there is nothing we didnt like

I loved the serene and picturesque location of The Margala Hotel, nestled in the foothills of the Margalla Hills. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, and the staff was exceptionally courteous and helpful. The food at the hotel's restaurant was delicious, offering a great variety of local and international dishes.

There wasn't much to dislike, but the Wi-Fi could be a bit faster, also they must have transportation facility for guests.

Hotel is in a beautiful green environment, close to the city center of Islamabad. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Everything is clean and well maintained. Rooms are spacious and we had a great view on the Magala mountain range. Room service had freshly made dishes.

The security check at the entrance seems a bit over the top, but ok, it will be safe inside the hotel's perimeter. Distance to the real city center needs a taxi.

I liked the location of the hotel and the overall atmosphere of it. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The managers at the front desk were very friendly, nice, and cooperative. The buffet breakfast was very good. Keep it up. I will stay in this hotel again whenever I get a chance to visit Islamabad.

1)The complementary fruit basket needs a little generosity to impress the guests. 2)The electric kettle was not of a good quality, and its handle became so hot (as the water reached boiling point ) that it was impossible to hold it.

I have stayed in Margala before as well and i prefer margala for its seclusion from the main road.

We were supposed to get room with Garden View but we were placed in a room with outside parking view and during the night there was some off loading of cement and trucks were there and it was very noisey. That disturbed our sleep. If a person is spending almost 30K for one night, the most important thing is you atleast get comfortable quiet sleep but that was not the case.

Excellent value for money - compared to the 5-star hotels nearby. Nice room, decent WiFi. Exceptional staff who make you feel at home. The room is good. The food from the restaurant is great.

Breakfast was good . Excellent quality and variety. Location is superb.

I think the indoor services are best but parking areas need shades for cars. It would be better if shades ( protection sheets) are installed in the parking areas of hotel.

They accomodated my requests of a mattress in the room and along with a delayed checkout. I really appreciate the staff for being considerate and hospitable. I returned to the hotel nearly after 10yrs and it felt the same, very nostalgic.

Room (king size), car parking, cleanliness were top notch and staff was friendly and helpful. A minor inconvenience was that the exhaust of bathroom was not operational, but other than that everything was great.

Nice location friendly staff comfortable stay.

Some things could do with updating and proper coffee machine instead of instant wood be good.
