I have been here several times, so i knew what to expect. Especially the huge breakfast buffet is amazing! Not really crowded this time, so we basically had the breakfast almost for ourselves! Rooms are comfy and clean, bed is almost too comfy (especially if you have a bad back). We were visiting friends and took a stroll down Hamar beach, all the city center restaurants are nearby and the railway station is basically across the street.

The room had no real "lake view" as it was promised, and the big skylight windows are not good to open (and get in some fresh air) when it's raining outside. There's no A/C but a floor heating wich we couldn't turn up or down, so the bathroom was super hot and the bedroom was still too warm for a decent sleep. It was obviously a room for disabled persons - but how the hell can you hang the toilet brush four meters away from the toilet?! Furthermore there were no hooks for things to hang, no shelves to put bath room things on, and basically no wardrobe at all (for two people to put clothes into!).

The straff was very helpful. The room was quiet. The pillows were soft, and there was an extra pillow. The great location allowed me to spot their food court (matkvarteret), as even someone with very little time can spot something 50 meters from the hotel entrance;)

The shower was a bit warm and hard to regulate. But staff came to help :P

I have stayed 3 nights. The warm buffet (eggs and pancakes) was always cold. I believe the warm buffet is broken. I have notified staff, they changed food, but in 5 min buffet got cold again.

Excellent location, breakfast is exceptional. Room not as described, smaller and darker than photos. Internal window ( one not 3, premiere business room) bathroom lovely, hot shower and comfy bed.

Hard to find. No Thon sign. In Victoria Hotel. Room ok but definitely not as in photos. No view at all. Parking a 5 minute walk away (railway underpass)

Breakfast at Victoria Hotel was always the highlitght of the day. Amazing start to the day with such an amazing Breakfast: high its high quality menu and friendly Breakfast service from staff. With reference to the location of Victoria Hotel, I must say it is absolutely idyllic located at the heart of Hamar city within short walking distance from the train station and bus station and everything else around is at hand. The room was cozy considering it was a single bedroom and they have made the most of every space. My room had a lovely view over the Mjosa lake and that itself was priceles, despite the rainy days. But I have made Victoria Hotel my second home as I travel frequently to Hamar all the way from sunny Gran Canaria. Honestly, I would not change Victoria Hotel for any other hotels in the area, precisely because of its location, comfort, and extraordinary guest service. All staff are very friendly and welcomuing. I appreciate the small details - Victoria Hotel always lives up to my expectations. In short: Victoria Hotel is always my first, second and third choice.

I honestly have nothing bad to say about Victoria Hotel as it already feels like home to me. I have no complaint whatsoever. Maybe the during the last stay it was a bit pricey due to High Season and the fact that every hotel in the area were also fully booked.

The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was very nice and big. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, a lot of alternatives and very tasty foods.

People were talking very loud in the hallway outside our room at midnight. We woke up because of this and struggled to sleep again. The room was a little dusty.

View outside our window was incredible! Bed and room size were very comfortable. Breakfast was delightful and very filling... Staff were friendly and very helpful!
