Location was good. There is little in the way of public transport beyond buses, so reliant upon feet and taxi - thus i don't think location much matters in Muscat as long as it is fairly central. 15-20 mins from airport via taxi - no need to leave 3-4 hrs. 2hrs is fine. Good room size with superb King Bed - pillows hit and miss but i rarely find any i like so maybe that's me. Fridge, kettle and usual amenities, facilities and accoutrements. Good shower bathroom additions. Safe was secure and sizable. Work space useful and plenty of storage and shelving with UK power outlets so no adapters required. Clean functional lifts, nice communal areas and sylish lobby. Staff friendly, polite and helpful.

Nothing. It was all perfectly fine and dandy. A bit like a smaller version of a midtown Sheraton.

The location, everything is close. Across the streets there are malls. The rooms were spatious and clean. Free parking in the garage. It has a rooftop bar and pool, also a spa.

Breakfast could have more variety. Pool closes at 8pm, which is very unfortunate since people are touring around during the day and at the evening you don't have the opportunity to relax at the pool. The temperature at night is high, so I would love to use the pool till 10pm for example.

All facilities in the hotel were amazing and especially the included breakfast. Also all housekeeping staff and bell people that I communicated with were extremely helpful and nice, made me feel like at home.

We ordered food for takeout and after storing it in the fridge for the night, we just wanted to warm it up in the morning. There's no microwave in the room so we called front desk to see if that can help us with warming it up somewhere, but they said it's not possible:/ This is not a huge deal, but I've been in other hotels with even less stars who go above and beyond for guests in that matter (so just a tip for the future maybe).

EXCELLENT SERVICE : team always happy and available to help : special thanks to Marwa (you rock 😘), Samson, Omab, Komal and Rebicca (thanks Ladies!), and last but not least (as I forgot all the others, sorry …), Rahul and the team for the excellent housekeeping. Without you, we are dead 🙄. 2. Fantastic BREAKFAST with tonnes of options and very good diner offering good quality dishes (see videos). If not included, dinner is 12 OMR/pers. 3. The room : although the furniture is not that modern, the room (room 724 : we had 2 twin beds) is perfectly maintained and cleaned. Lots of space and I like to find the mirror (grossissant), le pèse-personnes that works, a small fridge, lights in the cupboard, a privacy device (see pictures) and a complete coffee/tea in-tray. Also bottles of water are daily provided. 4. Sports facilities : a big fitness room, an interior and exterior jacuzzis, a big sauna and hamam, and a big swimming pool. We also experienced the massages by the SPA salon at the ground floor. Thanks to Yasmine and her colleague for the excellent relaxing massage we paid 72 OMR for the basic massage (80 OMR -10% as hotel guests). 5. Location of the hotel : near by the Oman Avenue Mall and local shops and restaurants (very practical) and 10 mins driving from the biggest Mall of Oman.

The - points : - We cannot open the windows so to have fresh air, you need to put the AC on, on a regular basis. But we (my Mum and I) did not want to use the AC… - For the interior sauna, hamam and jacuzzi : most of the time, it was off (cold) presumably for energy saving. So before using them, make sure the responsible has put the machines on at least 30-45 minutes prior to use.

Rooms were clean and well maintained. Staff are really friendly. Cleaning staff are amazing. Always stock you up with everything you need. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are easy to use and modern. Lifts are efficient. Definitely a good hotel to stay in to explore Muscat if you have a car! Parking is very useful.

Do NOT use the tourism company which is located near the reception. Didn't take us to the right place and put us in danger!! Did not reply to any correspondence afterwards either. I had an amazing stay at the Royal Tulip Hotel! The location is ideal—convenient and close to everything you need, including a big mall and hypermarket where you can find everything. The hotel itself is spotless, with spacious rooms that make you feel right at home. The staff is incredibly friendly, and a special shout-out to Jahid, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect—he’s truly a gem! The pool and sauna are great for unwinding after a day of exploring. Everything about my stay was top-notch, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and excellent service.

Good breakfast although repetitive, location was very central to most places of interest. Staff very friendly, Mohammed, Ahmed and Hamed… all very friendly welcoming and helpful. Pool was quite small not as it appears in images but nonetheless it was a pleasant atmosphere. The management very kindly welcomed us with towel art and roses on the bed and some cake for our anniversary. This was 1 of 2 hotels we booked and after 4 days here we spent a luxurious night at the Chedi.

Room had a damp smell upon entering, the staff were helpful and offered to changed our room but we felt it was the same in all rooms they offered. It’s only an initial smell, after few seconds it does go…

The royal tulip was so great. The property was modern and clean with very friendly staff, they were always available whenever you needed them 24/7. The cleaners did such an amazing job every day as well. The AC worked perfectly in the room and the bed was so comfortable. Also, the rooms were SO quiet, we didn’t hear any noise from outside or other rooms. Even in the hallways, everything was quiet, and that was really important for us. The location was really nice too, there’s plenty of stuff around the area to see and it’s a quick drive from many sites. We really enjoyed our stay here and will plan to stay here in Muscat in the future Inshallah.

I’ve been staying at this hotel for the past two years, and it has consistently provided excellent service. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Hassan at reception, whose professionalism and kindness truly enhance the experience. The location is also fantastic, close to key attractions and amenities.

However, I’ve noticed that the prices have been increasing unseasonably over the years, which is disappointing. While the quality of service is great, I hope the management considers more stable and reasonable pricing for loyal guests. Overall, it’s still a good choice for a comfortable stay

I had a great stay for 4 nights - it was the best hotel I’ve stayed in Oman so far! The best thing about this place is the level of customer service!! All staff are friendly, helpful and look pleased to be working there. I have been in many hotels and this has some of the best staff with the best manners / people skills. All were great but a Special mention to: - Bindu on reception - was always smiling and helpful, she knew I was going on a trip on my last day in Oman so delayed my checkout time. The hotel is lucky to have her. - Eimran on the pool terrace - was always interacting with guests and kept the pool area in order. Great guy. - Jishan and the guys in the lobby areas (sorry I forgot all the names!) - They were polite and helpful with luggage and had knowledge of the local area so I knew where to go when I wanted to watch the World Cup games or if I needed SIM cards/ shops etc. The property is in a convenient location with shops / restaurants / supermarkets / cafes all walking distance. It is also a short distance between avenue mall / grand mall and mall of Oman. My room was very comfortable and spacious. Cleaning was done everyday to a high standard and the bed was great, water is provided after ever clean and the TV has basic channels, I’d recommend getting more. Overall it was a great stay in a luxurious hotel for a decent price, no complaints at all and I will be booking again when I’m back in Oman. Thanks!
