Such a great hotel! Super friendly staff who greeted you anytime you left or came back. Included breakfast is what sealed the deal for us, and it was great! Room was large and had cooking facilities if you wanted. Ground floor room meant we had a patio as well. Having recordable sky TV was a great bonus, meant we could set some movies up to record, to watch when we got back. Is in walking distance of a Woolworths supermarket and a McDonald's. It is on a little bit of a hill though! Can also easily walk to ASB showgrounds.

Wish breakfast went until 10, instead of 9. Shower water pressure wasn't great so rather than spraying it dribbled. Not at all accessibility friendly, LOTS of stairs.

The room was fine but the employees are great! We first arrived early, not to check in, but to just find out where the hotel was. I popped into the office to see if they had brochures for sightseeing. Sami greeted me and was very helpful in suggesting a few places to check out nearby while we waited till we could check in. She also was kind enough to suggest for us to leave our luggage while we wandered around. When we got back for check in, Biprash was on duty. He had carried our HEAVY luggage to our room on the third floor while we were gone. They were all so nice and so helpful during our stay! If that wasn't enough, the free breakfast was totally worth it - eggs, sausage/bacon, mushrooms, hash browns, pastries, pancakes, cereal, juice, fruit, yogurt, coffee - wow! Great way to start the day. Tried to stay there on our last day since it was just 16km (10 miles) from the airport but it was totally sold out.

Nothing.

The room was spacious... actually. It was huge! It had all amenities that you needed, and the bed was really comfortable. The buffet breakfast was great and is one of the resaons why we stay here. Not many smaller Motels, in Auckland. Offer this to their Customers. The spread of food is just what you need. To get you started for the day! We had an on-site carpark. Which was extremely handy as car parks in the area are sparse. Location was ideal. As you could get around Auckland, really easily.

Just a couple to mention. The microwave oven was quite dirty and had splattered food, from a previous tennant. We had to wipe the microwave out, properly. Before we could use it. Also, when we wanted our room serviced on day 2. The bed wasn't made properly. Actually. It was terrible. It was like the sheets had just been pulled up and that was it. There were lumps all over the bed. But we still enjoyed our stay.

Handy location off Great South Road. We had two rooms, one twin room on the ground floor ( 1 x king; 1 x single); and a king room ( superking bed). Both were nice ( King seemed marginally nicer, maybe because there was more space for a bit more lounge furniture?), a few sets of stairs and doors to negotiate to get to the upper floors. Great, clean rooms with very good facilities included - tea and coffee sachets, toiletries. Nice modern furniture, plenty of lights and powerpoints. Breakfast buffet included in the room price was an excellent bonus, with lots of variety, including hot food and continental style options. Friendly staff.

Not so good for my elderly parents as even the ground floor rooms require some negotiating of stairs. Minimum of two sets of 4-5 stairs to get into their room ( twin room on the ground floor); more to get to the restaurant.

The Friday reception manager was amazing! I had confused my booking and he was so kind to help my family and I to sort it out. Very friendly and patient. Everyone I met was lovely, kitchen staff, cleaners. I included breakfast during my stay. It was so delicious! Fresh fruit, fresh pastries - Yummm!!!! We enjoyed it very much. The bed was the best I have slept on in any accommodation! I want that mattress at home!

You could hear the people upstairs thumping around. Not overly bad but I would book the upper level next time.

10/10 - this place was fantastic, from arriving in Auckland and finding we had unknowingly booked substandard accommodation we found this place after a very quick booking.com search, was close to where we needed to be and a way out if our original booking. We arrived to be greeted by friendly staff who helped carry bags up the stairs, walked into a lovely clean, warm room. All the way through the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. This place is definitely made by the staff - and to top it all off the breakfast was fantastic. Really could not ask for more!

The guy on reception was just lovely. Stayed in Room 101, The Twin. My husband recently had back surgery and needs to stretch out in bed. Both beds were comfy. Room is an excellent size, very clean and well soundproofed. Really liked how the air-conditioning unit did not blow directly onto the bed as it does in many motel rooms. Had everything we needed.

Shower door very narrow and shower itself a bit small. Be aware of this if you're a bigger person. The shower pressure was good.

Beautiful room with lovely mini kitchen very comfy bed and the breakfast was amazing. lovely welcoming reception and very attentive breakfast staff, will definitely stay more when in Auckland.

Sadly itss probably my own fault for not requesting a disabled room, My room on the 2nd floor was right down the end, and for a double amputees with prosthetics it was a hell of a mission to get my bags up the stairs from reception and then down 2 more sets of stairs was rather painful, i dont know if reception noticed when i came in as i was wearing shorts. next time ill ask for a ground floor disabled room

The rooms were quite large and had all amenities, available for us to use. The buffet breakfast was so worth it. We loved it! Perfect hash browns. We are suckers for good hash browns lol. The Staff were so friendly and always asked us if we were ok or if we needed anything. Well done Team 😊

We didn’t see an option for a lift onsite. Which made it difficult to carry our heavy luggage up the stairs wells. Which could pose an issue with some Customers. This wasn’t a show stopper though. We still loved the place.

Spacious room for 3 adults. Beds were very comfortable. Room and bathroom were clean and well set-up. Staff were helpful and responsive to requests, No traffic noise. Good location, walking distance (20 - 30 mins) to Newmarket restaurants etc., though probably some are closer going the other way along Great South Road. About 30 min Uber to Auckland Airport. There was a fantastic, full buffet breakfast in the morning, which was more than what we expected. We only stayed one night before flying back to Australia early next morning, so unfortunately, we had to rush breakfast!

Nothing really, except perhaps the lighting in the main room could have been brighter.
