The location was perfect. Close to local shops but away from noise. The views from the main bedroom were amazing and the kitchen facilities were more than adequate for us as a group of 4 adults. We were met at the main door by the owner who pointed us in the right direction. The room was extremely clean and tidy with plenty of bathroom essentials too.

The only suggestion would be to put a curtain perhaps across the bedroom attached to the kitchen/dining area to offer a little privacy in that area. Otherwise the stay met all our expectations and we were extremely happy.

The apartment was lovely and clean and all the necessary requirements for the short stay. We would have used more of the lovely spa and swimming pool facilities had our stay been longer. The apartment was very quiet and private, so this was something I appreciated very much. We appreciated the courtesy car trips we received from Dave I hope I have the name correct. He was a lovely man and took us to a lovely beachside restaurant drove us to lovely winery and provided a commentary about Waiheke Island which was interesting. On our last day drove us to the Ferry. This was terrific and we really appreciated his kindness very much.

The steps to the apartment were quite steep and would not be a problem to the younger age group. The milk for 3 people was not enough for the short stay. We could have asked for another carton I expect. The distance from the main activities of this Chalet was a problem we were just lucky that the owner was happy to drive us to some of the places we wanted to visit.

Such the unique stay. My favourite feature was the glass window in the main bedroom! Just beautiful! And all the little touches around the place. Absolutely adore. There are so many people asking already for the link to this property. Loved the check-in and how there was no face to face contact lol. We also had our two year old who loved the large open floor space. Couldn’t be happier:)

Nothing it was all stunning

This was a beautiful stay. Our room looked over the lake and hills in Waiheke island and it had to one of the most breath-taking views I had seen on my travels. The small sunroom made watching the view, that much more beautiful.

My only complaint was that my partner and I had to walk from the bus station to our room and the walk was brutal. It was a very steep incline and with around 45lbs of luggage, the walk up the hill was incredibly brutal.

It was a perfect 🥰 pick for my family. We love every bit of it. Both beds were too comfy that I didn't want to go home. The chalet was clean, tidy, spacious and well looked after. The views from the room upstairs were amazing. Will recommend this 💯 Towels everywhere. Too much of all the amenities. We are definitely coming back in summer ☀️ We found chocolates in the fridge. Thanks to our host.

The studio was a perfect base for a wedding. The bed was super comfortable with lovely pillows and duvet. Air con, well equipped bathroom with hairdryer. Everything you need for a shore stay. Bus stop and restaurants and shops and Ostend market a short 10 min stroll down the hill. We enjoyed cooling off in the pool!

I was disappointed the ad has said there was a portable oven and stove which was not true. Tge owner had explaiined that the service had been removed. Threw me off my game a bit. Luckily I carried my electric braai so Dinner was sorted, however planned Breakfast I could not do. Please correct the ad on bookings.com.

Lovely bed and bedding, milk & necessities for tea & coffee, nice shower and kitchen. Sitting out area with pears and lemons growing. Handy location for Ostend with good supermarket. Easy parking. Friendly hosts. Pool and hot tub available tho we stuck to the beaches. Stayed an extra night.

Shared pool at the property was great and walkable distance to some of the wineries.the hosts gave us a lift back to the ferry terminal with all our luggage which was very kind as we'd paid $40 in a taxi on the way out for a short drive. Bus stop close to the chalets. Large room with small kitchenette. Big shower. Friendly hosts and accommodating

Room felt a bit cluttered, like staying in a spare room rather than a bnb. Clean but a few cobwebs here and there in the corners. I think I would stay closer to the small town next time and only do 1 night.

The place was in a lovely setting. I asked the owners help with wifi, and unfortunately there was still no luck. Be great to stay in summer. Cleaning needs a bit of attention to detail.

Cleanliness. could do with some attention. And wifi - really didn't want to go back up to the owners place a second time to try to sort out as they were hosting guests, felt rude to interrupt a second tome.
