I recently had a fantastic stay at Pullman Airport Hotel. The room was beautifully appointed, featuring super dark curtains, a Nespresso machine, and a comfortable bed with plush pillows. The highlight was the bathroom, which boasted an excellent overhead rain shower. The bar and dining area were incredible, and the early opening buffet breakfast was both yummy and convenient (starts at 5 am!). The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Parking, it's worth noting that valet parking comes with a $69 cost.

The room is pleasant, and the amenities are well-chosen.

The service at the restaurant could use some improvement. Upon our arrival for lunch, there was a delay in being served, prompting me to request a menu from a staff member. When we inquired about the pronunciation of a particular wine, the waitress seemed unsure as well. After placing our order, we waited for over 20 minutes, despite the restaurant not being particularly busy, which left us with the impression that our order may have been overlooked. Given the restaurant's pricing, I believe the service could be more attentive and professional. On a positive note, the reception and floor staff were very friendly, which we appreciated.

Lack of staff experience. At this point the hotel has only been open a week so hopefully it improves. Simple things like where is Avis could not be answered by the night staff. Also no tea / coffee / sugar in room despite there being a coffee machine and milk in the fridge. Expected more for $400+ for one night

Every time someone shut their door the walls of our room rattled like they were made of paper

The physical structure was very pleasing to the eyes, especially the curved hallways. The detailing on the walls is a nice touch. Soundproof between rooms and from the outside noise was very calming, it feels as if you’re in a soundless sanctuary - it may have been my tired body from travelling but I swear it was dead quiet. Proximity of the property to the airport is amazing, especially when you just want no fuss after customs, a shower and a quick rest.

There are a lot of knickknack type switches around the room that you have to go around to turn off, unless you use a master switch, but we weren’t there long enough to play around with it all and only found it as we were walking out.

Did not have breakfast so no comment. Dinner on 9th floor was exceptional: staff professional but courteous, service was ok - we were ignored most of our meal - would have preferred more attention so I did not have to stand up and ask for something, stunning food off an exceptional menu. Room 316 was quiet but fridge had leaked water on the floor - informed staff when checking out. Perfect to have toilet and washing area separated. TV provided brilliant documentary on the Māori background to the design, construction and facilities offered by the hotel. A 1st prize for this! Welcoming staff upon arrival was most highly commendable: (especially Monu, + 2 “porters” whisking my suitcases to my room while I checked in - highly commendable that TWO persons did this (for security).

As mentioned above: leaking fridge at my arrival. A staff member should have checked before I entered room. Restaurant service weak - need to check on patrons during the meal.

I would like to sincerely thank the wonderful staff of the Pullman hotel for my recent stay. I had to make a last minute booking, due to being on the Auckland-Queenstown flight that had been struck by lightning. I'd experienced unhelpful staff at the airport side, after what was clearly a traumatic event. The Pullman hosted myself and a few other strays, who had been left to find our own accommodation by the airline. After experiencing sub-par customer service and a lack of empathy, it was the most immense relief to be received sympathetically and warmly by the staff at the Pullman. I truly can't thank you enough for being a shining light in a difficult moment.

So close to the airport New and clean comfortable room and facilities

Went to the Bar area and no staff let us know if we had to order at bar or if they come to you to take your order. Wasn’t overly busy maybe about 8 patrons in the lounge / bar area. Staff member behind bar was chatting to another and tidying behind bar. For an upmarket place and prices charged, this disappointed me another two patrons sitting nearby also asked me what the go was with ordering. After sitting for 10 minutes waiting around I ended up going to the bar. Would suggest a sign saying please make your way to bar while ready to order or even in menus. Other than that the service on checking in and at restaurant was lovely and perfect

This is a great location if needing to stay at the airport. Within easy walking distance to catch a flight. We were able to get late checkout and then extend our stay by several hours so that we could just hang out in the hotel rather than the airport. We appreciated the hotel accommodating this request. It made our trip a lot less stressful.

While I liked the breakfast buffet, it could have been a tad better with ability to get an omelet cooked. I appreciated that they provided a few gluten free items.
