The location was very good. There was a Chinese restaurant that was not part of the hotel, but accessible through the lobby. The reception staff were helpful The parking was excellent.

The lift was a little bit temperamental, but the reception staff were helpful. The bed wasn't particularly comfortable, and there was no extra bedding, which we needed if you did not want to use the air conditioning unit. I found a used water bottle behind the bedside table when I was looking for a plug for my phone. The sofa was not comfortable at all.

This was excellent value for money fkr a 5-day stay over Christmas. It was a clean, tidy, smart room with own bathroom, large TV, air con and comfy chairs. 10 mins walk from Newmarket town centre and ample free parking in the hotel grounds. Ideal for my needs and recommended.

The shower could do with a new head as it didn't spray efficiently. Also, you drive out of the hotel into a one-way street and twice I got caught out by turning left. For safety reasons there should be a clesr sign at the hotel exit 'right turn only'.

Good location. Very comfortable beds and great to have 3 king single beds in the triple room. Good black out curtains and no noticeable noise disturbance, especially considering other guests were concert goers and coming and going late. We didn't use it, but microwave in the room.

Never anyone at reception. No bell. Had to wait to check in. Never saw anyone there anytime we walked in or out during our two night stay and had to wait again to check out. Signage reminding you its a one way street when you drive out would be a good thing.

It is near to Mount Eden and Newmarket with a great value of a night stay. The room is neat and quiet and comfortable. Free parking and wifi, and TV with Netflix. I love the idea of using the key card to enter the hotel outside reception hours. If you visit Auckland and would love some quiet and handy place for a stay, that's definitely a choice!

Will be better if the room is equipped with cutlery, yet the reception provieded us on request. Not too many takeaway/restaurants close by, but with some walk or drive, there are lots out there to choose from.

It was close too the mall and train station and the receptionist were really helpful and the cleaners when I walked by they smiled,checkin was really easy and quick. Also as I've been camping a lot as a kid and been in a few hotels it was the best shower I've had that wasn't at home

The only thing was the fridge it froze the cheese and ham but apart from that I really enjoyed my time there

Great location for an event at Eden Park, great to have parking available. Bathroom and room very clean. Mattress of smaller bed quite soft so my daughter just jumped in the king with me - which was a very comfortable bed. Check-in and check-out very straightforward and easy.

Only thing was that there was a toaster in the room but nothing else (plates, cutlery etc), so wonder if that was only useful if you had ordered a breakfast.

Have stayed here a few times. You don't really see the staff but doesn't matter. The rooms are big and the beds comfy. Fridge, toiletries, room service and even a microwave in one we had. Close to Newmarket Westfield. Ten minute walk to train to CBD

The hotel staff were lovely and helpful. The location was easy, close to Newmarket and easy to get into the CBD via public transport. Room was clean and had free parking!

The wifi didn't work in our room the first day but by day 2 the hotel had fixed it 👌 The bathroom didn't have a fan

The rooms were spacious and for the most part clean (had an old water stain where fridge was). Good value for money. Lots of car spaces. There was a lingering smell from the restaurant in the reception area and corridors but the rooms were pleasant. Excellent location - handy to town and motorways.

The carpets were a little run down with stains. Reception was unattended so had to wait for over 10minutes until someone arrived to check me in, we also had to wait 2 hours for our 2nd room to be cleaned (but they were short-staffed). Not as welcoming on reception as they could be. Hotel laundry being done (and spread out) in the same space as the shared kitchen facilities. Lovely hotel rooms but reception and shared spaces do need a little TLC.

The room looked nice and it is presented well (outside and reception)

Our room didn’t have any tea, coffee or sugar ect, there was not enough cutlery to use as well As no tea towel to dry dishes. I did find the sponge in our room gross so didn’t want to use it. One room also had the fire exit covered by a bed.
