Helpful staff - reception and shuttle bus driver and cleaning staff. Good service provided with shuttle bus from Auckland International Airport, even though I was the only customer at that time. Very good clean, crisp, fresh bed linen and bathroom towels. Surprise upgrade to having a kitchenette - most appreciated. Outdoor pool, clean water. Seating outside for snacking.

Distance from any close by food service or restaurants, especially when one is on foot. Simply necessitates being organised, buying some food at Airport, and heading to a shopping centre on foot or by bus.

The most superb daily room services provided so far in my recent experiences. They totally ensured our room was clean, towels replaced, rubbish taken and bin emptied, the bed was immaculately made every day upon our return to the manor. Excellent location minute's away to everything eg. auckland airport, motorway south and north, rainbows end, local shopping centre, mobil station. Public bus service friendly too with the local buses running regularly a minutes walk to the bus stop.

Parking I felt was abit chaotic like a "park where you can" vibe or something but otherwise it was all good playing the game of hide'n'go seek a carpark lol

Actually, Faye Apera is our social worker. we needed support with WINZ, but they didn't help us, and we went to visit Faye at her job in the community organization I Am Māngere in Māngere because we have been living with family friends for 3 weeks but the family moved on Tuesday to Australia so we didn't have a roof over our heads specially our 9months old son will be sleeping in our car Faye found out and WINZ and Strive couldn't help us that evening Faye paid us a night in here. We both cried and prayed that God continues to bless Faye and her family because we all know that struggle is really. Even though we had enough to pay for a night but Faye said buy food for your son and yourself, let me take care of the one night and pay me the next day. And we did the next day I received my benefit (Tui) we went to see Faye at work we paid her back and she helped us get all our documents for transitional housing with Strive and they needed other paperwork for their referral so Faye had all that done today and Faye begged my partner Max to take the day off because the housing assessement interview will be at 10.15am and we both have to be present so Max called his boss told him the reason he won't make it to work the boss allowed him to stay and sort this out but at the end of the day we didn't a house but that was not the case. Faye had finished work, but she couldn't end that day, not knowing if we were take care of we were both crying looking at each other and couldn't tell Faye that we received a call back that we will be seeing a case manager at Strive that will take us to view a home. We both asked where we would go this weekend. The Strive case manager said I don't know, sorry, I can't help you till Monday.

Everything the staffs are welcoming the room is warm the wairua is so home and the room is clean fresh and cozy and our social worker said please look after the room keep it clean and tidy at all times

I chose it being close to the airport, loved the convenience of a bus stop right outside ... was able to go shopping, to the supermarket, and have dinner ... offered a free shuttle service to airport ... but do check availability for peace of mind ... nice hot shower ... wifi was good, able to watch a few movies before dozing off ... staff were quick, efficient and polite

The noise from airplanes, the road, and corridor isn't too bad, earplugs fixed it ... it's somewhat dated but it provides what was needed ...

Very nice staff that went the extra mile !! Really liked that they had the shuttle service and being able to keep my car there knowing it’s safe and in good hands. Very clean and chill.

The part where I stayed, the corridor had this strong smell of smoke but wasn’t in the room. Walls are veryyyy thin and you can hear everything that is happening outside in the corridor. Was getting a little hoha because someone a few doors down from me was playing way too loud music after 11pm and couldn’t get to sleep when I had an early wake up.

Free airport shuttle, friendly staff, close to airport

Pleasant surroundings, room serviced, close to airport, suited our needs very well. From our viewpoint this was a good motel

Some noisy people late one night. I am reluctant to criticise but I felt the response to (apparently false) fire alarm was poor. No-one seemed to check on evacuation of rooms. Does the motel have defined protocols in event of alarm or any emergency? This is an important issue. Signage of motel not easily spotted when driving along Massey Road.

we flew in from Australia arriving early morning, and needed somewhere to have a quick sleep before exploring Auckland - Oakwood Manor Lodge was very good price and located close to the airport. Staff very friendly and gave us a late check-out for free.

it wasn't clear from earlier description that the shuttle bus pick-up from the airport only ran every hour on the hour, and we walked for ages to get to the pick-up point and phoned, only to be told that it would be another 45 minutes...

Really friendly and helpful staff, the airport shuttle was a perfect add and the woman was so helpful with sorting us out! The room was massive, clean and great value for money.

There was no aircon so it was very hot during the night as we were there in the peak of the summer season- there was a fan and I slept well however, my travel party did find it very hot throughout the night… otherwise nothing to fault at all, it was such a great comfortable stay!

Proximity to airport amazing! Free parking for 14 days even though we only stayed one night and free shuttle to airport Staff so so helpful couldn’t do enough to accommodate a family of 10 and everything we needed for our stop over. Beats driving through Auckland traffic at 6am from Whangarei to get to Auckland airport for the price we paid was so worth it.

Property a little tired and it was so hot but we did hve fans, but nice and clean comfortable bed.
