The hotel has great location in Mutrah, so restaurants, cafés, Mutrah Souq and waterfront promenade is in very short walking distance. The room was spacious (we had a room with 2 bedrooms for 4 persons). Very comfortable beds, good bathroom. Very good breakfast, the breakfast room is also a café with good offer of coffees and teas. Very kind and helpful staff. The parking can be an issue if you come later afternoon, but if you come until 3 / 4pm, there is no problem to park next to the hotel.

I picked this hotel for the location, I wanted to be near the markets/souq/forts/restaurants/etc and it was great because it was, the room is not very big but honestly I didnt care, im not going to Oman to stay in my room, it was very clean and everything worked, I did want to save some money so I didnt get the beachfront view which I regretted later. BESSAM (I hope I wrote it right) was the person who checked us in and was EXTREMELY nice/polite/helpful with every single request/question I had.

Central position to walk in Mutrah and access to some local restaurants. We were lucky to have a room with a sea view (only a few of them have it). They serve good, honest coffee for breakfast. The staff is concise but practical. A taxi waits in front of it ( use the app Otaxi. Otherwise, they will suggest you pay more, most of the time double). The best restaurant in Oman is across the street, Al bait Luban.

You have to ask for the air dryer. Laundry service is provided externally. The entry is on the side of the building.

Location-location-location! Near to many restaurants and cafes, souk, fish market, water front, bus stand, HOHO, mini market etc. All are Walking distances. Staffs are so nice and explain/suggest many good places to visits. Breakfast also good and the staf also nice.

We are muslim and need clean place to pray. When housekeeping clean our room they wear shoes and the mop they used to mop the room is the same mop they use to mop toilets etc. Maybe that is the way all hotels did.

Fantastic hotel. Amazing staff and very thoughtful to the customers needs. Room comfortable and very clean. Great location. Would go back without hesitation. The service was like a 5* hotel.

Shower floor a little slippy so be careful. I emailed twice about organizing airport transfer / how best to get to the hotel before arriving but did not receive an answer. I made my own way in the end. Considering how fantastic the staff are when you are there, I don´t know exactly what happened.

Breakfast was very generous and varied, the last two days a buffet. The location could not be better. We walked from there to restaurants and the old soup as well to hikes, to the Sultan palace area, etc. After trying a few, we always went to the restaurant closest to the hotel (on the left looking at the hotel) where they know how to cook seafood. Oman has a lot to offer in terms of warmth and friendliness of people, spectacular natural sites (wadis, coastline, high mountains) and historical sites (forts, castles, palaces, etc). Even the modern architecture is in general much nicer as in other countries as it always includes classical elements. Hardly any high rise buildings which ruin the panorama. We went three non consecutive days on a trip with an outstanding guide Salim S Al Maawali from the Miracle Oman agency. He has an engineering degree from UK, is very knowledgeable about history, nature, modern developments, etc. We had endless, very interesting conversations about the Oman culture and many other topics. He is also an excellent driver.

A bed table lamp would be useful. There is continuous noise from the car traffic. This is a problem the state should tackle as there is no reason why the through traffic should go by the corniche. Then, the corniche would become a fantastic walk. They should also have more pedestrian crossing where old Muscat is (there is only one). Taxi don't have a meter, always ask before the ride how much it is to the location you want to reach: e.g. 7 Rials to the Grand Mosque, 10-12 Rials to the airport.

Perfect location in the heart of Muttrah. So close to the souk, the fort, cafés and the fishing market. Not mentionning the taxi station in the front of the hotel (that's a big plus for travellers).Definitely a good place to have a local experience in Muscate. My favorite moment of the day during my stay : watching sunrise and sunset from my room which had stunning views on the sea and the corniche Promenade.

The location is great in the centre of Muttrah, the breakfast was very nice, lots of options, staff was kind too. Room was clean which was great!

The air in the room was very stuffed for some reason even if I opened the window. But it was still ok for a few days.

You can't ask for a better location in Muttrah. You can watch the sunrise over the corniche, have a 5 minute walk to the fish market and the Souq, while having a coffee shop within the hotel. The rooms were spacious and had all of the essentials. Everything is wheelchair accessible and easy for bringing luggage in and out. Very accomodating with fresh towels and plenty of water. All of the activities we wanted to do in the city were a short 20 min drive or less. You are nicely located to get to the mountains in every direction.

The only thing that needs improved at this property is the breakfast, it was included but the food was not very good. If you are expecting an all inclusive resort this is not it. Simple and you get what you pay for.
