Very good location - 10/15 mins walk from city centre, train and bus stations. Friendly staff. Good size room with comfortable bed and bathroom. Breakfast was varied and tasty. Coffee available all day. Evening bar pleasant place to relax - beer at reasonable price (for Norway).

Room was very warm and the A/C was very ineffective. Open windows cooled room down nicely but meant traffic noise (preferable to a hot room for me). The rooms are a very dark and depressing grey (although maybe this is due to almost perpetual daylight during the summer?)

Super nice little hotel, with friendly staff, and a little bar in the reception area serving beer, drinks etc. The breakfast was a lot better then expected, the bacon was crispy and they served real eggs, both as a fried option and also scrambled (not the cheap powder kind). The room was super tidy and clean - overall really enjoyed my stay.

The Coffee at breakfast was OK - drinkable, but not amazing. Everything else was REALLY good!

My stay was generally pleasant. The room was small but cozy, the breakfast was simple yet good, and the staff was very friendly. Additionally, the location is excellent, central and close to the train station.

Water leaked from under the shower screen, and the small fridge in the room barely cooled.

The location of the hotel is very good and the hotel is quite quiet. Our side of the room was towards the bride and there was not much noise.

The toilet was not clean, there was pee on it and the bed was not comfortable (it's subjective). The toilet needs to be cleaned better.

Clean and comfortable. Staff was warm and welcoming. The location was lovely. The bed was comfortable. The room was cozy. We enjoyed the church and rådhus clock bells.

The breakfast tried hard to be good, but it wasn't as nice as expected given the rest of the experience.

Staff is amazing kind and helpful. The recently renovated rooms are lovely and the position near the waterfront and only a 15 minute walk to the ferry for the old town make it a great choice. However, it is the staff who make the place, they kindly upgraded mum's room so that her shower space was more appropriate and let us leave our car there all day when we had checked out. Very friendly young staff who have given a great impression of the hotel and their city.

Very comfortable, spacious and beautiful room with nice view to the park with its church. Newly renovated and with cozy bed. A very good price for the quality.

Lacking hair-dryer. (Dirty windows.)

Quite central, only a few minutes walk into town and the city ferry, but I do speak the language .
