I had a wonderful stay at the Lagos Oriental Hotel! The location is absolutely perfect, with easy access to everything. My room was spacious and comfortable, featuring a large bathroom and excellent Wi-Fi. The Smart TV was a great touch, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. Room service was attentive and very helpful, and all the staff were friendly and always smiling, which really made a difference. The check-in process was fast and smooth. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Lagos.

While the breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, I found it a bit unusual. The buffet included dishes like rice, spaghetti, chicken, and meat, which felt more like a lunch to me. However, I understand that this might be typical for a Nigerian breakfast. Despite it being different from what I’m used to, the food was still tasty, though quite spicy for my taste. Overall, it was okay, but it was a bit of an unexpected experience.

People working in the hotel were all polite, cheerful & nice.

It’s understandable that it’s an old structure. But continuous maintenance & updates should be made to keep it to standard.

The breakfast buffet was superb and delicious. The view of the lagoon was also great.

The controls for the AC in the room weren't quite working and when the air was getting too cold, the button to reduce the coldness or increase the warmth/temp. wasn't working. We had to entirely switch off the AC and then turn it back on when the room was warm. Housekeeping should immediately remove trash found on the hotel hallways. There were empty beer bottles laying around for at least a couple of days outside one of the rooms.

The best part of the hotel was the large and spacious rooms, staff of breakfast area and the scenic beauty of the view through the glass window. 😍👌🫶 We spent our 31st marraige anniversary here on 18th Jan 2024 and every kobo was worth it. We both enjoyed it thoroughly.😍💝💝👍👍

There were no sockets to connect our phone chargers near our bed Netflix not provided by the hotel? The hotel is considered as a five star hotel then why minimal facilities were a struggle? Our mistake. Last year, we mentioned our anniversary occasion and on Val’s day when we booked in four points. They arranged our bed with flowers and all things romantic. It was like a dream! We r planning to stay in oriental for Val’s day. What say? Did u get my hint?

This was my first time in Nigeria. The hotel was grand and met my expectations. The view was spectacular over the seaside. We were able to check in early. The staff was friendly. Concierge waiting on every floor. The food was spicy if that’s what you’re into. We had the deluxe quarters. The room and bathroom were huge just like in the picture.

There was no wash cloth but that’s ok because I brought my own toiletries and towels. The surrounding area is not so safe, so stay within the hotel.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. We really felt welcome by Stephen at the reception, one of the baggage handlers. Room service was prompt and the prices are pretty good value for money.

We did have to move room once as our shower wasn't dispensing hot water, and was next to a generator so we had a constant hum in the room. The room afterwards however was fine.

The breakfast was really good and had a great amount of variety. The reception and the hotel employees were very helpful. The best thing about our room was the view. The bathroom was also very spacious. Good security as well.

The hotel's lunch and dinner food options were limited. The restaurants offered variable portion sizes, leading to food wastage. There weren't many issues that we faced from the hotel themselves.

Splendid location. Beautiful scenery. Excellent facilities and service. Clean. Veeeeery good food. Easy access around town.

Wifi was good but wasn't that fast. Room lighting was basic (just one switch controlled so all or nothing) Entertainment (TV) not so entertaining - unclear channels, little variety, no internet TV

Our see view room was superb with breathtaking views of the Lagos lagoon The Friday evening barbecue with live music by the pool was very entertaining

Location was great, breakfast was ok but not too many varieties though, but food good. Room was very spacious and clean. The environment was calming. Location is great, very accessible to places you will love to go. Staffs friendly and helpful
