Wonderful location! Staff is super helpful and polite. I was to specifically mention: 1. Mohamed Ilias (for making us wonderful elephants and turtles out of towels on the bed!) 2. Rajeev (for making us excellent masala tea for breakfast and attending to us in a great way) 3. The hotel accommodated my gluten free and dairy free diet, even changed their usual recipes to fit this. Thank you

Maybe the room felt a bit small but overall super. Food was average maybe a bit more care with food to make it a food destination

The hotel is very clean and bright. The staff is nice and helpful. We arrived before the check in time and they found us a room anyway even if we have to wait one hour for that. The breakfast is excellent and the food in general is great (we tried the Peridot buffet and the bar on the beach). The beach is awsome and very quite. The beds comfortable. The room was awsome and big and they have an espresso machine (with Illy coffee! Very appreciated from us italian people!).

The swimming pool is not heated so I was freezing to swim there after sunset. And would be nice to have an heated jacuzzi! The happy hour in the bar is a little boring as there are only few seats outside in the balcony and inside is not so nice. Not many options for the mocktails. I suggest instead the beach bar for the drinks!

Staff were amazing, really attentive and friendly. Rooms were spacious, lovely view. House keeping were great. Pool was clean, plenty of sunbeds around the pool and beach. Gym facilities (and showers) were great, including tennis and activities. Concierge, reception and valet service were brilliant.

We expected to pay a lot for the food as the menu is available online, however the quality of the food for the price wasn’t worth it, it was average food for very expensive prices. We made the decision not to eat at any of the hotel restaurants after the first night as decided it wasn’t worth the value, we ate at restaurants within muscat which were delicious and reasonably priced. If you plan to explore, it’s worth getting a car as is quite far from places.

Breakfast was wonderful, great choice. Hotel staff lovely and provided excellent service. Dinner menu was good and quality of food on the whole was excellent. Good communication and sense of care all round. Pool was a nice temperature. Gym was modern, large and well maintained. Rooms were very comfortable, excellent beds with choice of pillows. Very quite at night. We slept well. Hotel located boys' room next door which was very convenient. Beach facilities were extensive, clean and well maintained, beach service was great. Cleanliness hotel-wide was excellent.

Mainly issues beyond hotel's control. Toxic and powerful odour from nearby refinery when wind was in certain direction. We had to leave our room. I felt nauseous for a while. Sea was so warm it was no relief for the heat and humidity. Air quality in Oman isn't great. Pools should be larger and perhaps more of them. Facilities such as five a side or basket ball court/net and backboard would cater for the younger guests, better and cheaper aquatic sports equipment - proper kayaks, more paddle boards etc. Better marketing about impact on facilities due to out of season stay - one restaurant shut at 5pm, no yoga teacher, no stand in yoga teacher. Appreciate hotel requires high standard for taxis but OMR14 hotel pick up to Muscat and OMR6.3 return journey seems an extreme difference.

Fantastic sea view. Spacious and modern rooms. Very beautiful beach with turtles). Extremely helpful staff. Great buffet breakfasts and dinners. Wi-fi works everywhere.

Everything was perfect

Our stay at this hotel was amazing! We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The surroundings are beautiful, with stunning nature all around. The restaurants on-site were amazing, and we especially loved the Mexican one- the food was delicious.

The only downside was the check-out experience. The same receptionist who checked us in completely ignored us when we were leaving and didn’t even say hello. It seemed like it was because we didn’t leave a cash tip, but unfortunately, we simply didn’t have any

Our family stay at Jumeirah Muscat Bay was exceptional. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, with a refreshing drink upon arrival. We had two connecting rooms, which felt private and spacious. The rooms were spotless thanks to the housekeeping. The balcony offered stunning sunrise and sunset views, and the pillow menu was a unique touch. The dining experience was excellent, especially breakfast with its variety and accommodating staff. The resort features top-notch facilities: three pools, a kids’ club (which my son loved), a spa, and water sports like kayaking, which led to an incredible cave adventure. The beach was clean and well-guarded, ensuring safety for everyone. Booking the premium lounge access is a must! It was efficient and offered breakfast, afternoon tea with sweets, and light dinner from 6–8 pm, all served by wonderful staff. The location is about 45 minutes from the airport but scenic and peaceful. Overall, a hassle-free, luxurious retreat with outstanding service. Highly recommended for relaxation and adventure seekers alike!

The only hiccup during our stay was that while checking out, I discovered an unexpected charge for water sports that I didn’t use. After raising the issue with the receptionist, they promptly contacted the water activities center and confirmed the charge was mistakenly applied to my room. The receptionist sincerely apologized and removed the charge immediately. However, I believe the staff should confirm the guest’s name before registering any charges to avoid such errors. For instance, if someone mistakenly gives the wrong room number, it could lead to unnecessary confusion!

Hotel per see is just 5* hotel in hot country. What really stands out is the service. My wife got seriously sick. There was a doctor on site, which give us first diagnose and medicaments before finaly going to emergency. Staff was really wonderfull, we got a lot of care, way more than we expected. Especially I want to send thanks to Moumita, Richilda and Navid for all the help. Even fact, we know them by name should tell you how they stand out ;-)

Not much to complain, but still... Like in many hotels, staircase looks terrible and shouts at you "use elevator". But I don't want to. There was also a minor issue with fighting for sunbed reservation. Really, even with keeping free sundbeds, you could introduce something like "paid reservation day before" and that would be an advangate for everyone.

I would highly recommend Jumeirah Muscat Bay to anyone looking for a relaxing and indulgent getaway. Five stars isn't enough - I'd give it ten if I could!
