We’re glad that we could spend time in this beautiful hotel, clean, full of amenities and in particular what you need to pay attention to - the people who create this amazing atmosphere there, I would’t be myself if I didn’t mention Daniel from the reception - we think that he is a volcano of energy that passes on to the guests, the hotel doesn’t live without him, such people create the atmosphere of a place to which you want to return again, a person full of knowledge and always provides irreplaceable help, thank you! Friendly staff (Joachim from reception :-) and the guy in the Wellness Area), good breakfast, stunning view even in the elevator, new furniture with warm design and super clean, excellent parking, comfortable bed. All in all awesome!

Gym is free but the access is a little complicated because it is within the Wellness area which has extra costs. So you have to go to the "Pay Area" to reach the free gym. The fact that the Wellness Area has an additional price is okay! If it was included, the rooms would be more expensive for everybody including guests that do not use the pool and sauna. Bathroom is a little bit small when the shower glasses are "unfolded".

Great view of the sunset and the ocean and Bodo town from the bedroom with the beds facing the view. Attentive staff who helped us with bags and refused a tip. Good restaurant with an outdoor balcony you can take pictures from. The restaurant had a great view from most tables even those away from the window. Breakfast was excellent and a wide selection. Bedroom and bathroom seemed new and nicely designed. They used the space well in the room. Lots of free parking. On top of a hill and there was a lovely hike to a peak with great views that start from just below the hotel.

Dinner options were typical and cooked well, but not especially creative.

Good location: a 7-min drive to the ferry terminal; good facilities: a beautiful swimming pool on the roof to enjoy midnight sun in summer; exceptional staff at the restaurant: Johann helped us to place an order with the restaurant while we were still on our way to the hotel to make sure we could have dinner before the kitchen closed and provided wonderful service at dinner; it was good value for money as well.

My small room had nowhere to put the suitcase while unpacking it. A foldup luggage rack would have been very helpful. Two upholstered chairs and a small table provided nowhere to put the suitcase. I dislike putting the suitcase on the clean bed.

This was a brief stay for us on our way to Lofoten Islands, and then on our way back, being quite close to the Bodø Airport. The hotel is very new and modern, very clean, and enjoys a great view. We regretted not having more time to enjoy the facilities. If we return to Bodø in the future we will certainly want to stay here again.

I had an unforgettable stay at Wood Hotel in Bodø! The breakfast was a highlight—especially the delicious homemade hot cocoa. The hotel's pool, sauna, and fitness facilities are top-notch, and I was even lucky enough to see the Northern Lights during my evening swim. The staff was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Highly recommend, and I can't wait to return!

We had such a good time at Wood Hotel Bodø. It was my birthday and we truly enjoyed the swimming pool and sauna. It was not crowded. The staff was very very pleasant. The personalized birthday card was waiting for me on the bed. I was also provided with a discount due to my birthday and I was very pleasantly surprised. The breakfast is very delicious! Totally worth it. I will come back when I have a chance!

The breakfast was really good and the room itself was wonderful. Service was very friendly, and it was super easy to get to.

The food at dinner was quite salty and there could be additions like a towel rack and a place to put toiletries in the shower to improve the overall experience but these are minor changes

The location for walks was great and the views from our room were fantastic Clean, very comfortable bed!

They are new so there were some little issues. No kettle in the room to make a cup of tea even though there was a selection of tea bags. There was a coffee machine but no milk. The was NO drain in the bathroom so water had no where to go.
