Room was very big and the space was amazing! It was very clean and everything was very well neat(organized). Breakfast was awesome and there were a lot of variety of different dishes to choose from. Gina in the reception works very hard and she did a fantastic job by being very helpful and also by always having a smile on the face. This is very important for me as a guest. All the other workers of either the reception, kitchen and the cleaning staff members are very kind and very helpful. Location was great, it is located very near to the city center and the places i have visited. I really loved my stay in Muscat Inn Hotel. It was amazing!!!!

I stayed at the Muscat Inn for four nights. The hotel is close to the Grand Mosque, which is within easy walking distance. For the rest of the way, you'll have to take a bus or book a taxi. Booking a taxi is very easy and inexpensive with OTaxi, the Omani Uber. There's also a large mall nearby, about a 15-minute walk away. You can buy almost anything there. The entire hotel isn't the most modern, of course, but it's perfectly adequate. After all, it's not France, but Oman. You just have to get your bearings a bit. Check-in and the staff were helpful. I don't even know if there's breakfast, but I didn't book one. But there's a small cafe where you can probably get something to eat. I didn't visit that either. I always ate out. Wi-Fi was stable during my stay. For the price, the service was perfectly fine.

I really just booked this to rest a few hours between the ballet and my flight home and was pleasantly surprised what my money bought me here. The area is okay, right next to the highway (hotel has good sound proofing), and you can easily walk to Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and some low key older outdoor malls. There are a few decent restaurants in walking distance. Altogether it's probably not the most touristy area, and is quite low-key, lots of car workshops, hospitals, some residential buildings nearby. It's very easy to get to the airport, about 12 minutes. I would say the hotel is more like a business hotel no nonsense, clean, functional. My room was huge and even had a balcony. There were a few smudges on some of the interior here and there, but nothing major. BAthroom huge and clean, comfortable mattress, I had a very nice sleep before my flight.

Nothing really for the money I paid. It's spartan and functional, not a design hotel and that is reflecfed in the price.

Lady from reception(local one) was kind and nice. Other reception members too. Size of the room is really nice; view is nice,it catch even great mosque. Good internet. Water, towels and other things provided when needed

Toilet is old and not in good condition. Toilet seat eater was broken and leaking, mould was on the walls. Necessary renovation. Location is bit far from corniche but near ti shopping mall and mosque, but for tourist things you need taxi anyway

The Hotel was in its prime location . It’s almost heart of Muscat that is so accessible to 3 big malls ( oman mall, avenues and grand mall). Hotel room was awesome facing the beautiful mountains of Muscat - it’s breathtaking. Staff were so flexible to mentioned Gina in reception was the best , she even granted my request for late check out as my flight is at 7 pm . Housekeeping people are superb- the room was so clean . Definitely, looking forward of my next stay once I come back to Muscat and without a doubt will certainly come back on the same hotel. What do they have posted regarding the room pictures is absolutely what you got once you checked in the room. Totally amazing stay.

The hotel is located in a smoothly reachable location in the city, as per the map/address shared. The locality is quiet and calm with a beautiful mountain (far) and city view from the top/balcony. The property offered me the exact room, matching my booking, with all the minute details mentioned in the booking.com portal. Starting from a mini refrigerator, electric kettle, television, table, bed, sheets everything was neatly arranged and maintained. The housekeeping was much more efficient in refilling the consumable items regularly while keeping the room super clean. Undoubtedly all the staff, the reception was very friendly, cooperative. They were just a call away for all minor issues also, even in the late hours. My access card had stopped working a couple of times, and they helped me fix the issue in no time. I surely would recommend this hotel to all solo and family travelers; worth the comfort and location.

Rather a few suggestions actually, the bathroom should be renovated, as it looked a bit rusty. Access card issues should be checked and fixed, before the guest's arrival.

There are many positive aspects to mention. I really admired the décor of the room and the aesthetic structure of the building. It is quite centrally-located with good transportation and dining opportunities. Kind reception, nice lobby and smart check-in. In essence, this hotel is a great option with its good amenities accompanied by its affordable price.

A major backlash is that the sink leaks and appeasing the leaking water is a tough job. The hotel management should fix it.

The Muscat Inn Hotel is situated at a very convenient spot: it is approximately 10 km from the airport and rather 20 km from the Muttrah market and the Corniche. The rooms are spacious and from the balcony, you can have a good view of the main street. Breakfast may not be offered, but still there are other options for a coffee or a snack. Supermarkets and cafe shops, are found nearby and in 15' min, you can reach the two malls, Oman Avenues and Grand Muscat, both reachable by feet. People at the reception have been of utmost help 24 hours per day and I would like to thank them!

The staff especially Jina was amazing. Despite the black outs in the hotel due to rain (some other hotels also experienced that due to rain), she tried everything and had the technician checked and fixed the problems. A hairdryer and kettle are provided. The balcony is nice. The shower is strong and comfortable. The mattress is also thick. There is a lift too.

It is a bit dated. Some parts on the basin leak but it didnt affect much if you dont put things near the tab. The shower tiles also look a bit old but if it is just for a few days with this price, it can be tolerated.

All staff were super friendly and helpful. Location was good - 10 minute walk from the Mosque. Balcony was nice to sit and look out at the world passing by. Room was huge! Room was equipt with a tv, kettle, tea/coffee, desk, air con, table and chairs etc. Bathroom was of a good size. Bed was reasonably comfortable. Easy location for Ubers to collect and drop off. Area was safe and quiet, both day and night.

We had no hot water for half of our stay. The toilet also didn't flush for half of our stay, despite staff coming to look at the issue and trying to fix it each time.
