The motel was close to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Auckland Temple, which was the purpose of our visit to the city. The unit was spacious and the beds were comfortable. There was a second toilet on the upper floor which was very handy. There were heat pumps situated on both the ground and first floor.

There was only a two seater couch, and two dining chairs at the table, which wasn't enough for four guests, especially when seated for meals. There was only one light blanket on each of the beds which meant we had to run the heat pumps all night to maintain a comfortably warm sleep. It would have been much better if there were electric blankets on each of the beds.

The staff were lovely and accommodating. Facilities spotless! Beds super comfy! TV was great. Handy location to Dennys & Valentines restaurant, Countdown, etc. Enjoyed the walking distance to Rainbows End! We wanted a motel as close to Rainbows End as possible - it was the perfect location!

It was difficult to find - only because the motel sign was faded. I couldn't see it. It took me ages to find the motel even with my GPS! If the sign had lights on it or stood out more, then I would have found the motel more quickly than I did! After a quick phone-call to Rayland Motel, I found it at the end of the driveway just past Valentines restaurant. The staff were very helpful and gave me helpful directions!

Everything was comfortable and great location. Staff were lovely.

As you drive in there is a large pothole outside Valentine’s restaurant which I tried to avoid very slowly and it still cost me $180.00 in having my front wheel hub having to be repaired. Just alloy rims don’t take the bumps. Not the motels fault but would be great to get it addressed.

We were very happy with our room. We had the most comfortable bed. We stayed one night. What made our stay pleasurable was the warm welcoming receptionist who was super helpful and thoughtful. She noticed I was limping and gave us a down stairs room so I didn't have to use the stairs. Very affortable and handy to the Manukau Mall.

The staff were friendly & helpful. The room was very clean. There was daily room service, with clean sheets & towels.

The 2 burner stove was not useable when we moved in but this was fixed as soon as we asked.

I like how easy it was for after hours check in The Receptionist was really great from the time of my booking and making contact about arriving late. I also enjoyed how big the shower is with hard pressure and i like that theres a heat pump upstairs and downstairs in the family room.

At 3am in the morning there was a loud scream from a female and a loud vehicle from the road behind us which really went right through the room so i think have to be prepared for loud noise. We come up northland so not use to the sort of noise

Its a verry cozzy place like home, big rooms and a kitchen to cook your own food .. have a asian store nearby and resto and buffet just in front and a shopping mall is just walking distance.. most importantly is that they clean the room everyday and with the help of the reception wich is verry welcoming and helpfull.. Good Place to stay

The face of your motel is a great ambassador for your reputation, she is the first person to greet a guest and is well informed about local attractions and events. Friendly, honest service, rooms are clean and comfortable. Excellent for if you have family at Super Clinic, and need to be close.

I like my tea strong, tea bags were a bit weak.

I appreciate the staff for being accommodating as my dad was very ill and was discharged straight from the hospital to the Rayland Motel and it was perfect for him and very comfortable.

One lady at the reception who offered me a place to stay. I payed the rent in Cash and then She called the cops on me stating that Ibwas trying to physically molest her. Im 1990 Born and wouldn't even want to come close to a lady with her legs in a grave(Almost). Still trying to be liberal with my words...
