The place is geared to business travellers working from Highbrook industrial estate. Rooms are set out to be comfortable to sleep, work and eat in and as such are modern and clean, well-outfitted for a short stay with kitchenette to be able to cook. Location wise - not far from the motorway north / south and straightforward to get to from the airport. Long (5km+) waterfront walking path nearby. 10 minutes drive from the Botany shopping centre (supermarkets, shopping, restaurants) 7 or so nearby cafes / restaurants, several with decent food. Olea (cafe) solid for breakfast & lunch. Nearby convenience store and gas station.

There isn't an onsite gym, there is a 24 hour gym next door (Jetts) but may not be worth the membership for a short stay. Front desk isn't attended outside of business hours, if your flight or car rental is late best to call. If you're staying at weekends or during a holiday period, the local restaurants will be closed. There is very little to do nearby if travelling with children.

Beds are the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on - pillows just as bad. Its such a pity as the apartment really is clean, lovely and well presented - however I was debating on sleeping on the floor the bed was just that bad. There is currently construction going on around the building which is noisy, and makes the entrance incredibly hard to find.

Stay was great, bed was a bit too hard for my liking, but I was warm & cosy. Shower is Fab!! & having laundry facilities in the room saved me from doing my washing when I got home. Room was serviced the next day and I was very surprised to come back to my room after a long day out, Thankyou Hskpn Staff. I also had reception book me a cab for the airport for a 330am pick-up and they showed up at 310am which was great. Driver was fantastic!

Bed, being a bit hard for me, but warmth & cosiness won me there.

Comfortable, had everything we needed. Great to have washing machine when travelling with family too.

It was not made clear to us that the rooms are not serviced on Sundays. When we returned to the room at the end of our day we needed fresh towels so phoned 24 hour reception number. Although some new towels were delivered to us, it was clear that we were seen as an inconvenience. Suggest that staff inform guests of the no service in Sundays at check in, and perhaps reflect the reduced service by charging less for the room on those days.

We were just there for the night. We had an unexpected guest (our grandson) who decided he wasn’t ready to go home to his parents. It wasn’t a problem at all for the awesome staff to accommodate the last minute change. We all appreciated it and the two staff members at the desk were amazing! Our moko has already said he can’t wait to come back. We live in Otara and this was just about “getting out”

We had several conversations with staff regarding ordering breakfast - which got mixed up. Somehow one breakfast for one person for two days = two total turned into 4 breakfasts total - which turned up on the last evening (so our staff member didn't get breakfast on the first morning. These were ordered specifically to ensure that this wouldn't happen.

Really nice facilities, the little kitchenette had everything you would need and a dishwasher. The dishwashing liquid and dishwasher powder were supplied. In the bathroom there was a great laundry with washing machine and dryer, again the washing machine liquid was supplied. The room was very clean and well designed to fit everything in. We each had two soft pillow and two firmer pillows which allowed you to find one that suited you best. We arrived after check in hours but the receptionist was so lovely and came and met us after hours and was really nice.

The bed was firm. This is personal preference only, as I prefer a softer sleep.

Convenient located in the East Tamaki area. Great alternative to The Sebel when the Sebel is booked out. Fisher House for meals is greatly placed location which is within walking distant also Namaste for dinner also an alternative also is great.. Breakfast option downstairs below with Hollywood Breakfast is convenient. Rooms are quiet.

Late night meal options are limited to Uber Eats or alternatively if you have a car then you're fine.

Quest Highbrook's rooms are spacious. Of all the staff I came across, the cleaners were impressive, they did an excellent job, and their mannerisms towards guests felt genuine.

The tv has limited options, they used to provide a great movie selection at this hotel. Im i.t. illiterate, so, I was unable to chrome cast. The fire alarm went off at night, we followed protocol and went downstairs and assembled outside. There was no roll call to check if all the guests had evacuated. The smell of smoke was pungent on our floor, which is where they said it was coming from. We were allowed back in, but there was no feed back as to what the cause was. It was a little scary as when we went back to the room, you could still smell the smoke in the passage way. There was only one staff member on site dealing with it, but, for peace of mind it would have been good to have given feedback and to assure guests it was ok.

My recent stay at quest highbrook was a delight. The hotel's peaceful, almost new surroundings provided a serene retreat, while its convenient location near an Indian restaurant and a convenience store made everything easily accessible. The staff were incredibly professional and accommodating, ensuring that my experience was nothing short of exceptional.
