From check-in, although we asked if we can be on the high floor, the reception gave us low floor room, which was okay. Apart from this, all the staff were commendable, housekeeping Suraj, he was very generous and tireless although we asked to clean our room and changed the sheets almost everyday. From the breakfast buffet staff, Mina was accommodating and attentive to us, everytime we ate breakfast, he always finds time to have a little chitchat with us and make sure everything was the best! And he offered to give us early food for breakfast since unfortunately we can't have our last breakfast buffet coz our flight was very early on that day. Keep up the good quality of service!

When we came to the room, there were no bath robes and hair dryer but when we called in, they were quick to give us those things. The pool was not suitable for us, it looked kinda not clean coz we went during the Eid holidays so we were met with many guests also which was understandable. And there was one night maybe on a weekend, it was very noisy, since we were on a low-room floor we can hear the party noise from the outside which was a bit difficlut to sleep on that night. In addition, there was one time when we came back to our room, there was water dripping from the ceiling but otherwise the rest of the services should be expected from a 5 star hotel

The concierge and reception during check in and check out was seamless. Breakfast spread was nice. Ample parking space. Since it was during EID, special activities were held for kids and my kids enjoyed it very much.

rooms were run down with non removable stains on the bath tub. It was not something I anticipated in a 5 star hotel. I had to continuously ask for extra soap and shampoo and it was not enough. I arrived late for check in and called the hotel to inform that I was going to be late but instead I was scolded for being late. I raised this up to the management; not sure if anything was done.

Excellent spread of breakfast. We were spoilt for choice. Staff was super friendly and chef went out of his way to cook speciality meals of our choice with less spices as that was what we requested. My husband is diabetics and he will only eat very little desserts. Chef noticed it and brought us a special cheese platter. One day chef made me special potato parathas. There were unlimited spread of freshly squeezed juices (beetroot, carrot, green healthy juice, watermelon and orange juice). On our last day after breakfast when were checking out, one of the staff member gave us a take away box of dry fruit and fresh fruit for our airport journey. We found this gesture so very thoughtful. We did not even ask. It was offered to us. Rooms were cleaned regularly and water bottles topped up daily. Pool was very clean and there were timings for mixed gender and ladies only. Sauna and Steam room were ok.

There was nothing that we did not like. Everything was perfect. Mohammed, Shalini, Ibrahim were all so very polite with big smile on their face and welcoming attitude.

I absolutely loved your hotel! The staff was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The location is truly impressive, offering both convenience and breathtaking surroundings. My room was spotlessly clean, and the hallway was filled with a delightful fragrance of Arabian perfume, adding a touch of luxury to the atmosphere. The breakfast was rich and varied—perhaps the best I have ever had in a hotel. Every dish was fresh and beautifully presented. What impressed me the most was the attitude of the staff—always smiling and accommodating. Special thanks to the hostesses Agnes and Sabrine, who were incredibly kind and attentive to us. Without a doubt, I would return again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Oman!

The only thing I would like is to be placed on the highest floor, to fully immerse myself in the atmosphere of the Arabian world, and to enjoy a view of the entire city.

I recently stayed at this hotel with my dad and couldn't be more happy with the experience. The staff were always welcoming and attentive, making sure all our needs were met promptly. The hotel's location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions like Mutrah Souq etc. We particularly liked the breakfast buffet as it offered a different variety of delicious options. The gym was spacious, clean and offered all the main types of equipment needed to get a good workout in. The spa facilities were really good and I also got a massage which was very relaxing after a long day of hiking/walking. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

As expected from a Sheraton hotel, the rooms are spacious and have decent facilities though they could do with a bit of refurbishment as some look a little dated, but nothing massively noticeable that would affect your stay here in a negative way. If you have a car the free parking is great and makes the hotel very easily accessible with good access to the major roads and main attractions. It is primarily a business hotel, but the restaurants also have a decent offering, breakfast has lots of options so it's worth getting that included. Staff were all friendly and willing to help, they tried to make dinner reservations for us at our request as well. Regardless if you are visiting Oman on business or for leisure, the Sheraton is a good base to set up at.

We stayed for two nights at the Sheraton Oman Hotel as a family couple. The breakfast was varied and satisfying for all tastes. However, the dinner was quite disappointing — mostly Indian cuisine with very limited options for a 5-star hotel. There was only one soup, the bread was hard, and overall, the meal was not enjoyable. We complained to the management, and they explained that when there are fewer guests, the food selection is reduced, and since most guests were Indian, the cuisine was tailored to them (although we noticed many other nationalities as well). Fortunately, the staff was very attentive and offered us the chance to choose from the à la carte menu for the second night, which turned out to be excellent — we had grilled seafood and Arabic-style meat. The room was spacious and clean, but some rooms don’t have a bidet hose, so it’s important to request one if needed. The outdoor pool is only 1.2 meters deep and the indoor pool 1.3 meters, with an anti-slip mat that was uncomfortable to walk on. Also, from 10 AM to 12 PM, the indoor pool is reserved for women only. The jacuzzi, however, was very pleasant with a good temperature and strong bubbles. Special thanks to Ms. Janat from the front desk for her support, and to Mr. Fernando from the restaurant management for handling our complaint with care and offering a great dining experience the second night.

The hotel is lovely , clean and ideal if you are looking to switch off and just spend a few days soaking up the sunshine. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. The room was big and spacious and I had a lovely view of the pool side. The breakfast was delightful and had a variety for every need. The spa area is ideal for evening swim, steam and sauna. A perfect way to end the day. The hotel really has everything you would need. More so , I left my sunglasses at the hotel and they manage to locate these and have them sent back to me via another person who was staying at the hotel and lives next to me in the UK. They went over and beyond on this and I really appreciated it.

The location outside the hotel does not have a lot going on. So you’d need a taxi to get anywhere. I would also look into car hire as it’s a lot cheaper than the taxi’s which can be pricey.

A very comfortable hotel with wonderful, helpful staff. The hotel has excellent facilities and is spotlessly clean. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they were ever willing to help out. We look forward to the chance to stay at the Sheraton again.

The Club Lounge was below par in comparison with other hotels. There needs to be a wider range of foods/snacks available during the day and evening. There should also be a wider range of self service drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) available to lounge guests, in a similar fashion to other such lounges in 5 star hotels.
