We booked this hotel for our last night in Oman as it is located very close to the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque so we could visit it in the morning and then be on our way to the airport for our afternoon flight. The hotel is very clean, nice and comfortable room, efficient staff, excellent breakfast buffet and we had a very good salad for dinner as well. As it was raining very heavily the night we checked in we couldn't experience the very appealing looking swimming pool on the roof. Perhaps next time we will visit Oman we will manage to do so!

The rooms were big, clean and comfortable. Good central location to Muscat with most sights within a 5-10 minute drive away. Most of the staff were very polite and welcoming. Breakfast was good and changed most days with different foods available every morning.

We had paid for a premium king room with a landmark view, however the view from the room wasn't great. We were on the 2nd floor looking at a brick wall of the building opposite.

Great location to explore Muscat. This is the second time I’ve stayed here as I enjoyed my visit so much last time. Great amenities in the immediate vicinity and within the hotel itself- lovely spa facilities and choice of restaurants. Staff very friendly and polite and go out of their way to help. Good choice of food for room service which was delivered quickly and was very tasty.

The pool area was sadly a little shabby. Lots of tiles missing and lying at the bottle of the pool which was heavily over-chlorinated. I could feel my skins burning as I went for a swim.

This is a very good hotel for access to airport and also muscat centre via taxis. Rooms are modern, comfortable and very clean. Front desk staff very helpful and kind. Breakfasts are high standard with very good choice available. Pool and gym area also good for relaxing. Overall, this hotel is excellent value for money and as good as (if not better in some respects) than other big name hotels in Muscat. We stayed 6 nights and felt relaxed and refreshed after our stay. I would recommend this hotel highly for either an overnight or extended stay.

Although we had booked 4 months in advance, and specifically requested a quiet room, we were given a room with connecting door and noisy neighbours. Although we were moved to a quiet room the next day, this was a bad mistake and is the only reason for not giving 10/10 overall.

The service was exceptional, as were the amenities. Convenient location for restaurants, car rentals, and stores. The wifi was pretty good despite temporary unavailability one evening, which was quickly resolved. Spa service was excellent. All in all, the hotel staff was attentive to guests' needs. It's an excellent value when staying in Oman.

One small yet important incident: stained bed sheets that had not been changed from the night before. I brought it up to reception, who apologized and immediately addressed it. It's of prime importance that sheets and towels be bleached and clean. If they're stained, best to discard and invest in more. Otherwise, the Centara is great.

We booked two rooms, and both were spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and supportive throughout our stay. The location is convenient, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was excellent, offering a good variety of options. I also appreciated that they later took measures to cover the fruits, which showed attentiveness to guest feedback.

The swimming pool could use some maintenance, as it didn’t appear to be in the best condition. Additionally, I noticed mosquitoes around the uncovered fruits during breakfast on two occasions. However, this issue was later addressed by covering the fruits, which helped resolve the concern.

Our stay at the hotel in Oman was absolutely great! The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. But the best part of the whole experience was the staff – they were incredibly friendly and helpful. Amazing service that truly made an impression! Would recommend this place to everyone travelling to Muscat in Oman. Special thanks to Sui, she was truly kind and amazing. She helped us navigate around and came up with suggestions of activities we could do in town. She really made our experience in the hotel fantastic and unforgettable.

Only downside was that the floors inside the small pool. It had some broken parts.

The location was excellent, with easy access to Route 1, a major road, and just a 10-minute drive to the airport. The hotel offered free parking, and if the lot was full, there were always free spaces available nearby. We had breakfast at the hotel every day, and it was a good, varied selection. They had an omelet station and offered different egg options like Eggs Benedict and scrambled eggs. There were also hot breakfast items, fresh fruit, and coffee machines available. I’m very particular about cleanliness, and we had no issues at all. The room service was excellent and flexible, accommodating our requests for late cleaning when needed. The room was well-equipped with a safe, fridge, hairdryer, iron and ironing table and coffee/tea facilities, and they provided complimentary bottled water daily. The rooftop pool was a great feature, with lounge chairs around it. We managed to use it a couple of times when we had some free time, and it was really lovely. However, there was no poolside bar, so we had to go down to the lobby for drinks or coffee. The rooftop bar was nice, though often quiet in the evenings. A couple of nights a week, they offer buffet-style food and live music, which you have to pay for, but it’s reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Since we were a large group, we booked three rooms and requested a room change for my parents, as they had been assigned a disabled-access room they didn’t prefer. The staff accommodated our request without any issues.

The restaurant has poor ventilation, especially during breakfast. Since there’s no ventilation above the omelet station, the entire space fills with food odors. Each time we left, we noticed our clothes smelled strongly of food.

I really enjoyed my stay at Centara. I booked very last minute and they were able to sort out an airport taxi for me which I was able to communicate with via WhatsApp upon arrival. The hotel is right across the road from supermarkets, restaurants and other hotels. It’s also a short taxi ride from different attractions as well. When I arrived, were very welcoming and helped me get taxis through the OTAXI app (id definitely recommend getting it if you visit Oman) The room was lovely and spacious. Bed was so soft and comfortable. My only downside for the hotel was the breakfast. Being a big foodie and breakfast lover, I was expecting a bit more. However it was okay and the staff were attentive when needed. When I called room service, they never answered but when you are with the staff members they are very helpful. On an upside though, the other restaurant in the hotel was amazing!

you would need a car for the location the room was spacious and very clean staff was very helpful but never replayed to my message when i told them that we both got food poison at their roof restaurant the night before :(

the bits of tiles missing out the pool could be dangerous and of course the food poison we got from the roof restaurant the night before we left made us loose a day and left with a horrible feeling , i did send a message and told the receptionist but never received an answer, the receptionist was very apologetic and said she will contact us but of course nothing received : (
