The ratings and reviews for this place are so over the top. I've given this the highest rating for everything to bring its score up because it doesn't deserve the reviews. Yes it is old, Yes some cupboards are broken, Yes there's the odd stain. But it was CLEAN and COMFORTABLE and a huge room! AND it's so ridiculously cheap!! What do you expect to get for that price in Auckland?? And it's so close to the centre! The location is amazing! We couldn't believe how expensive other accommodation in Auckland was and so we went for here, expecting horror based on reviews, but only needed it for one night. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. If you are like us, just need a good location for buses, trains to explore,, FREE PARKING (because honestly nowhere lets you just park for free in Auckland!) comfy bed, with clean sheets and enough space to pull your suit case/backpack out and hang a few items of washing, and your on a wicked budget? Then this is apsalutly perfect!

Was a bit worried after reading reviews on Google, but the place was absolutely fine. Good location, it was clean and had everything I needed. You can park right next to you room, which was great. Shower was great with good hot water pressure.

Part of the motel is used as an emergency housing, but the tenants were respectful and quiet, so I personally didn't see any issue.

Location is good, as bus stop to / from city few minutes from motel Room of good size and the bed comfortable bathroom clean The staff are friendly and helpful I felt as we know each other years ago.

No A/C in the rooms, however fan upon request has been provided.

Kitchen area light not working in room 10. A little run down facilities but basic working condition. Bed comfy. Noise upstairs not so much lol not sure why there's broken furniture & appliances in plain sight

value for money, walking distance to buses. trains. excellent location. Rooms are tired but look at what you pay. if you are after basic and just need a bed and basic amenities this place is for you. Would stay again if needing to stay cheap in Auckland.

I didn't stay at hotel 80 as þey had plumbing problems and, were transferred to another hotel but I enjoyed my stay for the price

Spapool working would be a bonus if it was working

Love the location and the staff was amazing! The receptionist was top notch, couldn't get her name but she was perfect with the service and catering us throughout our stay.

Everything was excellent during my stay.

My flights where delayed, and the lovely staff stayed late to ensure a seamless transition into my room. Fabulous staff.

Nothing to not like, it was clean tidy, everything in the room, for the price.
