The manager and staff were exceptional and the room was lovely. And there was a regular bus virtually outside which was perfect for someone without a car.

The noise from the adjoining building works was horrendous, often from 7am until 7.30pm. However, the motel staff were extremely understanding and once alerted to the problem they did their utmost to reduce the hours of drilling and hammering, although of course during the day it was still disruptive. I would definitely stay here again but would first check if the building works were complete!

It was great for a last minute stay! Receptionist was very friendly and welcoming! Such a contagious smile :)) I loved how cute the room was! It’s a little out dated but still very cute and you get some sort of aesthetic vibes from it.

Dishes in the cupboard under the sink had some bugs on it and there were visible spiderwebs under the kitchen sink. Very thin walls , could hear the people next to us very clearly. No air conditioning so room was abit chilly but there was a heater so that helped! Pillows were way too high😅 it gave me a sore neck.

Unit was huge with a super comfy bed. Big BIG smart TV, great for kicking back and watching movies (can use your own log on for online streaming just remember to log out). Free wifi with great coverage. Clean and tidy. Had everything you need for multiple nights stays. Very quiet as we had unit at back of motel. Decor a little dated and very eclectic, but at the price it was excellent value. Will stay again next time we are in this area. Reception was polite and efficient.

The room and ensuite were very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The room was serviced on a daily basis and the staff were very friendly and helpful. All the facilities provided worked well, including the large television. It was a very comfortable place to stay and there were plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Spacious - more like an appartment than motel room. Loved the bonechina teacups & other old worldly decor. Spotlessly clean. Separate toilet. Room suprisingly quiet although motel on busy road. Good balue & would return.

It was such a clean room and the bed was super comfortable. The host and his wife were also very welcoming and helpful.

The shower went cold after 5 minutes of being in the shower.

The space the room provides was amazing, the bed was nice and comfortable and it wasn't to noisy

The welcome from the manager and no fuss of allowing us early access. We really appreciated that after our long drive from Taranaki.
