The hotel is only 10/15 mins from the airport and costs less than 2 OMR! I recommend you download the OTAXI app which is excellent. The hotel is in a good location with many places to eat and well stocked local supermarkets within walking distance. The hotel is very central to most things (you will need a car/taxi) but again I found using OTAXI very cheap. Sultan Qaboos Mosque is less than 10 mins to walk - you will need to be completely covered up if you’re female. There are many bars scattered around but obviously these are not publicised. Google them and just jump in a cab. Some offer happy hour deals 5-8pm. The hotel itself was faultless, spotlessly clean, nice gym (small but well equipped) lovely rooftop pool area that was never busy which is good as there’s only 4 sun lounges. Pool towels are provided to. My room was perfect and cleaned thoroughly most days. It had everything I needed, good kitchen facilities including a fresh water fountain, ample plug sockets, very comfortable bed, iron, hairdryer etc. The staff were very nice, polite and helpful when needed. I didn’t eat at the hotel but did buy coffee from the coffee shop which I highly recommend. All in all this hotel is excellent and I would 100% stay again. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Muzna the girl at the Reception was always ready to help me in Muscat. The Hotel is exactly like on the pictures... new and confortable. The bed wonderful to sleep and the swimming pool on the top an Oasis to relax. I'm European and I can recommend to all European, the same standard like in Europe. The Grand Mosque of Qaboos to 8 minutes on walk, however the rest of the area is nothing interesting. Muhannad the boy at night called me a Taxi 🙂 with the App Otaxi (better price) to Airport.... The room category we originally booked had only a quite dark room available. When we asked to change rooms, we received a smaller room. However, to make up for it the manager offered us free breakfast. This was highly appreciated and credits for this go the the manager of the hotel. Breakfast was delicious! They provide a big water tank in each room where you can refill your water bottle. Free parking available right in front of the hotel.

The temperature control in our room didn't work properly. Either it was too hot or when we changed the temperature by 1 degree it got freezing. It would be nice if the breakfast was served until 11 instead of 10.

- Clean, comfortable rooms and very convenient to have a kitchen with good utensils to prepare a meal. - Good soundproofing from the outside. - Friendly and helpful staff. - Parking right in front with spaces always available.

- The room I stayed at had an adjoining door to another room (occupied by someone else). Noises really carry through the door and I could hear the guests in the other room as if they were inside mine. This made my experience less optimal than desired. - I asked for a quiet room at check-in and they gave me the room closest to the elevators and the cleaning staff storage area. I was too tired to go down to complain but I think the staff could be a bit more aware of what a "quiet room" means.

- we were allowed early check in and are very grateful about that; also, they upgraded us to a much bigger room (thank you again) - really nice lady at the reception - location is perfect, close to the airport and to the mosque - swimming pool on the rooftop (very clean)

- due to bad ventilation system (probably), out bathroom smelled of cigarette smoke quite badly; we are non smokers so this bothered us - our room was located one floor beneath the gym and in the morning some people lifted weights and threw them on the floor after being done … and this woke us up both mornings at about 6 am

For the price (we paid £50 a night) it was well worth the money. It’s not a particularly luxurious hotel, but still it is very modern, has a clean rooftop pool (which barely anyone uses), and the room is spacious and well equipped. The location is perfect to walk to Sultan Qaboos Mosque (10 mins max) but it’s quite far out of the centre. Although I wouldn’t really say there is a ‘centre’ in Musqat. Muttrah is where most tourist hotspots lie but it’s fairly cheap go get a taxi or drive if you have a rental. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful and it overall has a very professional feel. The only downside, is that the surroundings of the hotel are a bit dirty and there is no proper path. But for the money, you can’t really complain.

We loved the flexibility of making our own meals with the facilities provided our eating out. We only used the on-site restaurant once and that was for breakfast. A reasonable choice of buffet. We had adjoining rooms which we opened up allowing us to effectively stay together as a family. Rooms were really nice and kept very clean.

Wi-Fi access was limited to numbers of devices which meant that we couldn’t all log onto our devices. Whilst we loved the rooftop pool, there were only 4 sun loungers. The pool area is not big but definitely room to put a couple of more sun beds.

Staff are super friendly, amazingly accommodating, always welcoming; I loved every interaction with them. The facility is very new and very clean. Close to basic shopping nearby and to two hypermarkets and big malls, but you still need a car. Rooms are well lit

The property is listed as 4-star. It certainly falls short of a 4-star in terms of the facility's luxury. Breakfast was just okay; the restaurant owner was hesitant to refill the drinks and food and had to be reminded. The offering was just okay, nothing very exciting. The lobby looked less elegant than the rooms The bathroom is not properly designed so the water from the shower flows all over bathroom and there is no way to stop it. Kitchen is not well furnished, there were not enough plates and cups and silverware for even a simple meal. I had to buy disposable stuff. There was only one outlet for all of the electrical equipment so you couldn't boil the water and toast the bread at the same time.

Probably the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. The room was clean, with a kitchen and a spacious bathroom, and offered a beautiful view of the city. Excellent breakfast for 4 OMR. The restaurant was amazing, and the food was the best we had in Oman.

Our room was located on the 6th floor, nearby a smoking area. The unbearable smell of cigarette smoke spread through the ventilation system. It felt like being in a bar where dozens of people were smoking. The windows could not be opened. We requested a room change, but it wasn’t possible due to the hotel being fully booked. Our hair and all our belongings reeked of cigarettes. The smell of smoke even woke us up during the night.

We had early flight to Oman and when we came to the hotel, they gave us the room more than 4 hours before check in. We were and still are very grateful. Room was very cozy, nice roof top pool, breakfast was delicious. Everything was perfect.
