Comfortable hotel right in the city centre. All the required facilities are there. There was even a bathtub in the room! The personnel is very friendly and helpful. The hotel doesn't have own parking, but Lykkeberget P-Hus is affordable and has an exist right into the hotel. Special thanks for the book with local sights in the room. Didn't know there is a little Stonehenge nearby. The location is good: it's a short walk to the waterfront with many restaurants and a free boat that goes to the old town.

There was neither minibar nor kettle in the room. I guess one needs to take a more expensive room to get that. And there is bar downstairs, so that's fine. We didn't get a double bed. But that's just because we booked a bit late. There are rooms with double beds in the hotel. There was a bit of noise in the night — an occasional car blasting its stereo out or a yelling person. But that's likely unavoidable in the city centre.

Really confortable hotel with a great location with walking distance to all the restaurants and areas of interest . Staff super helpful and the breakfast was quite nice.

Everything was quite good. The only comment I can make is that the sign from outside the hotel had some lights broken, so instead of reading it as QUALITY HOTEL at night was only LITY HOTEL. No big deal!

I stayed at this hotel when I was attending Fredrikstad Animation Festival. To my pleasant surprise it was almost right next to the place! They also allowed me to store my luggage before check in, very convenient as I arrived to town a few hours before check-in. Nice variety for breakfast. Nice room and comfortable bed. Very nice bathrooms. Good of the hotel to think of the environment and not switching out towels/sheets everyday if its not needed.

Would've liked a small fridge for storage, but it wasn't a necessity during my stay.

Close to pier promanade, restaurants and shopping. Underground parking available at a cost. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Breakfast was spectacular. Would certainly stay again.

No phone in the room, ice machine on our floor didn't work, bath tub leaked, kinda noisy (we were directly above the front entrance), not really any room service.

There is no gym/fitness room in the hotel - really not a big deal but even few weights and one or two machines will be nice.

The staff was really friendly, everyone from the reception, restaurant, to cleaning staff.

I had asked to get the room cleaned everyday but they didn't change the bedsheet, and neither the towels in the room, they put the same ones back folded, not sure if that needs to be asked specifically. But was a bit disappointed. However they did clean the room very well.

Great spot, clean rooms and great breakfast. Parking till 8AM for free next to hotel.

All good, just advise to take a ferry to go to old town not good, as parking was expensive but near old town there is P with three hours for free.

Breakfast was hot, warm and deilig! The juice was fresh pressed and not from concentrate. The coffee choices were also amazing as I LOVE Cafe Mocha!

I wish the room had a balcony. The shower glass was only halfway covering the body when showering. You could not adjust the temperature on the thermostats.

Conveniently located, at 300 meters from the bus stop, on the pedestrian street of the city. Bars, coffee shops, restaurants nearby. I can recommend to take breakfast at the hotel, because prices are very high in the city. Compared with other European countries, Norway is a very expensive country, even if you buy from the supermarket. The city is small and nice, and the hotel is on European standard.

Nice location in the centre of modern town and only 15 minutes walk to the old town (Gamlebyen). There is a free ferry to take you across the river. We parked our car in the public parking next to the hotel (fee is needed). Room was modern and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent!
