidy, making it perfect for my wife, our daughter, and me. We especially appreciated the attention to detail in preserving the heritage style of the accommodation while ensuring it was practical and well-equipped with modern conveniences for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Additionally, our on-site host was incredibly accommodating and attentive.

Very quaint cottage with every amenity one would need for a comfortable stay. Good location. Easy access to shops and parks. Mostly, great hosts! Olivia and Christian definitely went out of their way to make things easier and more comfortable for us. Thank you!

Not much. Initially, just the parking in the street made it very difficult with a little one and all our luggage. But the hosts accommodated us soon thereafter. The shower head needs a little more pressure for water to run out of all the outlets in the head, but not really something to complain about.

Beautiful cottage.

Parking having to carry bags up stairs. Lots of cobwebs inside. Got attacked by a random dog when walking up the road - nothing to do with property but if you are staying with a pet - recommend driving somewhere for a walk!

This cottage is very well equipped. It was extremely neat and tidy on arrival. Furniture and fixtures all looked recent. Received a friendly greeting from the host on check-in. This cottage shares a residential lot with the family home of the hosts. The grounds are beautifully maintained. The master bedroom is an open loft that requires ascending a step staircase. It's lovely but you need to be able-bodied.

Resented paying $10/night for parking. This is a residential site that pretty much requires a car. It's not like they had build a special car park. There was a strong sewer smell in the bathroom likely caused by little use of the plumbing in recent days. Disappeared when the sinks, shower and washing machine were run to fill up the traps.

Charming cottage with easy access to shopping and public transport in a quiet older neighborhood. A wonderfully peaceful retreat between more action packed adventures .

I loved it all.

The property has a cosy nautical feel with a lot of quirky statement pieces, I loved the comfy swing sofa chair on the balcony over looking the beautiful garden with the city lights in the background. The property has sensor lights to light your way up to the cottage when returning back late at night. Well equiped kitchen, loved the fact it had a washing machine and dryer/washing line available. Bathroom was immaculate with great products and a twin shower head (handheld and rain) which has great pressure. Lovely and friendly people whom had great recommendations of restaurants and advice on seeing the city.

No negatives at all - things to take into consideration... there is a ladder to climb up to the bed and you will need to climb down to use the bathroom, the single lane one way in and out driveway to get to the parking spot, the street to get into the driveway has many cars parked on one side of the street however was a quiet street with very minimal cars using it and lastly check out is 9:30 - 9:45 am

The cottage was delightful. Really tasteful and quaint and very well equipped. Our hosts and their family were lovely. Breakfast was really good. The location was great with One Tree Hill and the harbour reserve both within walking distance. We didn’t go into Central Auckland but the buses went from the mall (5 minutes walk away) into the centre every 15 minutes. Overall a brilliant place to stay.

Christian sorted out the confusion over the free breakfast and supplied just what we needed. The place was also very clean.

It's very small, which made accessing things in our cases hard.
