I recently had a fantastic stay at Pullman Airport Hotel. The room was beautifully appointed, featuring super dark curtains, a Nespresso machine, and a comfortable bed with plush pillows. The highlight was the bathroom, which boasted an excellent overhead rain shower. The bar and dining area were incredible, and the early opening buffet breakfast was both yummy and convenient (starts at 5 am!). The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Parking, it's worth noting that valet parking comes with a $69 cost.

Arriving in the early hours from Australia it’s conveniently located right next to the airport
Lack of staff experience. At this point the hotel has only been open a week so hopefully it improves. Simple things like where is Avis could not be answered by the night staff. Also no tea / coffee / sugar in room despite there being a coffee machine and milk in the fridge. Expected more for $400+ for one night

I may be prejudiced against the Pullman Auckland Airport because I booked a table at their renowned restaurant, Te Kaahu, back in April when we reserved our room at the hotel, and when we arrived at the restaurant, the decor resembled a chilly cafe and they gave us a table in the middle of the floor with no ambiance while others who I know didn't book four months in advance got the nice tables by the windows. When my husband and I tried to change this situation we were balked by the staff, and I don't think it was just my disappointment in this treatment that led me to think the food wasn't up to the hype. We did, however, drink an excellent New Zealand wine. The room we booked was fine, and it was a very short walk to the International Terminal the next morning, but there was construction going on in the building and a long wait to check in as well, so the whole experience was not up to par.
I'm afraid I already discussed all that in the "like" column. I was quite disappointment with this hotel, and despite its excellent location for travel, I don't think I'll be back.

This is a great location if needing to stay at the airport. Within easy walking distance to catch a flight. We were able to get late checkout and then extend our stay by several hours so that we could just hang out in the hotel rather than the airport. We appreciated the hotel accommodating this request. It made our trip a lot less stressful.
While I liked the breakfast buffet, it could have been a tad better with ability to get an omelet cooked. I appreciated that they provided a few gluten free items.

After a huge flight the night staff were so welcoming at check in. The hotel itself was surprisingly lovely decor
At breakfast there were 6-7 children who all joined up with eachother from verious tables. Their parents seeing this probably as a break to enjoy their breakfast. The children treatede the breakfast area and bar like a juggle gym running around sscreaming and with their shoes on playing a game over 30 mins jumping on the lounge suite in the bar. Whilst their families shouod have stepped in so shoud the staff who tried to ignore them. There are always tactful ways in which something could have been said quietly to the parents. The manager on duty should have stepped in.

Great location for early morning flights, friendly staff, comfortable bed, great towels, mini bar, otherwise minimalist in facilities, etc.
Bathroom lighting over mirror is poor, rain shower more of a drizzle shower. Booking included dinner, with no advance details. Booking confirmation only advised dinner included. Restricted to what the chef said I could eat rather than full menu choice. Resolved with helpful restaurant Manager and staff. Thankyou. Restaurant manager said he would pass on my concerns to management. Did not find bedroom seating options comfortable.

Every thing! We arrived earlier than expected. We had set-up earlier check-in. We were able to check in a soon as we arrived. Nice staff. My wife loved the panda art in her cappuccino, that morning. What a place to recover from jet lag. Great room and service. Fabulous dinner in the room top restaurant. Huge breakfast buffet, also in the rooftop restaurant. Perfect Location. It was so nice top walk over to the hotel from the International Terminal.
It was unbelievable how windy it was while we were there. This made walking around the area out of the question. But of course that wasn't your fault!

Bedroom was lovely and comfortable and slept really well in the bed. Location was perfect for walking to the international terminal. We used the gym both days of our stay - it's very well equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast was also very tasty with a lot of cooked and continental options.
We were staying for 2 nights on 2 separate bookings and we were told when we checked in that we would have to come back down to reception to checkout and check back in. I would expected this to have been sorted without us having to do this given the level of hotel.
