Someone was playing really loud music and the staff, when I called to complain, went and dealt with it. Very grateful to them for that.

TV.

The location is fantastic! It’s just a stone’s throw from Westfield, in my opinion, one of the best malls in the city. Public transport is super convenient, with bus stops just around the corner. You can even take a lovely 20-minute walk to Cornwall Park when you feel like a breath of fresh air. There are also plenty of grocery stores nearby for all your daily needs. Plus, the staff? Absolutely lovely, so warm and welcoming!

If I had one complaint, it would be the smell. I’m not sure what was causing it, but there was a noticeably strong scent in the hallways. Even in my room, which didn’t have a kitchenette, there was a lingering curry-like smell. It wasn’t overwhelming, but definitely noticeable. That said, it’s my only complaint!

As stated in the listing it's a three-star hotel so you get what you pay for when you're paying $80 a night. of course you're not going to get the Hilton but it was fine. The room was a bit small so might be cramped for 2 people. I was travelling alone so it was fine for just myself. It's in a good location with a 5 to 7 minute walk from a Westfield shopping centre and many other shops and businesses. It's on a main road and wasn't that noisy. About as much noise as is expected being on a main road Not much noise from the guests. Some of the reviews said that the rooms didn't have air conditioning but my room had air conditioning Room was basic but clean and fine. No mold (some other reviews said there was mold and a damp smell but I didn't smell anything, the hotel smelled fine to me)

My whole experience here at No9 Hotel has been absolutely fantastic. I stayed for 8 days and found all of the staff to be presented well and professional. Room service for cleaning was always prompt and uninvasive. Onsite laundry facilities were easy to use. Perfect accomodation and a really reasonable price. And given that it's soooo close to everything was amazing. 5 star service at 2 star prices. Thank you very much to the team at No 9. I'll definitely be staying here again when I return to NZ. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. 😀

That I couldn't stay longer. 😀

It was quiet, tidy, and clean and the room come with the coolest most refreshing aircon ever!! Loved the house cleaners as not only do they replace every towel! They make your bed fresh everyday. They also replace the milk and tidy the entire room it was just amazing! I 1000% recommend staying cause they’re also down the road from a massive Westfield mall which is perfect for shoppers!

Everything was amazing !

Location was great, near to the places I wanted to go while I was in Auckland. The price was also good value for money.

They didn't change my sheets, I did tell the cleaning lady I was ok not to have it changed by the 2nd day. But by the third day it still wasnt changed, I was too tired ask the reception since I was out most of the time. And their AC couldn't be changed from heating to cooling and vice versa, you have to go down and ask the front office. Just these little things that need to be improved on I guess, otherwise I did enjoy my stay and will probably still book with them in the future.

The reception staff were very Polite, respectful and helpful. The fridge in my room was faulty and froze the food I had bought for dinner so They paid for my dinner at the local kebab shop. I had surgery that day and couldn't go out for dinner.

The bathroom wasn't the cleanest. The floor down the side of the vanity unit was filthy with someone else's rubbish still there. However it was an excellent shower even if the water did spill all over the bathroom floor.

The hotel is located relatively close to the City, and the bus stop is only 2min walking distance. Big shopping cetre was nearby too. The room itself was nice but nothing extra, the bed was super comfortable though. Fridge, tea kettle, microwave were all provided, so were the toiletteries. I had a hired car during my stay and even though I didn't request a car spot at the time of booking, thankfully I managed to get one. Overall it was a good value for money.

The aircon only had cool down option, there was no heater. Even though I was there during Christmas break, one of the nights was very cold, it would have been great to be able to warm the room up. The aircon was also a bit noisy. The room seemed clean at first but as soon as you look it closely, you could have seen that behind the fridge, or under the bed ni one was vacuuming for a while. Lastly, I'm all for going green and environmental friendly but using body wash and shampoo from paper package is just not working. You either use up the given portion at once or have to throw it as the packaging will fall apart from the water. A dispenser on the wall would be a better option I believe.

The floor under the vanity looked like it could be a bit cleaner.

The air freshener was too strong. There seems to be a bit of a sewer odur in the bathroom like the ventilation does not work correctly. Although there is recycling bins in doors I suspect that no recycling is actually done.

Room was a sufficient size... clean, comfortable bed was appreciated. Great to have a fridge and microwave, but had to stand on a chair to use the microwave. Shower had reasonable pressure. Extra for parking. I would stay here again

Maybe a little more cleaning in the showerbox, and along window ledge and frames could be done.. A folder with hotel details, nearby restaurants etc would have been helpful... I didn't use the tv
