Location Parking Dinning available Friendly & very welcoming staff at Reception The drapes were lovely Having a window for fresh air was awesome because it was so hot, we used the air-conditioning but the fresh air was a bonus. Liked the close proximity to other food eateries & being close to the Auckland New Zealand Temple.
In the bathroom there was a stain on the door On the gold light stand of the bed, it had been pelt off in places and so therefore didn't give that nice brand new look of the room. The iron was like wrapped around the wardrobe poll making it difficult to pull out to use, if you don't have a city view, the view is dumb of the car park. I'm sure there are better scents than the one in your body wash, shampoo & conditioner. The Lemongrass scent is not pleasant. When I came for breakfast she asked for my room number, I forgot it, then she went away and did something else, leaving us there waiting, so I just went to reception and asked for my room number then went back because we were hungry.

The Sebel Manukau exceeded my expectations. The immaculate room featured a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee maker, toaster, fridge, and kettle—perfect for families. With its various channels, television turned our nights into enjoyable movie experiences, with Nickelodeon being a favourite. The beautiful bathroom boasted a spacious double showerhead and thoughtful amenities like body wash, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, and shaver—small details that enhanced our stay. From our room, we enjoyed stunning views of the Dew Drop Centre and the temple on the hill. The beds were warm and cozy, with high-quality pillows ensuring restful nights. The inbuilt AC/heater system added comfort, and the provided robes and slippers felt luxurious. The complimentary Wi-Fi and a diverse buffet breakfast—ranging from hot dishes to fresh fruit—made for a delightful start to each day. It was located within walking distance of attractions like Rainbow's End and Westfield shopping mall, and with nearby dining options, convenience was abundant. The staff, whose kindness and attentiveness made our stay memorable, made us feel at home. They were always ready to assist and greet us warmly.

Room was clean, reminded us of the Meriton(set out) but definitely had no problem with the room - thank you Sheila, always greeted us with a smile…thank you for your warm hospitality during our time at the breakfast buffet - your customer service, impeccable! This breakfast buffet would have to be the highlight of the hotel, early hours of the mornings. Food was hot, fresh & the chef made sure everything was topped up
Parking during the evenings, was often hard to find as the hotel is right next door to Valentines Buffet Restaurant, it can get busy around this time.

Cleanliness and convenience. Very comfortable bed thank you. accessibility well done, we had 2 keys to our room. Very well presented.
I have used Sebel for the last 2 years unfortunately I experienced a very unexpected inconvenience through paying for my stay. I was told by the manager on the day of checking in that there has been a change in their payment system. So paying for my stay via my Australian Debit credit card proved to be a real problem. Right up to my checking out payment was still not received by Sebel even though my account was showing funds withdrawn. I handed over screenshots of payments made and was asked to present proof of payment three times. I am currently trying to sort payment out with staff.

Absolutely loved our stay here, we booked an hour before arriving. Staff at reception were absolutely amazing! friendly and accomodating. Loved the room, clean, spacious and the bed was big and comfortable. My favourite part was the shower, with a big overhead shower as well as the normal shower. Highly recommend the hotel buffet breakfast. so many delicious options. Great location and despite being next to the motorway it was super quiet. I can't wait to come back and stay next time I'm in Auckland.
I was just a little frustrated that I could't connect my apple devices to the TV.

Stayed in a king deluxe suite with my partner and 2 year old child, and from a parents perspective, I appreciated the accessibility of the room. The shower was a large wall to wall walk in which made shower time a breeze for my toddler as I could get in there comfortably with her, the mini fridge was great for storing her snacks and drinks, and the couch was handy for reading and drawing times. There was also plenty of parking onsite at the time we stayed.
The room came with a cot for free but couldn't be swapped for a rollaway bed. That was an extra charge.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Welcoming and hospitable staff. Spacious room, clean bed, clean bathroom. Microwave good for heating up your own food. Mini fridge accomodated my food for the 3 days i was there. Crockery and cutlery available. Kettle and coffee maker availble. Close to motorway. Close to shops. Walking distance of 400m from Westfield shopping centre. Overall nice stay.
My neighbours were lively on some nights. So you could hear them knocking on wall most nights. Used headphones to block noise out🤦♀️

It was very clean and a nice space to come back to rest after a long day. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. I will definitely stay again when I’m back in Auckland.
We ordered food with Uber Eats and they aren’t allowed to deliver to our room which was a bit annoying. If there was an option at the hotel to pay staff to bring deliveries up to room would have been perfect, it would be very convenient especially after a long day :)

We stayed for 2 nights before flying out of NZ. Also attended the LDS Auckland Temple which is so close. The room is quite spacey, everything was clean and the bed was really comfy! The property itself is next to Valentiens with Dennys next door, z gas station around fhe corner as well as other shops. Conveniently located next to Rainbows end as well as Manukau shopping centre. Would definitely stay again & recommend
