The bathroom was very nice. I love the idea of having the toilet in a separate cubicle within the bathroom. The shower is very nice with the big rain shower and strong water pressure and the bathtub is very comfortable. The room is also comfortable, spacious, and well designed. The location is not special but you can easily go to various areas in the city from there so it is practical. The valet service are kind and helpful. In the end, for the rate we paid, the stay was of very good value.

We were not able to make a tab for the room, so we had to pay our room service and breakfast on the spot, and at the breakfast, they came chasing us when we were still being seated, to pay in advance as if we were outsiders who were going to dine and run. Our room was on the second floor with a very bad view on a wall.

My stay at the hotel was absolutely wonderful! The hotel is spotless, perfectly located, and offers free valet parking such a great bonus. The staff truly made the difference; a huge thank you to Hassan, Imran, and Firas for their warm and attentive service from beginning to end. You were amazing! The room was also much bigger and better than expected, the photos really don’t do it justice! I highly recommend this hotel; it fully deserves its stars. The rooms are very spacious: large beds, plenty of open space, and a well-thought-out layout ensure a comfortable stay. If extra room is important to you, you’ll appreciate this. However, the location isn’t the most convenient for those wanting quick access to Muscat’s central district or the harbor: most outings require a car or taxi. And there’s a catch: only the hotel’s own vehicles can enter the premises, and their rates are above average. Standard city taxis aren’t permitted to drive onto the property, which can be a minor inconvenience for budget travelers or anyone who prefers hailing cabs on the street—worth noting if you plan to be on the move frequently. Overall, if you prioritize spacious accommodations, a stylish rooftop retreat, and high-quality service, Mövenpick Ghala Muscat is an excellent choice. But if you need walkable access to main attractions and easy boarding for city taxis, you might want to look for a hotel closer to the center.

The hotel’s location is a drawback, as it’s quite far from Muscat’s central district and harbor. There are also taxi issues: only the hotel’s own vehicles can enter the premises (at higher-than-average rates), and standard city taxis aren’t allowed to pick up or drop off directly at the hotel.

Our honeymoon stay at this hotel was truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel was impeccably clean—the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in—and it always smelled fresh and inviting. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for, with a level of service that was consistently outstanding. The food was exceptional—every meal was something we genuinely looked forward to. We were so impressed with every aspect of our stay that we ended up extending it just to enjoy a few more days in such a wonderful place. We’ve stayed at many hotels before, but none come close to the experience we had here. This hotel truly sets the standard.

Excellent stay at Mövenpick Muscat I had a wonderful experience at Mövenpick Muscat. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and always happy to help. The room was comfortable, modern, and spotless — perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. Breakfast was a highlight, with a great selection of both local and international options, all beautifully presented and delicious. The location is also very convenient, close to the airport and with easy access to various attractions around Muscat. I would definitely stay here again. A top choice for anyone looking for quality, comfort, and great service in Muscat.

The vest thing about our stay here was the friendly and very helpful staff. They made such an exception to our stay. Hearing your name after a “Good morning” when you walk in the restaurant for breakfast, or after having been a few times to the gym already seems like a little thing, but it goes a long way. I felt like being at home after a few days already. The rooms are super nice, spacious with cool design elements and the rooftop pool is the best place to hang out. The location is also great, sort of in between the airport and the centre. Easy to get anywhere with a taxi. Can’t wait to be back here again! Thank you for all your kindness!
