Everything I needed to make my solo overnight very comfortable. I know this may be simple, but the iron got the wrinkles out of my shirt easily. Yes, the price was a big attraction. But it was the smallest details, like the bus shuttle pick up from domestic and return trip to the international terminal for an early morning flight that made me consider this hotel. Especially since I was travelling on crutches.

The generator/heat pump outside the room was very loud. The fridge, it felt like the whole unit was going to come out of the frame when you opened the door, so you had to make sure the door closed firmly.

The restaurant was downstairs & breakfast was good 👍We hired a car from next door, "Kiwi Car Hire" & left the car keys at the Hotel Reception & used the hotels free bus service that runs every 30mins. Stress free from returning the car! Excellent service idea from both the rental car&hotel. The staff is so friendly & very helpful! The rooms & sheets are very fresh&clean! The family room is big & spacious then what the picture showed. The beds are comfy & you can see where your cars parked. TOTALLY stay here again!

We had the family room & the shower was mouldy. Maybe use the "Mould Removal" spray. And the bathwash & conditioner/shampoo dispenser was empty. Thank goodness we had our own. Overall, everything else was sparkling clean. Ps.. the switch on button for the jug doesn't stay down. I had to hold it down until it stays down. It's a well used jug that needs to be thrown out.

Shuttle service to and from the hotel very useful. Dinner and breakfast can be obtained at the hotel. Staff were friendly. Bed was comfy. Shower was good.

No milk for tea in the rooms. In my opinion a sachet of creamer doesn’t count as milk and being able to make a cup of tea or coffee in your room is a basic essential in a decent hotel to me. No separate conditioner in the showers. “Conditioning shampoo”. I had the lamb for dinner and it was burnt. Instructions on WiFi and how breakfast and dinner operates in the bedroom not just at reception would be nice.

Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Good shower and comfy lounge suit. Good value. Really liked being able to catch the Yellow Bus to get there.

Having to lug suitcase up steps to second floor. The restaurant meals were OK but a little odd. We specifically asked for big kiwi breakfast and the photo showed poached eggs, bacon etc... but when it arrived there was a scrambled egg I couldn't eat as made with milk and a small random dish of baked beans in the middle, tinned mushrooms etc... Nothing like the photo or any other big kiwi breakfast I've had.

I admit to being a bit dubious about staying at Auckland Airport Kiwi Hotel because it was so cheap compared to other places, but I ended up being really impressed for the following reasons: Excellent value for money. Reception open 24hrs. Friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant on site. Buffet breakfast 7-9.30am. Room and bathroom clean and roomy. Easy onsite car parking.

There is no lift/elevator, so if your room is on the second floor you have to heave your heavy bags up the stairs. That is the only negative thing. Everything else was very good.

The room and comfort reminded me of a Holiday Inn, without the expense. So I was very surprised by the room itself. The front desk staff were also really friendly, and having the shuttle to the airport available at 2AM was a hug plus. So overall great stay!

The lighting in the bathroom was very dim (especially over the toilet) - I do think the bathrooms themselves may be in need of a upgrade (just looking a bit old), and our waiter in the restaurant was not very friendly or welcoming.

On arrival staff great and very supportive. Had no lift on property to cart our luggage upstairs so staff suggested a downstairs accom which we accepted. Following morning we were offered tkts to the airport to collect a passenger. We returned and arrived in time for breakfast at the accom.

Everything we needed was at our finger tips. Restaurant staff quiet but polite. We did manage to understand his limited english.

Great price & good location. Included pick up & drop off price to airport via hotel bus services. Bus stop across the road for public transport. Rooms were well serviced & very clean. Guest laundry @ fair price. Restaurant had good selection @ very reasonable prices with a daily chefs special & good service. Continental breakfast was included with the option to upgrade. English-speaking staff that were very friendly & professional.

Older hotel. Very comfy room and beds. My daughter and I stayed only one night between flights. It was a great place to rest up for the afternoon and evening before our morning domestic flight. The weather was cold and wet on arrival at Auckland airport, so it was fantastic to have the yellow hotel shuttle bus included in our hotel price. It was all easy to find and so convenient. Great value for money. Had a lovely dinner in the restaurant 👍 I would stay again. Our room had been renovated and was fresh.

not very far from the airport (10 min car drive, 20 min bus drive), free shuttle service provided which was very helpful to me for the night before my departure. the room was comfortable with smart TV. when I arrived in Auckland, I stayed in ibis budget, but I regret as I paid more for less value of money, this was much better. if I knew they will provide free transport, I would have booked this in the first place for my arrival.
