Property was a bit dated.

A lovely spot to stay at the end of our holiday. Beautiful views of the beach, comfy beds and relatively close to the airport. Also booked a bigger room so had lots of space to spread everything out and repack our family's suitcases. We will be back. Note there is a cafe, small shop and restaurant just up the street which is very convenient.

1 bathroom only for potentially 7 people in our room - but the shower was nice. Also the soaps needed filling up.

The staff was very helpful and able to accommodate our needs at the last minute. We loved the location and the value. We especially enjoyed walking just a short way to a cute coffee shop and corner grocer.

Not the motel's fault, but there's limited public transportation in the area. It is quite a distance to the airport so taxi service can be expensive to the city center or the airport.

Check-in was easy, friendly staff. Nice spacious 2 bedrooms and loft on second floor, was perfect for a family. Main bedroom was very spacious, second bedroom just large enough for a queen bed, and the loft was bigger than expected with a queen bed and a single bed. Small bathroom with shower only. Very clean and tidy. Had everything we needed. Great view of the ocean, beach just across the road. Pretty quiet, with not much noise from the road or other guests. Would definitely stay again.

Just noticed that the window latches were in need of maintenance as some did not close properly. But otherwise well maintained and tidy place.

The staff is really nice, accomodations are very clean and location is great (it is very close to the beach and coffee shops).

How far away it is from Auckland CBD and how inconvenient it can be if you don't have a car (especially if you wish to come home late after 10pm).

The stay was fantastic. The view from our room was amazing over looking the beach.Night was even more beautiful.

Had very noisy neighbours in the room above us that were stomping in the room all hours of the night.

Location & View was great The apartment was awesome and fit our group perfectly. We were excited to use the pool also but we had too much planned in town and not enough time. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, we got very held up on the road and missed check in by about two hours but they made it work. Would 100% recommend and would definitely stay again.

Staff were lovely, rooms were clean and tidy, great view. The kids liked the pool also. It was a nice break from the city.

The railings are too wide. It concerned me everytime my two year old went on the balcony or up the stairs as he could easily slip through. I think the configuration of rooms needed to be changed so we could be closer together as a family. However, now that I know the layout I will choose ground units next time.

The location is wonderful and we loved sitting on the balcony watching the boats. Bucklands Beach is so lovely and relaxing.

It was quite a dated apartment and for the price we were paying we were pleased to get an outstanding view! Which was absolutely beautiful! The design of the motel is very architectural but a bit rough around the edges. The hooks that held the Roman blind ties were falling off the wall, the rubbish bin looked harassed, some aspects were quite dated and the bathroom was very tiny for the amount of beds available in the apartment we were in. We loved the mezzanine and the tv was great. The bathroom was probably the most disappointing aspect. There wasn’t any milk given to us and no little body wash or moisturiser sachets? For the price I think it would be appreciated having those extras. In saying that the beds & bedding were very comfortable and the towels were fluffy and warm.
