Good breakfast in a crowded room The shuttle worked well. Staff at reception were very nice as we had a bit of a miscommunication. It was resolved vey quickly. Refueling the rental car was close by before returning the car. Good value

Great buffet breakfast. Super clean hotel with great bathroom. Friendly staff. Great location for the airport. Parking right in front of the hotel. Great TV. Trandumskogen War Memorial is about 5 mins drive from the hotel. Free and nice place to visit if you have time.

The parking machine outside the hotel did not work. We then tried to download the parking app which did not work for UK registered phones. There were other hotel guest who had the same issues. Trying to sort this out for about 30 mins while communicating with the staff. After about 45 mins, we were asked to complete a form and paid the hotel for the parking charges. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE IN THE FIRST PLACE TO SAVE TIME AND UNNECESSARY EFFORT!

Friendly, efficient staff all around (front desk, breakfast and clean up staff). The bedding was insanely comfortable and the room was nice and quiet as I needed for my short stay. I slept so very well thank you for helping make that happen. The breakfast also blew me away! It was great all around. The only thing I am betting someone else might have mentioned might make additional great reviews would be the carpets are pretty psychedelic (a little calmer color scheme might be nice). I loved the bathroom and the Scandinavian design of the room! The staff (Maja) was especially helpful! I live in a different country and had a long layover flight. Maja helped me with any detail I asked about and helped me with with how to use the shuttle to travel both to and from the airport. I would like to thank Maja and all the staff working this weekend for a perfect stay. I will recommend this hotel to friends and family. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.

The crazy carpets.

I originally booked a stay at Thon Hotel Gardermoen in December but was informed ahead of time that my reservation had been upgraded to their sister hotel, Thon Hotel Oslo Airport, at no additional cost. This was a pleasant surprise, and my experience at Thon Hotel Oslo Airport was fantastic! The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable—perfect for a restful stay. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options to suit every taste. I particularly appreciated the coffee machine in the reception area. The location is ideal for travelers catching a morning flight. Breakfast starts at 6am. It takes about 10mins to reach the airport by bus.

Incredibly clean room, super comfy bed, very generous and varied breakfast buffet. All staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely and quiet and and excellent sleep. There is no restaurant for evening meals on site though it was literally a 5 minute walk to their sister hotel where both the restaurant and staff were exceptional, we were all very impressed with our meals (hake/burger/gnocchi) and the gentleman who was our server was lovely. We also liked that there was a VERY unusual hidden heritage site literally opposite the hotel hidden in the woods- look it up- creepy and very fun to explore (search klostet- Jessaheim picture added). Would definitely stay in another Thon hotel.

Perhaps signage to the hotel- it seemed quite new, maybe it's not been put up yet but Google maps got us there fine.

The hotel was great! Beds were insanely comfortable and the hotel was very close to the airport-80 NOK for a shuttle. The staff were lovely and the room was clean and spacious- with free tea and coffee. Only thing to bare in mind is there is not many shops or food options in the area. However the hotel thinks ahead and provides a range of ready meals to purchase, a pizza delivery menu and directions to the McDonalds which is a 6 minute walk. Breakfast was a delicious buffet with a huge range of choice- they even had smoothies and energy shots! Would definitely stay again :)

Arrived late at night for a one night layover and reception staff was incredibly nice and welcoming. There’s a shuttle bus (very easy to find from the airport thanks to the signage) that brings you directly to its doorstep in 15 minutes. And the journey back with the shuttle for an early flight the next day was incredibly quick. The room was reasonably comfortable, very quiet and shower pressure was great. The breakfast is hands down one of the best I’ve had in a hotel. Superb! Would definitely come and stay again for a layover.

Despite arriving at 1.30am, the man at the check in desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was the perfect temperature, and very quiet. The breakfast was fabulous. The choice was immense and all the food I tried was fresh, and tasty. I even took a gluten free muffin for my husband who was back in Portugal. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much.

Nothing. It was a brief visit from 1.30 am and I left at 7am but I didn't have a single negative.

Unfriendly staff when checking resulted in an embarrasing scene due to a discussion of a child surcharge of 10 USD (for one rooms and not the second room since the price was the same). They were not able to explain why and only iterated "contact booking.com if you have any complaint about the surcharge". Be aware that there is another Thon Hotel close by so you do not end up there before finding this Thon hotel.

We loved the hotel. The staff were very welcoming, they were very sweet and answered all our questions. A special shout out to Mr. Joost, who smiled and help us with our requests during our stay. He gave us valuable suggestions and also assisted us in ordering our dinner which I think is a very sweet gesture. We will definitely recommend Thon Hotel Gardermoen to people travelling with kids as the bunk beds are super fun for kids to sleep on, I know our kids loved it. Also the commute from the airport to the hotel is very easy, you just need to buy your ticket with any country debit or credit card, hop on to bus number 22 and the bus will drop you off at the hotel entrance which was perfect. Since our flight was early morning the hotel have packed our breakfast for us to go (dont forget to inform the staff about this in advance).

The only thing missing was a in-house restaurant, no doubt there is a petrol station a short walk away from the hotel which has a nice place called deli de luca the had some fast food to grab and go. Also there is a Mc Donald's in the same petrol station.
