Good breakfast in a crowded room The shuttle worked well. Staff at reception were very nice as we had a bit of a miscommunication. It was resolved vey quickly. Refueling the rental car was close by before returning the car. Good value

The hotel was a good price for the area. It was very clean, the gym was nice & had a bottle filler. The lobby had water, coffee & tea available all day which was great. There were coffee pots in the rooms to fill & take back to the room. Our room had a fridge & there was an ice machine in the hallway. There was also a microwave in the lobby area to share. There's a bus stop close by to take to Jessheim area with a large mall & supermarkets. We walked to a large lake not too far from the hotel. There's a nice loop trail around the lake & people swimming & exercising. There were also some walking trails next to the property & a small pond - we saw signs of moose back there. The breakfast was very large, with meats, eggs, pancakes, salmon, cheese, yogurts, oatmeal, breads, croissants, juice & more. Everything was refilled often & kept very clean. A lady even came around to refill coffee/tea at the tables. The front desk staff were all friendly & helpful. They gave us ideas on the area. We would stay again.

It's a large hotel with more than decent facilities. Comfortable beds and even bathtub in the room. All basic things needed and 24/7 reception. It was overnight stay so it was more than good for us. The breakfast included was really great bonus, many meal options and really tasty, so very convenient on a road trip.

Norway is overall quite expensive country and purely for my standard it's a bit pricy for the value. Especially it was unpleasant to discover that the huge parking near the hotel is paid and costs you another 15 EUR (or something like that). I feel this is totally unreasonable given the scale of the hotel and it's parking space. It also didn't seem like it was mentioned anywhere in the hotel description, and if I would knew about it I would find parking elsewhere. Additionally we probably arrived at a busy time and though I was able to checkin very quickly, afterwards there was a line forming and constantly growing of people checking in and waiting. I had a question to personnel and I had to postpone it to next day because they were overwhelmed.

Great buffet breakfast. Super clean hotel with great bathroom. Friendly staff. Great location for the airport. Parking right in front of the hotel. Great TV. Trandumskogen War Memorial is about 5 mins drive from the hotel. Free and nice place to visit if you have time.

The parking machine outside the hotel did not work. We then tried to download the parking app which did not work for UK registered phones. There were other hotel guest who had the same issues. Trying to sort this out for about 30 mins while communicating with the staff. After about 45 mins, we were asked to complete a form and paid the hotel for the parking charges. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE IN THE FIRST PLACE TO SAVE TIME AND UNNECESSARY EFFORT!

Great value for money! The hotel is modern, very clean, and equipped with everything you might need – including a hairdryer, iron, and other essentials. Breakfast was excellent and far beyond expectations. The staff is friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to any questions. Service is efficient, and the location is perfect for a stopover. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Basically, there’s nothing particularly negative or unusual that I didn’t like. It’s simply an economy-type hotel.

Friendly, efficient staff all around (front desk, breakfast and clean up staff). The bedding was insanely comfortable and the room was nice and quiet as I needed for my short stay. I slept so very well thank you for helping make that happen. The breakfast also blew me away! It was great all around. The only thing I am betting someone else might have mentioned might make additional great reviews would be the carpets are pretty psychedelic (a little calmer color scheme might be nice). I loved the bathroom and the Scandinavian design of the room! The staff (Maja) was especially helpful! I live in a different country and had a long layover flight. Maja helped me with any detail I asked about and helped me with with how to use the shuttle to travel both to and from the airport. I would like to thank Maja and all the staff working this weekend for a perfect stay. I will recommend this hotel to friends and family. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.

The crazy carpets.

I originally booked a stay at Thon Hotel Gardermoen in December but was informed ahead of time that my reservation had been upgraded to their sister hotel, Thon Hotel Oslo Airport, at no additional cost. This was a pleasant surprise, and my experience at Thon Hotel Oslo Airport was fantastic! The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable—perfect for a restful stay. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options to suit every taste. I particularly appreciated the coffee machine in the reception area. The location is ideal for travelers catching a morning flight. Breakfast starts at 6am. It takes about 10mins to reach the airport by bus.

It's very much a budget hotel, but an exceptional one. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed, sparkling clean bathroom and excellent WiFi. There was absolutely no noise at night. On this occasion, it was great value for money, significantly cheaper than the hotels at the airport itself.

The location is a little out of the way, requiring a 15-minute ride on a shuttle bus (which runs every 30 minutes and costs 80 kr.) Breakfast starts quite late for an airport hotel, with only grab-and-go bags available before 0600.

I needed a hotel for 2 nights in between flights ... I thought the Thon Hotel Gardermoen was closer to the airport, but there is a local bus (450) from the airport to the hotel. There is also a shuttle for 80 NOK. The room was spacious and had everything I needed, it was only at the very end of the hotel, corridor after corridor. Breakfast was plentiful, only gripe I could have, no hot chocolate or I didn't see it. Staff was very friendly.

for 2 nights? no complaints

Incredibly clean room, super comfy bed, very generous and varied breakfast buffet. All staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely and quiet and and excellent sleep. There is no restaurant for evening meals on site though it was literally a 5 minute walk to their sister hotel where both the restaurant and staff were exceptional, we were all very impressed with our meals (hake/burger/gnocchi) and the gentleman who was our server was lovely. We also liked that there was a VERY unusual hidden heritage site literally opposite the hotel hidden in the woods- look it up- creepy and very fun to explore (search klostet- Jessaheim picture added). Would definitely stay in another Thon hotel.

Perhaps signage to the hotel- it seemed quite new, maybe it's not been put up yet but Google maps got us there fine.
